Well went to my local antique mall again Friday since my dad was off that week and got some more vehicles. We went upstairs for the first time ever and I found even more places carrying Hot Wheels than before. Didn't get anything "super interesting" like last time, but I did find some good ones.

Houston Astros promo '65 Corvette, Kraft promo Nissan Hardbody....

and a Brach's promo Way 2 Fast, all for a $1 each!?!? First I get those Hydroplanes for 99 cents and now this? What is going on here?

80's Corvette. Seen this the last time I visited and I have been wanting to restore it, so I got it! :D

Pontiac Salsa for customizing.

This crazy Miata. :P Been 7 years since I last saw it and I made sure I didn't miss out this time.

Camaro Convertible. Couldn't resist the flashy color!

And then this. I don't believe it, a Corgi Chevrolet Corvette in mint condition! Ironic how it looks very closely alike to the 80's Corvette, but from a different brand. Now I just need to find my Hot Wheels version and do a comparison. Debating on doing a wheel swap for this one.

I seen another Corgi of some sort next to it but I forgot what it was. I always had a gut feeling Jack had some old Corgi's somewhere, but I wasn't sure where. I need to see if he has more because I am really wanting to start a collection of them as well.

Of course, here is the receipt:

In case anyone can't read it, the "Coke car" is the Corvette which was $2 and all the rest where a $1 each.

Would have bought more, but due to a lot of uncertainty of the prices and what all they had upstairs since it was my first time visiting, I left a few behind (Lamborghini Diablo being one of them. :grumpy:) because of it, but luckily I know now. Hopefully they will still be there when I go again.

OK, while back I mentioned that I wanted to take a shot of Greenlight Flatbed with something cool riding on it. I hope you guys enjoy what I've come up with. :D

For Mr. Dodge Viper @commodoreben , Hot Wheels 100% Dodge Viper GTS(AKA my favorite Viper)

Figure of speech! Figure of speech!

I know, man of will power.....

I never see Auto World at Walmart near me. I once found one at Walmart out of town. Standard IROC Camaro on a beat up card. I gladly took it. :D

Thanks for that pic A6. Hopefully when my house is built and Im in it (hopefully late March) Ill be able to sort through all my cars, which are packed away in boxes and a photo of all my Vipers might be taken.

No, I have several vintage Tomicas, but not a single premium model had fallen in my hands.
TLVs don't just simply fall into one's hands.

TLVs must be earned.

TLVs... okay this isn't going anywhere.

Moving on, I found a Cool Classics CRX at Target, a store which I never visit or remotely rely on for cars anymore. I also found a neat Cougar Eliminator. I was so glad I was able to spot it since I kept rummaging through the bin so quickly.

How else can you tell what's in them? That was the only way I knew how other than opening the package in the store.
Look at the photo of the packaging. See the code printed on it that starts with "E 51"? The code printed after that, which in this case looks to be 04? Flip the packaging over and it should be car #4.

With that printed code, the last two numbers are always the number of the car on the back.

I didnt know that, I always look through little clear round hole on corner of packaging, until I could tell what it was!

Is there a way to tell older ones with black blister?

Silver, red interior, chrome 10SPs?

Nope. That would be the 2010 New Models. Found that baby at work like 3 years ago in those silly 2-packs. Little did we know there's some money on that exact car.

But yeah, the 2014 Mystery Model is black. You won't mistake it for anything else.
