I just noticed that a close K-Mart does K-Day. Does the exclusives usually go fast? They just opened 20 minutes ago, but I won't get down there for another hour.

(I may be in an money crunch, but a few bucks can't hurt.)

My experience, exclusives will be there for while. If you show up late, you probably won't find any treasure hunts, but there should be plenty of exclusives & new releases to go around. I think I'm going as well after all.
Thought you didn't like those anymore.
Likely, I'd just have looked. I'm really picky these days.
Nope. I actually was looking to buy. I posted a link about Karuwaza having a huge sale on their Kyosho inventory. Some dude who shared it with me is now my personal mail forwarder for Japan-based orders. In that site, I found plenty of goods you can't find- or will find for higher prices- on eBay.

You ever heard of Kyosho releasing a BMW 3.5 CSL in full BMW racing livery? Yeah, I didn't either. ;)
Really good deal, Andy. 👍

Thanks for the info. I'd love to my hands on at least one $TH. But I know that is strecthing my luck.

In something like three years collecting, I think I found two Super TH, ever. With K-Day, if you show up on time, you at least have a chance at a Super, because generally, they have one sealed case per participator(draw a #, take turn opening a case). Of course, those things are gone as soon as they break open those cases.

If you go today, I wish you luck! *leaves for K-Day*

I decided not to go after hearing how bad the cases are. People that bought them online were getting the exclusives and first to market cars, then the rest of the case was filled with A case cars.

Well. I got a regular TH Chicane. Then I got all the exclusives and first to market. Plus I finally found a Snoopy. I'm happy.

B case cars at k day too right? Like the black 240z?
 No, if you had been paying attention you would have seen me say that I didn't go because people that bought cases off the KMart website were getting A case cars in their boxes. From what I have read on HWC (where you could have read it too) that was the case in-store as well. So if you want the exclusive colors then go check it out, if you are expecting more than that, don't waste your time. You're better off waiting for the B case bins at Walmart.

This. To the letter. Besides the exclusives, it was just peg warmer stuff from the last few months. Nothing special in the slightest. I'm sure the big collectors had found anything of value in minutes. But I didn't even see them walking out with anything that caught my eye except the Snoopy. Which a nice guy handed to me.

@Gotbeefboy564 @R1600Turbo @Ken Koios :

Same here. I was hoping to find the mainline Bluebird wagons, but no go on that either. I don't think anyone found any Super THs. I would've gone anyway, because as some of you guys know, I'm partial to the '59 Caddy Funnycar, and I figured that I'll try that 20 car mail-in thing for the first time(where do you get the mail-in form again?).

I bought around 25 cars(they are going to my nephews, loose). These are the only notable ones:

Supra & Riviera. Riviera, I didn't even buy it for myself, but I ended up really digging this thing.

The triangular decals on the Riviera look kind of cool. Not very fitting for a Riviera, but whatever.

The FunnyCaddy reminds me of a shoe when I look at its profile.

I did pick up some duplicates as well. Although I'm not sure why. I also saw two Bluebird mainlines. But those aren't that hard to find here.

As far as the mail in form, I think HWC has all the information. I'd check, but I'm getting terrible cell service where I'm at and cant get the page to load to link it.

EDIT: Strike that last bit. I can find the form either.

Apparently bad service equals a double post. Sorry about that.

I'll check there. Thanks. 👍

I think @Johnny1996 struggled with this before? It is mindboggling how Mattel shield this form from public. They advertise the hell out of the free car, then they tell you about this form you have to fill out & send with the 20 cards, receipt, but will not tell you where or what this form is.

There is only one shoe, EVER!

One of my favorite cars, all-time.

I should be able to make the rest of the K days since I'll be starting a new unloader job on the 15th and a 4pm to 1 am shift.

I think I'm supposed to wait until they link the form on that free car page @ HWC. I found the old page, and they did link the form on that page.

You are my hero today. Thanks for bringing up about the K-Day last night. I had forgotten all about it. 👍
*hint hint* You can make some small change off some people if you grab some of those.
They don't go for whole lot. I doubt it's worth the time. After listing/selling fees, you'll be lucky to make $2 per car & you have to pay for packaging & time to go mail it, too.
