Its just because i Threw Light our of competition early and i tought it would be a nice gester to give his points back. In all situations... This is one of my 3 least best...I'm Ok with whatever. No, not really. You were right behind dolph at the finish, then you pulled over and waited a while for lightningd to pass you and then you jumped in between he and psycho.
You may not even be classified for that race at all, not sure what the stewards will decide.
I just put you second in my unofficial results because under normal circumstances, that is where you would have finished is all. My results mean nothing though, i just put them up in case anyone wanted to add up some points to see where they might stand...
After the contact, you did stay back behind him as you're supposed to do. Once you've waited long enough afterwards to attempt to try to pass him again, then it's all good. You did eventually make your way back around him, so it should have been over then. While I understand what you were trying to do in an attempt to make up for an earlier mistake, the problem in this case is that the final result affected others. With a championship dependent on point scoring each week along with dropping your worst three races, it could have an impact on others in the overall picture. Its just because i Threw Light our of competition early and i tought it would be a nice gester to give his points back. A few of us ran some practice after the FLEX race on Saturday. If you're careful, you can stretch the fuel 8 laps in the LMP2. Tire wear was minimal. It looks like the race may be 14 or 15 laps depending on how fast the LMP1 guys run. If it's 15, it could be an interesting race. Some people may run out of gas if they're not careful. Others, using strategic throttle control or drafting, should be able to make it 8 laps. All I know is it's gonna be fun.Any idea on fuel/tire usage and stuff like that? For both cars, even though I'm racing LMP2. Guessing the LMP2 would pit every 3-4 laps like most cars and only question is how much fuel to take.
Now you see why I asked? I figured I just go with the 2013 version to practices.
After an hour of practices, I feel sorry for the GTR guys. Speed is not every thing. All that shaking and understeering. Have fun with that. I'll take the zytek. Way smoother! Better balance!

Again, I understand where you're coming from. And in a casual race, it's no big deal. But in a championship fight, it becomes a little more important. For you, it didn't matter, as like you've mentioned, it's one of the three races you're dropping anyway. In fairness to the rest of the competition, though, you can't intentionally give up a position(s) as it affects the overall results of others.
Great racing otherwise! 👍
Got down to 84 on GT academy earlier today. Better than I ever thought I'd do lol
Regionally?
yea, down to 97 now. I couldn't even complete a clean lap last night.
Fixed.

I'm sorry I missed that last round. My soccer team needed the bodies. I have a torn calf muscle for my efforts (where the achilles attaches to the calf). I guess turtles shouldn't run so fast :-P
I HATE driving standard cars. There's just something about the way they feel that makes them sub par... And they're ugly :-)
Sign me up for the Dtm challenge though. I'll sell them Saturday morning.
How do I get to design a challenge? I would love to set one up :-D
That car is tough. It took me several tries to get a clean lap. I watched SprintCupChamp1s lap and dayum. A 3:28 is amazing though, Congratulations!

I know people don't like running standards, but I like to use cars that, well...rarely get used. Not many showed for the first set of DTM races. I'm hoping we get a better turnout this Friday. And ouch about that calf injury. Heal up soon!I'm sorry I missed that last round. My soccer team needed the bodies. I have a torn calf muscle for my efforts (where the achilles attaches to the calf). That's a hell of a lap time. Nice job! 👍thanks. i think my official lap is 28.5. i had a 28.0 the same night, but it was dirty. haven't been close since, lol. i lose almost 2 seconds in the first 2 sectors. the others, i'm kind of close, but the first two just kill me.
