Oh, and just you wait when we hit the 1000th page. I'm preparing right now.

Allow me to help out by posting a picture of the upcoming Matchbox Sliverado. 👍

Boom, 1000 pages.

:/ not the way I would have picked to start the 1k page, but ok.

HAPPY 1K YOU SOBS! It's amazing that this thread has remained as strong and active as it is for such a long time. Screw you all.

So, lets start. Do at least some of you remember this picture?

It's from january of this year, when in a moving market because of magic kings day I found all these with a lovely old lady that was selling them for $3 a pop. they were all his dad's cars and was reluctant to let them go, but was glad they ended up with a collector instead of with local kids.

Well, turns out she had more, and I returned the next weekend to pick them up. Amongst them was the red Hot Wheels CIPSA cockney Cab that I did post in here, but I never showed you what else I dragged home that day.

Well, until now:

All of them Matchbox Lesney from the Superfast era, with the exception of the F1 cars, which are extremely extremely rare Politoys/Polistil made in Mexico cars, all of them mint as heck.

But wait, what's in the boxes? Glad you asked:

The stunner here is the Ford pick up with the 4 dogs in absolutely minty shape.

I'm tagging Lambert to this post. @jtl46

:0 awesome Lesneys! And in great shape too! the only one i'm missing from there is the honda bike. I've got the trailer somewhere. That Jeep pick up is an absoutely awesome casting.

Also, MOAR. These still made in France Majorettes were all trapped in their blisters, which were in extremely bad shape, so I liberated them. The big one there is the blue Golf, extremely sought after! I'll post individual pics later on.

Cano, guess what you are going to do? You are going to write an article for Lamley about these finds, with a ton of your awesome pics included. That is awesome...

I'm all for it John, because it is in fact a great story. I've kept in touch with the lady to this date, and I actually went back there for a thid time to pick up some other cars, and Ahmed went with me and picked up a bunch of 50s-era model kit cars. Hit me up in a PM and tell me what you need, I can get pictures of everything, and maaaaaybe even a picture of the lady!

Also, MOOOOOAR! Honouring the thread's title, here are some Hot Wheels, from vintage pieces to up-to-date stuff:

With the difference that I already have individual pics for all of these (:

First up, the chrome California Cruisin' Supervan, which is extremely hard to find in decent, non-dull-chrome condition, and with the tampo intact:

Next, the incredibly good Plymouth Belvedere of the Boulevard series. when hot Wheels wants, damn it can get things right. This thing is MONEY. All about it.

We then have one of my rarest original Real Rider cars, which is also in pretty much near mint condition, the Surf Patrol!

And we of course finish up with the original from 1969 Paddy Wagon redline in almost mint condition, which @a6m5 may like:

And yes, I will keep on collapsing the 1000th page with pics. You're welcome.

@Cano. Dude you're killing me. :P

Welcome to the 1000th page (:

Also these grabs from last year's convention, from top to bottom: $1 redline Supervan, rare all-terrain tires variation of the white CJ7 Jeep, the Real Riders Path Beater I showed you some days ago, Boulevard Series' fabulous Hudson Hornet, an upgrade for my made in Mexico Cadillac Seville with the gray tailights/interior, black Mercedes with Ultra Hots wheels, Large Charge in chrome trim, and the rarest of the bunch, and unfortunately the car in the worst shape, an ultra-utlra-ultra low production brown Hot Bird.

Oh and there is also an antique store at the place where I'm going to the flea market that sells old cars for $1 each, and redlines for $5. Some of them in minty condition too. :D

Yeah, it wasn't ideal but I needed an excuse to post in order push this into #1000 page territory and figured it was slightly better than posting nothing. Doesn't matter though it was totally worth it to see your pics (which we don't see enough of by the way) Spectacular stuff, that Blue Golf, Green Ford pickup and Holden ute especially. So freakin minty! Keep the pics coming. 👍
