I stopped at my local Walmart on the way home tonight to see if there was anything new and found the Nissan Titan from that new truck series. (still no Datsun...) When I went to check out, the register I was in line for shut down so they shifted us to another one. I told the people behind me to go ahead, I'll just go through the self checkout. As I'm walking over there I stumble upon some 3-packs and found one with the new blue FRS and the matte blue '52 Chevy pickup. If I hadn't decided to go over there I would have missed it.

/boring story. :P

You'd love it here, one of the local Walmarts was filled to the brim with the truck series. Half of them were the Datsuns.

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but that doesn't impress me at all. My store had countless Datsuns, and I got mine today.

Of course, it took a few days, you know? I think it also cost me over $7, but we don't have sales tax here, so you probably paid almost as much as I did. You didn't? Okay. :(

No bubble bursted, I just found it...interesting that my local Walmart decided to dump a load of the truck series. They have a random section just for the trucks and the normal Hot Wheels pegs are 95% filled with the trucks. Barely any of the regular mainline stuff.

Got these new matchboxes at Walmart

The stores around here haven't bothered updating Matchbox. Want the Cherokee..... Heck, I haven't even seen the red Tesla Model S.

It had been a REAL FREAKING WHILE since I last landed a mexican Hot Wheels in good condition.

This minty thing was all of a buck. I was as happy as can be.

There were two Mexico-exclusive colors for this thing, black and tan. Both are rare and hard to find in decent shape.

Check out how good this thing is. This is an easy $50 car.

Dang, dude. I can't get over how clean that thing is considering the age + price. Nice find! 👍

I stop by today, to share this scummy Amazon deal. :yuck:

Seasoned collectors here would be able to tell what it really is within few seconds or less. How do they sleep at night?

Here's my Kyosho, provided by SCBA(Special Canuck Broker Andy :embarrassed:), versus UCC Coffee car:

Worth every peny. My lord that is awesome-looking. Next entry on your blog or I'll indeed lay it on you.
I was excited before. I'm more excited with you on board. :embarrassed:
Hey we both visit the same store! What are the chances?
You too far away! How is this possiburu!?

I would've fell for it. It's like those other scumbags that write "CM's yada yada Not a Kyosho" just to score search hits.

Yay! Finally managed to find the HW's Kaido House, Nissan Fairlady ZG. :)
Counted 7 in total. purchased 2, left the rest behind for other collectors.

I'm surprised at how small the cast is, It's very close to true 1/64.

Except this seller don't even give you the "courtesy"(sarcasm) of "Not". "It's OEM - Kyosho, bro!", it's neither.

Good point about scaling. Now that you mention it, it is rather compact.

Out of several hot wheels I've displayed at work, it's been one of the biggest attention getter. Me, I think it's nice, but I much preferred the 180SX, or Supra(red) from few months ago.
I'm just as confused as you are. :dopey:
You win. I am speechress.

Found these today.
At a Walmart I found this classic 5 pack

Hummer h2 and a R34.
