Thanks to everyone who came out tonight! I had an absolute blast. I know it was a tough track, but I'm glad you guys hung in there. There was intense racing throughout all 3 races and a battle for the lead in each one as well. You never knew who was going to win even with only 2 minutes left. Great racing!

And without Phisher, Psycho, and West racing, I finally won a Turtle race for the first time since its relaunch. Woohoo!

Sorry bout those lag spikes... But all in all, great racing and a good way to make my asphalt Turtle return! The Aston eats tires, but is the fastest while it does that... For a bit at least The BMW is definitely the most balanced car of them all. 👍 Congrats to Dolphin, lightning, and everyone else for great racing!

Race Recap

Wowzers, what exciting racing! A difficult track with a mix of very different cars racing around it. Such as the snug, well handling (for the most part) and excellent all rounder BMW, the extremely fast, but will kill you Aston Martin, and the slow, but steady MINI among several other VGT’s. Coupled with hills, a jump, two fast sweepers, and mean turn 1 that could catch you off guard if you weren’t laying down a perfect line, it was a challenging night indeed!

Well, it seemed to be a challenging night for everyone except lightningdf22b1, who took 2 wins along with a 2nd place to claim the overall standings. Consistency was the name of the game for him, and it paid off. DolphDrago let a podium finish slip away from him in race 1, and an incident near the end while leading cost him the chance for a win in race 2. He finally prevailed in race 3, and much to his happiness picked up his first Turtle victory since its relaunch. Overall, he took 2nd overall for the evening. Voodoovaj had a little trouble with his consistency in the second race, but was very fast otherwise. He grabbed a couple of podiums and ran well enough to finish 3rd in the final standings. Chochochocochip5 earned the pole on the tricky course. He sure knew how to get a fast lap with whichever car he was in, setting the fastest time for each car he raced (see below). Much to his chagrin (I’m guessing ), he finished a frustratingly scant 1 point behind voodoo in 4th place. gr8racrs set the fastest lap in two of the three races, showing he had the speed and was rewarded with a 5th place overall in the standings. RacingOtaku86 hung in there for the first two races before heading to the pits in the final race, finishing 6th in points. Coming in 7th with a never-give-up attitude was littleregret265. micantony struggled throughout the night, and he would finish the evening in the final spot in the standings, just 2 points short of littleregret. Last and not least, a tuckered out schmiggz called it a day midway through the first race.
