So say, if a car is 1 of 1,000, there will be a sticker on the bottom that reads "0348" if it's the 348th car made, etc.

Was not aware of that, handy tip. That Mustang looks superb in that colour by the way. Great stuff. 👍

Dump bin was 4 cases of E case cars! Got to stock them all. Saw beetle THs but no super mustang.

Bought the homer, P1, fiesta.

Regular boss, camaro, el camino.
And of course the beetle TH my 11th basic TH

I'll get some money out of my account tomorrow and will try and buy the rest of the normal cars.

Hot wheels hybrid hypercars

La ferrari, p1, and 918.

It's just this month's Top Gear, except it's smaller and done by Mattel! :dopey:

But jokes aside, are those any good? Just wondering, I haven't seen those before...

Dammit dude. I give. Little bit. :P

CM's Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 1992 Safari

CM's Subaru Legacy 1989 100,000km World Speed/Endurance Record Car

Two down, six more to go. :P

Hnnngh... Normally, I'd go straight for that Galant and steal it, but that Legacy just gave me that feeling before I could act on it. Not a TLV Legacy, but it is an unique car. Plus, that livery just makes it even better. Great stuff, as usual, a6.

I'm keeping this one. Ferrari 599XX from Hot Wheels Workshop

I don't think I've posted these. Rebel Rods '27 Miller & '69 Brawner Hawk

*sudden shortage of breath; grabs onto table to get balance*

That's too much to handle, sir. Are we going to get loose pics of those fantasy cars? I've wanted a closer look at the GT Hunter for about 2 weeks now...

My friend, do you want to hear a secret about that Legacy?

Got these two cars yesterday. Today I'll hopefully be going to TRU.

My jaw was closed until I saw the Mustang.

Didn't think the P1 was out yet. Definitely buying it once I see one.

If it wasn't for a certain Suzuki Kei car, I'd totally make one of those two my first online purchase when I could.

You fool! Don't tell him that, he'll never let go of the Legacy if he sees that... :scared:

Also, a
Vivio Safari
!?

*almost faints, tries to regroup himself* You are shi:censored:g me, man, you just have to. Chalk another one for the "dream purchase" list...

I'm a happy boy.
6 cars from Walmart
image.jpg image.jpg Then met a collector that told me about a hot wheels club at a building close to my house so I went to it. Sad thing is that most of the guys were packing up but one still had his cars out. Looked for a bit and this is what I got.

Bmw 850i and faf mustang, image.jpg
Nissan cutom Z and 1999 first editions Daytona :) and finally probably my best buy this year.

My first VW drag bus. All were $2 each.

Contact me again whenever you want more.

I don't remember you nickname here, but I might as well call you Dio Brando from now on, because you make me curse your existence in my life for tempting me with audacious offers. Curse you!

And now to lose minutes searching around the website and drooling over other cool models like Mazda Familias and so on. It doesn't help that I am currently taking a look at Japan Booster's Tomica list again. Why do I do this to myself?

Just gladly and easily dropped $100 worth of cars at TRU within the first ten minutes of being in the store.

EDIT: Receipt total is $105.93. Questioning my sanity.

Man. I was going to share the website I purchased the CM's from, but that storefront is gone! It was the Eighty's Shop in Hong Kong? I've bought from them on eBay before, and it was a good store. With my purchase, they struggled to fill it, as they were out of stock on some of the cars. I wonder if that was what killed their online store. :(

Thank you! I've yet to own a TLV Legacy, but that may change down the line.

That's why it was mo' money. I had my suspicion last night when I couldn't find the picture of the car on the box. I thought it was either a secret car, or they put it back in the wrong box.

That's a Drag Truck, not a Drag Bus. They look similar, but they are way different in collector value(ie online prices).

After not feeling up to posting the CM's cars, I was thinking that this may be my chance to pull out of this hobby........ Then I spent similar amount to yours on a few Kyoshos & one TLV. Oh, well. I guess I'm still in it.
I'll take it. Worth the wait, great scores both of those. Damn you.
One of the cars on the waiting list is the same Lancer 1600 you have. 👍

And now the cars. Three Tow n Hitch sets, one Motor World Camaro, one Smokey and the Bandit/Smokey and the Bandit II set and one HW P1. All but the P1 are Greenlights.

I passed on Smokey & Bandit set, but your Toys R Us actually got Hitch & Tow sets?
Quite surprisingly, they did.

There's a few cars poking into pics in my above post but aren't pictured. Those cars are now posted in the Scale Model Thread.

The bad thing about the club that I went to today is that they meet on the last day of each month.

Nice pickups there

Awesome. You won't disappointed with that one trust me. 👍

Digging the colour of Motor World Camaro, looks great on the GL flat bed trailer too. Nice grabs. 👍

We are bad people.

To give a better sense of context, I'm recording every diecast I purchase from now on. The item, the price (including taxes, shipping, etc), seller, location and a count on how many items purchased, sorted by months and years.

It's an eye-opener for me, and I'm using it as a psychological deterrent for further careless spending.

Took a quick look at it while inspecting for shipping damage. One of a kind 1/64 scale car. 👍.

It's a trial & error at the beginning, but you learn. I like your idea on recording purchases. It'd make collecting more interesting to me, almost like a journal(and I used to HATE journals lol).
