In my opinion, the black is the one to go for. It looks very believable as a test mule. And besides, it is the color of the real life car...

But... the metalic red ones are the "collectibles"! They come in a white base, not that it looks pretty, but it's clearly more special than the regulars.

I did at one point have a chance at the pearl white F50, but I turned down the offer in favour of putting that money on something else.

The rear wheels look really tacky, but nothing a little putty can't fix. As for the wheels you should get some paint pens to paint them white or black
 
Still haven't seen any new cars. These were in the bins when I went to find the mini and Vette.
The first Walmart I usually have luck with had all A case cars

HWC.com had the Darth Vader Hot Wheel today. I didn't want it, but I thought I could flip it. Their Thursday special sale car was the El Camino I've been stalking, so perfect, I'll get both! I had both in cart, but by the time I made it to the payment page, Vader was sold out. :lol: Oh well, I wasn't sore like I was with the Bond car I missed out on on Tuesday. On the way home, I did find this baby:

NO YABI! I love xB, but one xB I don't touch is the Hot Wheels xB....... though it does look better in yellow. I may have to look at that one, but don't hold your breath. :lol: Sort of jealous on the Secret TH Jeep though, and nice job on two Snoopy & two Kool Kombis. :)👍

That is a strong possibility. I had to buy that Bluebird from TTP. Thankfully, it was one of the rare cases where seller was asking below $50. Whew.

I was going to say, thank god it was K-Mart exclusive, because I don't want it, and I usually never even go near a K-Mart. :lol:
 
How many Star Wars cars are there in this new set? I thought only five, (Yoda, R2-D2, Vader, Chewbacca, and Skywalker), but I just found a Clone Trooper and a Tusken Raider.

I wasn't aware of those either but found the Storm Trooper. Still need the Tusken Raider.
 
I guess the only one I'm missing is R2-D2 then. I have the known ones.
 
I actually like that one. R2D2 looked OK, but I still wasn't feeling it. I like Star Wars, I like Hot Wheels, but they don't seem to mix very well, at least to me.

P.S. That Darth Vader I missed out on HWC.com this morning? I think it was $40 + shipping. :eek:
 
I thought the combo of Star Wars and Hot Wheels are pretty neat. The Skylander one is really cool in my opinion.

P.S. You're right, $39.99. To rich for my blood. The only thing it seemed to have over the one in my lap is it came with a nifty box.
 
I did see the case, and it was pretty neat. Still, I'd have flipped that one sooner or later. Collectible value was pretty high with that one, and I can appreciate you guys digging the Star Wars meet Hot Wheels thing, but I personally wasn't feeling it. *shrug*

...and a metal base, and more detail, and premium wheels/tires. ;)
 
I was wondering. I knew it was a premium, but didn't I didn't know if they just put it on real riders.
