Those new wheels are going to be fantastic.

I want a piece of that Police Kenmeri (Keisatsu Kenmeri sounds like an awesome name, actually), and the Advan 510 Wagon looks even more desirable with those wheels. 👍
Unfortunately, it may also lead to these cars being cannibalized because of it, with people who work on custom cars hungry for fresh customizing material running around...

Oh, and the GT2 is simply gorgeous, but of course it has to be a HW special and therefore will probably cost roughly a pair of kidneys once its full production runs out. Such a shame, it's an actual good-looking HW...

I'd work many corners for one.

Such a shame that I'd literally have to for one, though.

I'd sell someone else's kidneys for the 993.

I knew you'd say that, really. But the 993 being a fancy-pants' HW (I mean, it even has a proper display case and not just the classic paper blister like the mainline HW cars!), you'd have to sell a hospital's whole set of donated kidneys to get one. It's easier with the 'Meri, I can just sell a pair and I'll be fine budget-wise. The 993 requires just too much hassle and bargaining to be bought properly, and I can imagine that such will happen when it's released...

I'd work many corners for one.

Such a shame that I'd literally have to for one, though.

And you'd still have to work beyond the corners just to afford it, imagine that.

Konami 1:64 - Mazda Cosmo Sport (L10B)

Comparing this to the Kyosho 1:64 model I also have, I can say that this Konami casting is better.

You're absolutely out of your mind. The Konami thing looks so cheap and awkward-proportioned it's like Rob Liefeld drew it.

I think looks are subjective. ;)

That's all I'm ever gonna say. I might as well not post here anymore...

And here I thought it's all about sharing. I think my preferences are being judged.

The problem is that I feel like I'm being restricted to what kind of 1:64 model should I post here. For one, I am now completely discouraged on posting regular Tomicas here.

You know what, I never questioned everyone's taste here, even if that's Hot Wheels. I have thought all along that this is all about sharing what we have, and it turns out that I'm feeling somewhat bullied here.

Just letting out what's in my chest right now.

I still post pics of my fantasy cars only one or two people I know care the slightest for.

Despite the clear disinterest, I like to continue because it's a way to show my dedication to support for made-up super cool car designs we'll never see on the road ever. It also does wonders maintaining the variety of interests we have here. As cool as a Datsun is, if it became an unspoken "rule" that nothing less than a Kyosho/TLV was socially accepted (within the community here), then we'd have our selves a very boring group of people. We'd have a lot of pics of top notch products, but it still wouldn't be the same.

Keep posting your Tomicas here if that's what you enjoy doing. You've got the biggest access and interest in them than we do. You can also keep us posted on future releases.

If you're passionate about Tomicas, a few discouraging words shouldn't be enough to stop you from enjoying a hobby. Also, let's put a stop on the looser words, Cano.

You can post whatever you want, really. Hell, I'm the one that's posted the absolute worse cars here because I like Playart, which is like the worse brand ever and ever, yet I'm still here, I still post them from time to time (no more pics to show that I've not shown before) and I'll take with humour whatever comment any of you have on them. Hell, I even did a Rob Liefeld joke. Just lighten up.

I don't question your preferences, so don't question mine. Simple as that.

Uh . . . .seriously. :( Easy, Kakashi. This thread wouldn't have the same class it has without your pics (not forgetting the others that do a great job, too.) It was your pics that were featured in the GTP News - so doesn't that tell you what the community feels?

Learn to smile sometimes when you come across an unhappy person on the internet - and realise you are smiling because you are happier.
If you are happy with your cars, and happy to show them off here - well, I, for one, am more than happy to check the thread for the latest news about Tomica, Kyosho, and all the other premium die-cast brands that are getting into the 1:64 market - a reason why the thread was renamed, too. ;)
I was one of the people who requested you post your pics in here than in the Art & Photography forum - and I will stand by that.
Thanks for posting. ;)

Hey, you're back! We missed you!

Yep I returned . I missed everyone here on GTP, especially this thread. How's it going RCK?

K day haul.

No supers, people did find regulars which were the Corvette I didn't/ couldn't find a regular Hudson. The only one I couldn't find either was the blue 15 challenger. Didn't have enough money to get the red DB5, and blue Urus. It was a B case.

Speaking of real world cars, the first car on the first left row, is that a Shelby GT350R 'Stang, the yellow and black striped car?

Or better yet can you tell me all of the cars' names, in every row? Some of them got my interest so I'll be on a lookout for them. Thanks.

Good reasons. :) 👍 To each their own.

Don't worry. I have some spare heart-attack pills.

Thanks photon, I will need them........ soon.

Man, that looks great. Quite tempted but I've already got a few things on order for this month already.

Really good to hear from you again mate. 👍

Likewise. 👍

After the purchase, I immediately noticed that the middle part of the front chrome bumper strip has a huge crack and was split into two. Hence, I snipped off that part. It now has a Dino 246-ish front end...

Dang that Cosmo looks great, very detailed casting. good find.

Seriously?! Man, can you give me a link or what to google/bing on? I gotta see this, but I know that I need to learn Japanese now, this is another message for me.

It's actually quite complicated, especially in the Euro and American plates. But if you need help, let me know.
Thanks I'll look at the site later.

Oh, for the earlier photo, it looks like the 350R, but it looks good, like a boss s550. And HW made a Jag F-Type?! Okay, now I'm on the lookout.
I know it's done and dusted, but I'd just like to add my opinion on the earlier 'drama' in the thread (because internet is serious business ;) ). A lot of opinions on how good or bad certain castings or buys are get thrown around in this thread, but I don't think anyone here doesn't want these things to get posted. I know that while I might never buy any of the imaginary Hot Wheels cars AOS posts I can still appreciate them. Sometimes I find a casting I actually quite like that I may never have considered before. Same with all of the JDM that gets posted. It's not what I collect, but I still appreciate it.
So please don't confuse an opinion with condemnation. It'd be a shame if this thread gradually became less diverse due to misunderstandings.
