@GroupB - I can't remember if I asked you before, but would you be interested in creating a little post for Part II of this feature? It would be such a treat for me to be able to feature your first TLV in the upcoming post. Edit: Any TLV collectors who haven't been featured yet are welcome!

Sure, but I'll have to do some thinking as to what the car was. I originally got into TLV around 2007-08, built a small collection, then got disillusioned for some reason and sold it all off. Got back in around 2011 and here we are.

Have to say that the GL Hitch & Tow racing edition series looks pretty damn awesome. Particularly liking the look of the Mopar and Shell sets.

🤬 it, Greenlight! My wallet can't take such a big hit! In Colombian pesos that set is gonna REALLY cost me...but I want it so bad! And I still haven't got the money for the GT and Forza set....or the Track Day Culture set.

Sometimes I wish I had become a heroin addict instead of a car addict. Between my project car and my 1:64 feed...sheesh...

Not sure if you guys know, but US Toys R Us stores have the Car Culture series. Found the majority of the Euro Style set, except for the MK7 Golf.

Unlike that lie about Japan Historics being sold in retail stores(j/k), My Walmart got like 4 of everything in the Euro series, including the blue Golf. Unfortunately for me, Polizei Bimmer's the only one that interested me. My luck. I can't wait to uncard the Bimmer though.

Also found some of the HW garage series I got 6/10 only ones that were left on the pegs

Made a good guess stopping by Walamrt after work.

There was a deep bin to go through, didn't want to pull up a shopping cart, but was willing to get my arm in there for random pulls. Let's just say I was rewarded for my determination. Finally got something I've been wanting for some time. Feel free to guess away. I picked up 4 cars today, but only one was the show stopper.

That is true, I'm one of the few left here who venture into the fake car world.

But I guess I'll drop hint #2 just to cut down the possibilities by 3 and a half miles:

I still stand by what I said. Not a good job imo. I like old Japanese cars but I think HW is flogging the whole JDM theme a bit much.

Why not make a Honda City? Lol.

I was hoping to finally find one in a fresh bin of 200 cars, and it really happened. I could've kept digging for a GT350R, but it might be a cooler decision to just wait a week or two for grannies and housewives to clean off the top half for their kids.

Overall form/shape could be better, but I think it looks alright. I'd rather see Honda Civic, but that car have nearly zero following in the U.S.

That's where I've been, at least locally. After putting so much effort into trying to find the Japan Historics & coming up absolutely empty. With both them & GreenLight experiencing poor distribution in my area, most my purchases are being converted into yen.

It's so funny how these things work out. I've been seeing the new Acura regularly since I got mine back in late May. I just saw it as I left work, because we now have a Hot Wheels box of sorts on the seasonal aisle. I picked up two White CSLs, the blue Shelby GT350 and the red Mini van. What a sweet little casting that is.
