First of all, GT3 its settings are so unrealistic its unbelivable, in england ther is a car called "project x" this is a twin turbo 1000BHP Nissan skyline R32, its has run low 10s high 9s and is current a bit broken, but anyway, it has HKS full drag suspension, which the springs are set at 4 for teh front and 10 at the bak, and i tried this bt everyones right u can beter times with crazy stupid settings like 20, 20?!?!?!?Why the hell is this?

Ruf RGT: 0'08.914
R34 GTR:0'09.149

I think this happens because gt3 is a....game!!?!!

Here in Greece a lotus esprit (not the sport 350 version) it has run 9,8 with about 1000+ bhp. So i think that gt3 is verry realistic for a game. Plus that the suspension is only one for all the cars. Neither HKS nor Tein etc.

So if ur sayin that, then theroticaly, a skyline should be able to a 7sec (worldrecord) held by HKS or at the least a High 8sec?? Like Mario, with GTR-700? i was just givin the suspension as an exaple, but the settings must be pretty universal, or else they wouldnt be good would they.???? and apart from the fact they didnt put ATTESA in the game, i love the game, but tats the best thing about the skyline, why miss it out?

I don't like racing the race modified cars since none of them are dragsters. So I keep to the street cars. It seems the R-34 V-SpecII is popular. I have one that runs well, but not as well as some on this thread. It just ran a 9.381, but that's after changing the suspension, tires, VCD, and the suto setup on the gearing. I really haven't even cracked into it. My Supra, even though it is not as fast, is my pride because I got that thing to finally hit 10's.

in drag cars its about the gears. my dad races a car with 400 hp is a nos 100hp nos shot. he did low 13's till he got a new tranny in his car now it does mid 11's next is the rear end gears and with them it will do 9 seconds. its all about the gears the car we have is only a 3 speed. the game is pretty real when it come to the 1/4 mile. by the way the fastes drag cars do 4 seconds at 300 mph and take off with 8 gforce on the driver

here is a page about the fastest dragster.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2003/racing/09/28/nhra.qual.ap/
the page states...
"Kalitta raced down the Route 66 Raceway quarter-mile in 4.428 seconds at 333.00 mph in his Mac Tools dragster to earn his ninth No. 1 qualifying position of the season and 16th of his career. Kalitta needs to post a time of 4.472 seconds or faster tomorrow to certify the performance as a national record. Cory McClenathan, who qualified second with a 4.463 second effort in his dragster, also can set the national record by clocking a time of 4.507 or quicker."
