Still, personally I would have exhausted all retail sources before wasting that kind of money on a car when there's a chance I could get one for $1 before hand. Wait for the collectors day to come and go, THEN if you haven't found one, go for it. I might end up spending that amount too, but not before the collectors day. No reason to jump on one just yet, and the price may come down when the market is saturated with them.

It certainly was a impulse buy(hadn't planned on whether to keep it, or flip it). Then again, I had completely forgotten about the K-Day. No, I still think the chance of me going there, then finding the car is minuscule to say the least. What concerns me now, as you noted, is that K-Day dumping these things into the market next week will likely drop their market value.

Time will tell for sure, but at least it is a coveted casting.

I've gone to 2, or 3, at two locations. I do recall missing out on a sealed case once. Last one I was at, I think almost everyone got to go thru a sealed case, if not everyone.

With a single store in my small-ish town, I'm hoping I'll have a better chance. Seeing as the other stores usually end up super-less, there's got to be a group of collectors around here or maybe the employees are taking them. I just hope not many show up.

Same, the only kmart that's still open as far as I know is by my house and close to where I work. I hope not many people show up that day.

No money tonight, he gets a last message. No money tomorrow night, filing for non-payment. Auction ended Thursday night, he's had more than enough time.

I do, 4 days. You have more patience than me. Personally, I pay for my crap when I push the purchase button. Waiting 4 days is uncalled for. I sent him a warning today, he paid 10 minutes later. It really wasn't that hard, was it?

Edit: If TLV wants to continue with the epic new age cars (ala Nissan IDx) they NEED to make the new Miata. TLV make it so!

I also pay promptly. I personally give them a week, but they almost always pay within 2, 3 days at the most(usually over a weekend).

I'd be all for that. Unlike you, I'm not that crazy about its eyes(yeah, I saw), but man, Mazda is on a roll. I don't trust anyone but TLV to do a Mazda 6/Atenza.
