Two packages from Mattel arrived today:
K-Mart Mail-in '59 Cadillac Funny Car


Something something '10 Ford Mustang

They seem pretty cool for 1/87s, I just thought the price was rather steep.

The LS430 is by Majorette. I've seen pictures of the model before on the internet, just haven't seen one in person. I must say, it's not bad. Definitely better than today's Maisto's.

Would like to customize it, but I don't have the time to do so. Heck, I'd love to restore a bunch of the beat up models I find at flea markets.

I agree on the price. I may have to look into the Majorette LS430. I am a LS Series fanboy, but LS430, I particularly like(my god, I'm weird).

Got back from a stupid 14 hour shift, had to run out to walmart for its wifi to bid on stuff.

As I was reading this, I was on McDonalds wifi, as wifi's been down at work.

Yeah, same. Glad about that because it was one of the ones that I was really after. Bluebird doubt I'll ever see one, meh.

Not all that on topic, but tonight I swing by Toys R Us again, due to traffic again. As I'm going thru the pegs, this dude asks me what I'm looking for. I tell him that I've been trying to find the Datsun wagon.............. he asks, "is that one of the holiday cars?"

I told him 'no', but I think they are Walmart exclusive...... now, the other day, I said that holiday VW was completely out at one of the stores? This guy goes on to tell me "I think I bought about 20 Golfs". I was like, 💡💡💡 now I know why they were out!

Gonna wait for these four to come in.

It's funny. I bought one of those Minis for a custom, only for Mattel to "steal" my idea a week later when I saw the casting. So now I am doing a circuit racer instead of a rally car.

To be fair, Mattel probably had that one ready weeks before it went into production, so a good chance that Mattel can turn this claim around on you.

So of all the stuff I had listed for sale, about half of it actually sold. Everything else has had nosy watchers, but nobody committing. Of all the sold listings, TWO people didn't pay. Unfortunately all I can do is open an un-paid case against them. I would rather post a nice negative feedback but it won't let me. Funny how eBay shuns the people that actually make them money, and it's "all about the buyer". Well, some buyers suck and the world needs to know.

Edit: Am I the only one on here that checks T-Hunted every day?

I'm neutral(no pun intended). It's frustrating, because yes, there are buyers who deserves negative feedback. Having said that, more than once, I couldn't leave anything less than a positive feedback, because I fully expected a retaliatory negative feedback. On TTP, it did happen. Seller put everything on sale, but when I tried to buy one, he ignored all my emails & finally after while claimed that the website failed him & it didn't put the car I wanted on "hold" from the sale. It was horse manure of an excuse. I left the negative feedback for not just failing to honor the price he advertised, but also for deciding to ignore my messages. He had the negative feedback retracted by TTP, then left me a neutral feedback. I had my feedback retracted as well, but I have no doubt in my mind that I didn't deserve a neutral, and the seller absolutely deserved a negative. Sorry, here I go again.

On somewhat related note, that CM's Celica with a busted up wheel, the seller contacted me on the day of the deadline. He request pic of the damage, I sent it to him. He apologized & promise to refund me when he got home, so I have decided to hold back the on the neutral/negative feedback, but was kind of disappointed in the seller for waiting until the last day allowed to respond to me.

I'm sorry to hear about your non-paying bidders. I hope they are just waiting to get the funds together to pay you. Did your 2015 Mustang sell yet? That was probably the only car that interested me, but it was too rich for my blood. I do realize that $80 shipped is actually a good deal.

P.S. Yes, we pay eBay with the fees, but from their perspective, customer service is in best interest of everyone involved.

If they don't have the funds, they shouldn't be bidding. End of story really. And if you do have the funds and are waiting for the auction to end so you can snipe bid, it won't hurt you to take another 30 seconds of your time to hit the "pay now" button.

Just gets frustrating. Good thing is there's always another bidder that missed out that's happy to see a second chance offer and that does pay right away.

Mustang has been relisted twice. I'm not dropping the price.
