I have a R91C and R92C I could let go of for less than that. Hungry by any chance?

At any other time, maybe. But I've got quite a few things happening, including a trip to Bathurst over the next couple of months, trying to save some cash for that.

Appreciate the offer though.

This town is also upside down isn't it Jarrod?

I was feeling pretty lucky until I came on here & saw this. As I was picking out my cars, I was even thinking about you, because I was using the "Jason Miller" method. Picking out the cars with best tampo application.

At the start: Euro Style bored me, but I do like the Bimmer. Porsche was "meh", but I got one anyway. 2002 Zamac? Yes. Same with the Escort.

Some young mom was ransacking the dump bin. Nothing wrong with that, it was already @#%# up, but felt sorry for the toddler on the cart. She must've been bored to death waiting. Anywho, I didn't bother with the dump bin initially, but when I came back around, look @Johnny1996 ! I found one! Picked up couple more for my de nehews. Just one Honda Gorilla/Monkey, of course for moi.

From earlier in the week. I was sure I was going to get this, but I looked at it like twice & just wasn't feeling it.

Yee. Just secured the two best Kyosho Trofeo Huracans. We'll see something in August.

That's cool. These guys are only sitting on the shelf, so whenever you're feeling the urge, come talk to me. I'm sure I've got more than just one or two cars you'd like to have.

Poundland is a decent UK source for finding older releases. Picked up the MBX F-Type and could've got countless more and HW if I had the spare change.

Decided to shoot my modest collection. There's a couple missing, but it's growing bigger most weeks at the minute.

So my latest TLV DIY kit has arrived

Oh man, even though it did come with a DIY rear wing too. I'm really glad I went with the mobile investigation vesion over that one. Ridiculous.

Which moderator was it again that was interested in posting these on the news page?

I'd love to get all five of these cars, they would really sit well in my collection. Finding them is another story, as it always is, but I might get lucky. Love the packaging

Back of the box. OMG. WTF.

You two don't ever change.

These so rarely have a BIN
Not so, I see one for $400 or more all the time. :dopey:  Congrats! "Idemitsu" charm is hard to resist. You might've read in my post, but I've missed mine after I sold mine. First one I bought was $80+. Good thing it sold for $160-ish, shipped(new one $150.01, shipped). I used to think that $80 was pretty steep.

I'm here for you if you need any assistance with the parts.

Guys, any tips on how to remove tampos from Hot Wheels? I know acetone works but I haven't found any easily here. Just like you can't refill a meth injection system without special permission....

Just got the Porsches from the Euro Style set but I don't want those :censored:ing idiotic "Urban Hipster" tampos. Minimus Walker, now ruining your 1:64 Porsches as well :banghead:.

@AOS- knows, but he might tell you to search the thread. :P
Would you say the Tomica has the proportions more accurate?
I would say that Matchbox wins in that criteria.
I'm going to disagree and say the Tomica has better proportions. Just need to ditch those crappy rollers.
I haven't even seen the new Miata/Roadster in real life yet, but to me, it looks like Tomica has better proportion & detailing(tampo/paint whatever), but Matchbox has more accurate curves to the casting?

I was just debating if I was going to give mine to my nephew, or I should keep it as future wheelswap donor.

Are we talking about the same car? Because if we do, then yes, the quality is a bit of a letdown compared to the Japan Historics series. Real Riders tyres are always awesome and they look Fuchs-y so the wheels make a good candidate for a wheel swap. The cast is good but the decoration is pretty underwhelming, even when embellished by taking out those stupid hipster decals. However, for what I paid for them here in the third world...I'd rather keep them intact .

I just hope the GT series and the Track Day series are much better.

Same car. I picked it up, but only because I hadn't bought much Mattel cars lately. Polizei BMW's a keepr though.
Have to say that the GL Hitch & Tow racing edition series looks pretty damn awesome. Particularly liking the look of the Mopar and Shell sets.
If I was to buy, it'd be the Gulf Ford & Firestone GT-R. Chevy may win me over, I don't know.
