Don't mind. The ones that have the "AOS Collection" plastered all over it can flood Google. It just brings more attention to my blog and the AOS username. :D

Take that, your trademark.

I don't know.

Edit: #2 :(

I have seen the British Racing Green one. I want it, but again, too many cars to go after!

That's true. I store the high-end stuff as well as my carded hot wheels in 2 medium-sized totes. Some how I have to manage the space between all of it - Hot Wheels, Kyoshos, TL, Norev, uhh MBX Superfast/Best of British, and CM'S just because I don't want to lose their little boxes (except you, CM's).

I tell myself not to make the excuse of getting a new tote, because that just means I'm giving myself more storage space to buy more cars.... it's like buying a new drawer for more room only to buy more clothes afterwards! But yeah, the closet's got no room for another tote so I need to stop very soon. I may have to have to get rid of some Boulevard cards and some of the uglier stuff.

You know, the best work around to the shortage of space I've come up with is to either make an excuse to buy another storage bin, OR I sell off the not-so-nice looking stuff... shame I haven't been having the best of luck on that. Wasn't even able to sell 40 cars for a single dollar without the buyer being too dumb to make a payment successfully.

I ought to get on that bin of wheel-less bodies again... sell it for low and dissect more of the current crap I have. If I can't get decent money back for a lot, I'm just going to take all their wheels and sell the bodies for dirt cheap.

edit: oh oh oh.

They finally hit the one store here.

It doesn't look pretty enough for $16, but that's kuwa****a's pricing for you. He does also have that silver F1 GTR, but again, his prices are the reason why these goodies have not sold.

Overpriced stuff aside, had some time to get another section of the index redone:

I put the SC430 under Lexus so the HKS Altezza wouldn't feel left out.

As celebration for this thread reaching 1000 pages, I'm...going to start reading it again. :P

Don't have anything cool to post picture-wise, but I will prevail.

A pair of 56 Hi Tail Haulers

I thought this one was really rare. It wasn't.

A couple of Tomicas. I love the Winnebago motor home

And last but not least, a redline Maxi Taxi (the one above is the less desirable blackwall version). I probably paid a bit too much, but it's really cool.

And that's it for this year's flea market finds. I hope to buy more when I return next year. :)

@mustang fanatic + @Daniel008 Love the Winnebago & Godzilla. 👍 Cool Baja Breaker, too.
Finally somewhere to put my premium cars.
Retail type displays are my favorite, but with hot wheels being so small, I think it would display lot better with rack, stands or something on those glass shelves lifting up the cars. That's what I'd do anyway.

Yeah, too rich for my blood, too.

That's great. That's cool, but have you been able to find anything else awesome?

Big fat this. I get on the case of figure collectors who don't use all the vertical space given to them. I keep thinking to myself "The space is there! None of it is being used! Why?!"

Eh, money spent on those is better spent on Carney cases.

The reason there is so much room at the top of the display is because I accidentally put the metal racks in upside down that hold the glass shelves. Too lazy to fix it. In any case I could probably have them modified to put 3 or 4 more shelves in if I could buy the glass separately from Ikea....but then I would rather have Carney cases. ;)

A few auctions are ending. I managed to convince myself not to go for those Cobras. Thank the lord. Sometimes I really hate the completionist in me.

Do you have the necessary tools to make smooth cuts on thin plexiglas? Glass may be too heavy if you choose to stack the additional shelves on the current shelves. Plexiglas is fairly cheap if you have access to an art store that carries any.

Good Guy Gesture: I missed out on a chance at a red 599XX Kyosho, but seller listed the black one recently: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121395711440

He also has that killer Shelby Collectables Cobra 427 as well as this Kyosho Nissan R88C. There's bound to be bidders on the 599 eventually (now especially since I linked you guys), but one can hope the lurking scum don't get on it. He ain't a popular seller so that's a good thing.

I'm talking about welding more shelf holders on the racks and using the same glass, which I'm sure I could buy separately.

That's even better. 👍

Unsure about IKEA selling individual glass shelves. Maybe as "replacements" but somehow it seems unlikely.

Good guy Gesture #2: TLVs for pretty competitive prices. I think.

GGG #2 part 2: CM'S 1978 Portugal Fiat Abarth for $6, which I paid twenty-🤬-five on ebay. Someone PLEASE snag this up.

edit: @Cano, think should I get these @ $10 a piece?
