Yeah I should be able to make it this week

DONT DO THE JUMP at cape ring!!!!! IT'S A TRAP!!!!## Psycho is trying to ambush us to get another win:lol:

I say again DONT DO THE JUMP AT CAPE RING. Tap your brakes stay on the ground or you'll have a very bad saturday night.

But the car is awesome.
The NSX is fun too. Thank goodness there's walls at SSR5, It's the only thing that keeps the car on the track:lol::lol:

The last time we drove it was at Fuji on SS tires. It was awful.

I was practicing last night (as defending champion I know everyone will be gun'n for me ) and I was getting those same inexplicable spins like the GT1 Turbo at Sierra (except for RO86) so I changed the track to the Motegi Road Course.

Yea, I need some competition f1sh. One win and it went to my head! Schmiggz, you so crazy.
Woahhh! Psycho wants some competition? Well here I come! Phish Speed coming this Saturday  why do I sound so evil?

Edit: oh my! Finally fixed my buttkicker! Why it wasn't working? Eh forgot to put a PS3 cord in. But she's working now  Perfect timing since psycho needs competition and the buttkicker was really use full to getting through corners faster :sly:

Lol ah cmon! Just messing with ya! I miss destroying you on track! So I'll be their! GT500 cars sound like a blast!!
FTFY.
No, I don't think there is an out of bounds on that track. Also, I have changed Fuji to Motegi Road Course for round 2. I just wasn't feeling it at Fuji which isn't surprising because I never feel it at Fuji.
Good. I prefer Motegi to Fuji. The old 80's and 90's Fuji on the older GT's I loved. Not a fan of the new one, especially the last windy section. No flow to it at all. :yuck:

I wasn't feel'n it Fuji. It's not bad in an F1, but I don't enjoy the track very much otherwise.

I might hop online for a bit when I get home to get some practice in before I head out. How does the cars handle for these three combos?

I have no clue. I have driven the NSX at SSR5 before, it was quite nice.

DRIVERS MEETING

The "Golden Rule" of Motorsports

"It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free."

Rules

You are expected to follow The "Golden Rule" of Motorsports and adhere to the GTPlanet Online Racing Rules and exercise Good Racecraft at all times, especially in turn 1.

"Rubbin"

This is a non-contact sport. Let me put it another way, if you are "rubbin", you ain't racing in this league. We will not tolerate individual drivers taking the fun out of racing for everyone.

First Turn

You are not going to win the race on the 1st turn or the 1st lap. Therefore, it is the policy of this league for you to hold your position in turn 1. Holding your position in the first turn is limited to the first turn on the first lap. You must hold your position through the 1st turn and make no attempt to advance it unless the following situations occur: 1) The driver directly in front of you is asleep on the start. 2) The driver directly in front of you runs off course with at least 2 wheels off the track. 3) Obvious race incidents that must be avoided. Other drivers may draft past you before the approach (braking zone) to turn 1 if it can be done incident free. In other words, if you are able to fully draft past someone without incident or disruption to the other driver(s) with a reasonable distance before approaching the first turn you may.

This rule is in place for 2 reason: (1) to avoid incidents in the first turn, and (2) so that drivers doing their part to avoid incidents in the 1st turn of are not taken advantage of. There is no sense in causing an incident in the congestion of the first turn. Furthermore, it is inappropriate to take advantage of other drivers doing their part to keep turn 1 incident free. Once again, you may not attempt to pass once in the braking zone of the 1st turn of the 1st lap. If a complaint is filed, the decision we make will be one that promotes an incident free first turn.

Dive Bombing

Dive bombing is unacceptable
, and only results in accidents. It is not the same as passing under braking. Dive-bombing is when a trailing car intentionally brakes late to dive underneath the car in front of them as they are turning into a corner. The trailing driver must move to the low groove for at least 3-4 seconds prior to corner entry, so that the leading driver can see the trailing drivers intentions in his mirror. However, running the low groove is not a guarantee that he will allow you to pass, it is only an indication that you wish to pass him on the low side.

Procedures

Until everyone has accepted the TURTLE RACING LEAGUE "Community" invitation and we have more experience with the "Community" function we will run the races in an open lobby. Go to "Open Lobby" and check the "Friends Rooms Only" box and look for TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX RACING SERIES and enter. Races will begin at 10pm Eastern time.

Connection Issues

Please follow the procedures below to help minimize connection issues.
Step 1: Reboot your modem/router
Step 2: Reboot your PS3
Step 3: Clear your GT6 in game System Cache

Pit Stops

Drivers need to be very careful entering the race track when exiting the pit. Please look at your map to see if other drivers are near the pit exit. Drivers exiting the pit need to stay in the pit exit lane until the track is clear of cars on the track. Cars on the track have the right of way.

Quitting

Drivers are expected to finish races no matter what position they are in. Rage quitting is frowned upon! :grumpy:

Microphones

Although you are welcome to use microphones during the race, they should only be used to communicate your proximity to other drivers in order to avoid an incident. Otherwise, either mute them or make sure any background noise in non-existent.

Reminders

1: Hold your position and do not attempt advance in turn 1 of lap 1
2: If you go off track make sure the track is clear before you re-enter
3: If you cause an accident you must wait and give the position back
4: Watch for cars on the track coming out of the pit, stay to the inside
5: Keep Microphones muted during race unless advising your proximity
6: Drivers being lapped must let lapping drivers by without contesting

Race Incidents

Legitimate complaints are encouraged, they insure a better racing environment for everyone. Complaints should be addressed by "Private Message" to the race steward of the race in which the incident occurred. Please include race number, lap number, and time of incident. A ruling will be announced after a video review by an independent steward. All racing incidents or racing related issues shall be dealt with privately and under no circumstance mentioned publicly.

Final Note

Race Clean and Have Fun!
