The latest Kyosho boxset is...

And no... not even just one ABARTH?!

Least amount of casting variety yet!

Would be a hit if the Karuwaza was a Lupin 3rd look-alike... or even if they stepped back from "500s only" to all Fiats. That way, we could get plain body 131s. (nods head)

I LOVE it. I'd also want the Swagger Wagon though.

I love the current gen Siennas.

Give that a TRD paint job, change the color while you're at it and put it in a different set of rims, and you'd have a winner. 👍
Then again, HW does tend to create many cars which mimick DUB style cars, so I dunno...

That "novo modelo" clearly shows that T-Hunted is a proper Portuguese website, that's for sure. Or, in this case, a Brazillian Portuguese website...

Either way, interesting set of cars; the E30 is a fresh twist on an old concept (Polizei Beemer), and the new 964 casting is definitely something to look out for. Still not sure if gold rims are the best choice for the Golf MK.7, but only time will answer my doubts regarding that. The track day Bluebird and the BRAT are also other cars that I'll have my eye on...

i have some Hotwheels, but i will start to collect some Kyosho... they seems so cool in details, here in Italy they aren't sold... too bad.

E30, 993, 510 and maybe a 964.

pallaszg via eBay is based in Croatia. He has a small selection of Kyoshos and CM's.

Want them all, are these gonna be $1 or $3-$5 cars?

Stopped by Walmart this morning to get a money order to pay rent, swung by the toys and they had put some new E case stuff in the big metal dump bin. Picked up a few including the Raptor and 180SX.

Also, got one of these in the mail:

Got these at my local Smyths. I'm a casual collecter. Are the Beemer set a 'thing'? I see they are of 8.

I later did some shopping in ASDA and saw a Z4 GT3 and E30 TC, I would of had those over the M1 and E36. I'm a sucker for HW race cars, that's where the collection is veering. I've seen the whole set now, with the 2002 also.

Remember my previous post showing you guys with a teaser pic of my CM Model McLaren P1? I doubt any of you do. :P

Anyway, I finally managed to spare some time to take and upload the pics, and that's why I am writing this post. The sole reason I bought this car was because it was cheap, and I'm saying this as I got this car for a bargain of 40 HKD (~5 USD), with an intact one costing as much as 85 HKD. There is one drawback of buying this model car at such a low price, however, and it comes in the form of a broken side mirror on the right. It was easily fixed with some CA cement though, despite the results not looking as good as an intact one. There was also a tiny red spot on one of its wheel arches, but that's it. The car comes with brake discs and calipers. I can't fathom why people rush to buy the Kyosho version, which comes with fewer details and a much higher cost, when there is actually a cheaper alternative that's way better available. Here's the pics:

The car with the acrylic case:

A woody wagon? Lamley will love that, considering that his current blog header picture also represents a woddy wagon...

Dunno anything about the movie/TV series where that "truckster" (haha) comes from, but it looks rather nifty. Still, I want pictures of that darn Breaking Bad Aztek, Greenlight! (I can't believe I'm saying this...)

Also, I do remember that P1, @GT HP Nut, I did confuse it with a TSM Models car after all due to its packaging. :sly: Also, perhaps CM's lack of image may be behind its lesser sales numbers in comparison with the far more mediatic Kyosho. Just my five cents on the matter, as I also agree that the casting itself looks as good, if not better, than Kyosho's while offering a slightly cheaper price. Perhaps when CM gains more mediatic exposure, we could see a new contender for the Mclaren 1/64 crown...

You haven't seen National Lampoons Vacation? Dude... :P

Oi, it's not my fault that most of Portugal's great exportations from America regarding TV shows reached their peak in the early 90's... I still have fonder memories of "Naked Gun" and "Police Academy" than say, current shows like "Bad Girls Club" (urgh my brain cells). :P

Edit: Also from T-Hunted:

This Terrain Storm thing looks neat.

BatchH0016.jpg

Hmm, those rims in the NSX look rather nice, I have to say. Are they some sort of new-for-2016 rims, or something that already exists within the HW line? Either way, I dig it, and it'll probably be the highlight of those pictures you shared. Although that Terrain Storm car is also quite neat, it has that "futuristic Baja truck" feel to it.

And what about the splitter in that Fiesta? Is that the adjustable splitter than you loathe so much, or rather Mattel's "classic" uplifting chin?

Hopefully not.

"Don't fix what's not broken", right? Well, I can understand that, since you believe that HW cars should either have a fixed down splitter or a lifted one, with no "mid compromise" solution between them... But let's give Mattel the benefit of the doubt for now, before jumping to conclusions too quickly, ok?
