The combo just felt comfortable to me. And for some reason I didn't seem to be burning the front tires off my car as much as others. I have no idea why.

Ha. I'm pretty sure you still wouldn't have anything to worry about. If you didn't slide around like crazy and wear those tires last night, you would have had me beat. The race was an anomaly.Just be thankful that Canada isn't a part of GT Academy this year...

Another great night of racing for the TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX RACING SERIES. It was all DolphDrago in the TVR at Silverstone. Congratulations DolphDrago on a well deserved overall win! DolphDrago narrowly edged out BionicDerp for Pole and went on to win each race by comfortable margins with the added bonus of having the fast lap in Round 2 and great battles with micantony and Psycho-Tuber along the way. micantony had 2 very good races and fought off DolphDrago for a good portion of Round 1, but wasn't able to get around Psycho-Tuber in Round 2. micantony went on to finish 2nd overall. Welcome back micantony! What littleregret265 lacked in Round 1 he made up for in Round 2. Psycho-Tuber was a little more consistent than littleregret265. Both driver ended up with 78 Points with litleregret265 taking 3rd Place in the Tie Breaker. Psycho-Tuber finished in 4th Place. NORML_N had good speed and was consistent enough to take 5th Place. Welcome NORML_N, we look forward to racing with you again. euclid58 also had good speed but wasn't as consistent finishing in 6th Place. RacingOtaku86 didn't find the combination to his liking even though his fast lap in Round 1 was competitive. RacingOtaku86 raced to a 7th Place finish. BionicDerp had a very good 3rd Place finish in Round 1 as well as the fast lap. But, a one and done only earned him enough points for 8th Place overall. X-Rad11 finished 4th in Round 1, but did not finish Round 2 and ended up in 9th Place. Turtles, that was so much fun we should do it again some time!

dare i say under 2 minute lap times?The gold time is apparently 2:11? But I'm going to guess the fastest guys will be around 2:00 by the time this first round ends.

somewhat off topic, but i saw the first round of the GT Academy is open. i've never done it before, and i never plan to leave a good career for a risk like that, or plan to be good enough to drive unrealistically enough in a game to qualify, but, when does the first round end? i literally have no time to get on and check.

Lightning, move all those career thoughts to the back of your mind and just participate for the fun of it. i still dont know you that well and how fast you really are but believe me, i met a few supersonic guys that never made it to Silverstone and if you been following the GT academy previous seasons you probably remember this one guy that wentto Silverstone and gave up mid way because he didn't wanted to leave his life behind.
