@ken Kois, the bluebirds. Anything "Datsun" is sought after by the masses. And honestly, some people can't even get access to them so they're probably willing to spend a few extra bucks to secure one. Thought the small profit might help you out.

I've seen at least two today and probably five in the last week. They have become peg warmers for whatever reason here. I'll have to pick a few up and see if I can fuel the hobby.

One I attended, all exclusive & first-to-market cars were everywhere, with the exception of Mini. I managed just one, from my own sealed case.

What a find....... Yes, the TLV car was a instant automatic preorder. I didn't even realize that it was the Australian Rally until you mentioned it back then. I had no idea how awesome of race this was though:

This would've been a reality TV gold. Unbelievable adventure, considering the course, the terrain & the 48hp motor going close to 1000km/600+ miles a day. Amazing.

Yeah, I wasn't aware of the car before I saw in that 829 Japan article where they mentioned "Australian Rally". Pretty significant car in Toyota's history. Wasn't aware either that they entered three Crowns for the next years Trail. TLV so need to release one of the '58 cars in the future, perfect companion piece. The '58 class winning Datsun 1000's too. 👍

Here too, but that one's probably a variant. That Super Blitzen above do have different rims than the two I picked up yesterday at K-Day. My nephews had no luck with that thing on the track, maybe different wheels will help. j/k

I never even tried learning. OH5's the only one I remember, coming from the guy who thought the Speed Machines had rubber tires until Andy corrected me.
