My finds for today. What you don't see posted is the HW Retro Entertainment Top Gun Kawasaki Ninja. All the basic mainline HWs are getting uncarded unless someone in here stops me because there's a really rare car in my haul.

The Montecarlo looks awesome, "hobby exclusive" it sounds that we will never have that edition in México, too bad. I´ll ask my personal Greenlight dealer for it, maybe with a little luck he can find it for me.

Also, I can´t wait for my TLV GTRs to arrive I´m counting the days.

I can see why would you keep that, Kakashi, such a model isn't necessarily a common sight in... well, just about anywhere. It's also a HW racing model that doesn't have the infamous "uplifting front splitter", which makes it even more attractive.

May I ask, what's the story behind that model? I can tell that it's an Oldsmobile IMSA racing car, but not much more than that...

It's actually a Riley & Scott Mk. III race car, with an Oldsmobile Aurora V8 powering it. While it did upstage Ferraris in its career, it was simply forgotten...

Ah, it's a Riley chassis, thanks for clarifying that one. The Oldsmobile logos are related to the (honestly brilliant) Aurora V8 unit, an engine which powered race-winning Indy Cars, speed record-beating concepts and of course that Ferrari LMP-beating Riley... I don't recall seeing many models of that LMP chassis, which is why I asked that question. Not many brands recreate those IMSA Prototypes, even American brands such as Hot Wheels... I do wonder why is that so, to be honest.

Never heard of that Riley & Scott release. I have a bunch of crummy ones. I'm taking them all apart for the wings, diffusers, and wheels as it would probably be more valuable for customs than reselling to a collector.

I just learnt something today

From the Hall of Fame series. I got it dirt cheap at around 7 USD.

I used to look for Hall of Fames. Surprisingly I don't think I've come across this one. Good choice to hang onto it.

Not quite 1/64. But close...enough? Was slightly interested in the F&F Jada series when it was announced. Didn't realize the R34 was the F&F2 car and the Supra came in bits where you'd have to buy every single car just to get one piece. :grumpy:

Still might get the Lykan....
