Thank you all for the kind words. @Ken Koios is good guy that has to put up with a lot of crap (health issues, ****head teenagers and ME) I just try to make him smile. That's my job as a wife..should be the way it is for everyone.

Those M2s rock. Isn't that Ford truck awesome from the VW Hauler?(I have the same one). She has very good taste!

Thanks! I picked that one out of a few. I really liked it. Plus I know Ken likes the VW vans.

They are expensive, but if you buy a transport trailer, at least you are sort of paying for three units(or vehicles): Truck, vehicle & the trailer.

I agree, I don't buy many of them either. But when I do buy, they are irresistible. :D

They really are justifiable for $16.99 with getting 3 vehicles. I see more in Kens future :sly:

Yup. I lurk on this board mostly to find out which cars Ken needs or wants. I don't have a lot of input to offer though. I am just happy that he has found a hobby he is so passionate about and all of you to share the experience with :gtpflag:

Dang. I was about to introduce him to the dark side.... the side where the pit has no end. Guess I can't now.

Jokes. :P

Also, despite all this text-based replies, the '49 Mercury picture streak has not yet been broken. I realize that's nearly impossible to uphold, but who will be the first to break it I wonder?

Me right now

My 3rd day of new hot wheels this time at a different Walmart. It had a new dump bin of c and d case cars plus a few d case cars on the pegs.

Found the batman live Batmobile Austin mini van Brazilian charger and 15' f150. Also got image.jpg
The ferrari 599xx non super, 911, charger and esprit. The 599 was at the back of the bin and it was also on the bottom.

It looks delicious.
It's not on another Hawaiian vacation is it? :P
It happened once.......

It's still very fast thru customs in Japan & their postal service. It takes total of about two days from Japan to L.A. After that, it takes the L.A. Customs & USPS up to TWO WEEKS to transport it exactly one state over. :dunce:

My issue is that it said "Processed through sort facility" in Japan on the 26th, then nothing for like 8 days. Friday night it finally says "Processed through sort facility" in L.A.

I hear there are labor disputes at the docks in California so that could have been the issue with the lack of updates and also the reason Mattel is missing product in stores.

I know that the 599xx is the last hot wheels ferrari but should I keep it carded until I find another or should I open it if i don't find another?

Depend if you want it for yourself. If you want to cash in on it should its value ever soar, I'd keep it carded for the time being.

Also, thanks for breaking the Merc streak.

I don't think it's going to be the last casting. I think HW's just lost the rights to the larger models.

@RCKakashi14,

I'm now a jelly.

Jam/jelly is the same thing. I think one has seeds in it though.
In the US, the difference is really just how well they spread. Jam tends to spread better. I'm not a food expert so I'm not sure why this is. And Jello-O is well, Jell-O. :P

In any case, we could do this "US food terms vs. the world" all day.
