Today, you are a winner for spotting a red Hakosuka. I almost flipped myself over when I saw someone's 240Z at school.
I cheated because it was at a car show. Thankfully I didn't have to drive to Canada to see it. It had Ontario plates along with the Pulsar and R34.

OMG WHAT?

Well I actually shouldn't be reacting this much. We got car scenes here I don't even get involved in. Even if I owned a nice car, I probably wouldn't.

This was a end of the season show at Bell Isle.

Get wet, Mazda fans:

Mazda Dealership gift set

Was given away to lucky folks who visited the dealership in Japan for a test drive.

Speculated to have been produced by Oversteer, it indicates that castings of models other than the 3 and MX-5 exist and can probably see future releases.

But this dealership set alone will grab good cash right now on eBay.
Good excuse to go take the new MX-5 for a test drive. :mischievous:

Also, I'mma beat Kakash for the second time ever to the punch:

Ferrari 11 Minicar Collection! Out to the JPN public in December.

Suddenly I'm collecting Kyoshos again.... but I still ain't going to dish out $50 for the 458 Speciale. Maybe it may be worth the money to secure a case and sell everything else.

You know which cars I'm targeting, but I'm almost tempted to break the rule for the FXX Evos.

And this Karuwaza:

So creamed. I like how they put "Evoluzione" in parentheses as if it's not legit.

Now we just need to find the secret. Up for a race, @RCKakashi14?

Considering how the 458 Speciale in the past release is still at $20 Jauce and $50 eBay, I am seriously thinking about asking 829Japan to order a case for me for approx $260 shipped (including local, overseas and service charge).

I have a very good feeling I can make back almost every dollar spent if get selling ASAP, this time with tracking (esp if it's going across any ocean).

Again with the repeat castings, but at least they have FOUR new castings in the set this time around. (512BBi, 458 Speciale A, FXX Evo and 488 GTB)

However, with my recent huge loss of respect to Ferrari, I'd rather wait for the next Porsche set.

The fake Evoluzione and the Karuwaza counterpart (splendidly badass) are the main "boat floaters" for me, can't say that I'd overly eager to buy the rest. Ok, I lie, perhaps I'd get the 512 as well, but that's about it. At least it's nice to see Kyosho still working with Ferrari even after the "Bburago license SNAFU" that hampered both parties.

On a much better note, all those Oversteer Mazdas in my collection, please. Darn it Japan, at least make the offer a worldwide one! I know most of those castings have either been released before (2/Demio and CX-5) or are currently in development and are nearing release (MX-5). If you happen to live in Japan and/or know the right people, it's a great set to get your hands on, especially with all cars sharing that lovely "Soul Red" colour.
Also, no 6/Atenza wagon? Shame, Oversteer, shame...

Well, someone in this thread is going to Japan next year in time for cherry blossoms. Hopefully that person can score that MX-5.

You just had to remind us, didn't you? :sly:

Well, if you happen to know "that person", do you think he could send me a MX-5? Real car or its scale model, heck, why not both? I know this last sentence is meaningless and somewhat redundant, but hey, it's worth trying...

Ummmmm... sure. If, I see him.

Eh, saw that one coming from a mile away, haha.

If his trip next year does go ahead, and if he manages to sneak a ND model in his baggages on the way back home, at least ask him to share some pictures, alright? I'm sure that he'll understand that request...

Let's see, if I can meet him after I return from my HK trip a week after next. ;)

The Daytona Competizione and 512 BB. Everything else as great wheel donors.

I think it'd be worth saving up for Kyosho's 1:18 365 Competizione with all the livery stickers and stuff. That one is pretty good looking.

FXX Evo and 512BBi aren't new castings. Fortunately it's only 2 new ones.

Bought the GL Chrysler dealership several months ago, which turned out to be a mistake. Had several issues with headlights missing on some vehicles and paint errors. (Must have been taken off the line?) Found out the parts department at my dealership was selling them for $13 (Almost $14 with tax) with an employee discount. Going to sell the errors to a co-worker to use for his train set he's building.

So, uh, Greenlight will be releasing the Airstream trailer by itself.

And in other news:

So, after several combinations with it, the Airstream trailer is being released by itself... Well, it's definitely an uncommon practice within the scale model biz, but apparently there is a market for those, so Greenlight knows best I suppose.

Other that that, very nice Monte Carlo, and a Cruze as part of a "U.S. Army"-themed collection? A rather odd car choice for the military to use, but it will make for a rather unique patrol car is anything. Still, only the Monte really interests me in that set, as the casting looks well-executed and the color choice is right up my alley.

The Cruze is something that local recruitment offices would use to "get around". Seen a few of them locally. I am more interested in the Biscayne myself.

Edit 2: Didn't see the "Police" on the doors. Oops.

just ordered these new Tomica 1/64 GTR N Attack in Black and the Nur Camo

Reminds me, I forgot to pay Ami Ami for the black one. I'm sure my account is canceled now...

Edit: Scratch that, I have until the 20th to pay. :)

So it is a patrol car, I thought I was in the wrong for a second. But yes, other than that, the Cruze hardly has anything to make it truly special other than its decoration. I'd probably shift my focus towards the Biscayne as well, I am not exactly a 4x4 man to warrant the purchase of either the Bronco or the Wrangler. Nifty cars, but I'd still only buy the Biscayne. And of course, the non-US Army Monte Carlo SS... Especially with that 1980's ad-esque package design, a nice fitting touch.

That Greenlight Monte Looks lucious. We'll have to wait and see, but from that pic alone it looks like massive win.
