The scooter is the jewel in that crown. đź‘Ť How did you get it? It also looks - spotted? Dust? From the various colours we have of the HWs seems like the variations are spread out geographically, eh? I have never seen those yellow Beemers and Ducatis over here, or maybe I just missed them.
I don't shop often - maybe once a month.
I have these, however - which you don't have.

I love the Ducatis because I get to ride the virtual versions in TDU2 - as I mentioned a few times in here ;) my diecasts and driving games are strongly tied together. So I lay out all the Ducatis in front of the console and then play. :lol:

Here's some of the bikes I have that are still in their packages. Duplicates will be left packaged and the rest opened but some singles will stay in packages.

Nice Beetle. GL has some nice new Beetles, too.
If you read back in this thread at any time - you may have caught a post by a collector in here who used to collect only Volks - he had a room festooned with Beetles and Kombi vans of all kinds - probably around Post#50 - thousands of Beetles. :crazy:

I have about 20. Not enough. :irked::lol:

@Gotbeefboy564 - To whom has he willed the rest of his collection? :lol:
Older relatives and friends who have lost interest in their collections are goldmines. And, of course, being older and probably having being collectors for long, would have lots of gems.
Here's a few more of my bikes in packages (though I'd trade quite a few for that Lambretta) :

Interesting to see how that Toyota 86 looks too. And nice to see the Daihatsu cast in the regular Tomica lineup, definitely looking at ordering that one.

Only I would go to the dollar store to buy some bubble wrap and think, "hmm, maybe I should check the Hot Wheels" and come home with a $uper '65 Chevy Impala. :P

First peg I checked, 2nd car back. Card is bent though.

Bought zero cars for January. I'm off to such a great start that I would break that trend on the 1st of February with two additions, the first buy of 2016:

If I may be honest, I don't know if this Fast Fish really originates from the 2015 Turbo Haulers set. It was certainly the first time seeing it in a box of 5 with a truck, but HW Wikia says there has been a similar previous incarnation: "2013 Workshop - Car Design Custom Kit"...

...where the major differences are the wing no longer being a separate plastic piece, and the other being a camera was used in place of an analog phone.

Anyway, can't say I'm certain how official I should make it, but for the time being I'll treat it as the Turbo Haulers.

Then there's this:

2015 Adventure City Tesla Model S

Had no plans on looking for one on eBay or in stores, but I was visiting a Walmart I've never been to and to my luck I picked up the two only Teslas there.

And no... not even just one ABARTH?! :mad:

No Abarth is easily offset by that fabulous pink 500, it's like Barbie had a say in the car choice process within Kyosho. You can't argue with that gorgeous pink body... :sly: (Actually you can, I'm just kidding. Not even a 695 Biposto? You know, an unique Abarth variation?)

Found out that the store had restocked those wonderful D1 castings. The best thing is that the price remains the same after 10 years they first hit the store.

Holy Keiichi Tsuchiya, that's a very nice group of cars. Yes, as Andy stated with his own picture, the taillights are painted and the rims aren't good-looking, but you won't find many brands creating scale models of those D1 "Golden Era" cars anyways, so those cars that Kakashi shared are your best bet. And when (somehow) prices haven't been raised after all these years, why not take the plunge and get a few?

Speaking of which, how much do they go for these days?

Two-tone Prairies make me happy, and your two-tone Prairies make me both happy and jelly. Lucky sod :lol:

But joke aside, those TLV Nissans look rather nice; I know for a start that Shinji (cough @a6m5 cough) will love them because no metallic flakes in the paint, and I like them because I'm a sucker for square 1980's MPVs. Much like Jarrod and Andy, I also prefer the black and red two-tone paintjob, mainly because the contrast between the two works better than the silver/blue combo, no to mention that it looks equally nice in combination with that fake wood strip across the rear. Nifty Prairies are nifty, indeed... đź‘Ť

I still want a 500 Abarth. Or even a 1000 TCR.

And speaking of those D1 cars, the rest now have plastic head and tail light covers. Only the red HKS S15 has the painted ones. I bought the green Kei-Office S15 (Tsuchiya race suit color, why not?) today.

Those models still cost 6 USD each...

Hmm, fair enough, classic Abarth models are also under-represented in most 1/64 lineups. An Abarth with a raised hood at the rear, showcasing the entire engine bay... Done right, it would be a lovely model to have.

Well that's certainly odd, then. Why is it that a former D1 champion Silvia lacks plastic taillights, yet all the other Silvias have them? That's not consistent...

Also, 6 bucks, eh? Not bad indeed, that's roughly 5 Euros in my neck of the woods. Still a bit costly, but not as costly as, say, a TLV model.

Edit: And 'tis is the Hot Wheels Honda Odyssey, as shown by Lamley;

Any thoughts on this? I must say, I'm digging the paintjob...
