Just checked the Mail today!!!!!
(I think)Jason told us to check Walgreens for those. I've been putting it off, but after this post, I decided to check couple of stores nearby. What I found was shocking.
I was copying lines from those stupid links that tries to get you to click on them.

Anyway, I found the $1 Gran Turismo cars instead. Second store I think had the complete series.

The End. I guess mine'll have to come from online as well.

A Karuwaza.
A thing of beauty.

I just want the damn XJ220.

Only single GT series car I have found here jn Melbourne was a lone Gallardo with a completely wrecked card. So I didn't get it.

It is a nice casting. I was going through the pegs going "pass, pass, pass...", but I had to get that one(really nice in person). Ford GT & R32, I wanted another to keep carded & also spare(s) as potential sale bait down the line.

I effin hate how bad scalping is here in Aus.
Yes the USA has like over 10x our population but you'd probably get over 20x as much stock as we do.

So anything that comes here is VHTF naturally and nigh impossible with scalpers. And Australia is closer to where they're made :/

Since I posted the recent 1:43 scale cars I bought in the other thread, here are 1:64's :)

GT's, old DTM and a freebie!

PS - Sorry about the terrible quality clips... :nervous:

Im not sure that second series are even out in stores as I got mine from an Ebay hotwheels distributor/whole seller.

I saw that. The second store I stopped by did have the tag on the peg(I think it said $4.49), but no new Gran Turismo cars(w/rubber tires). I must've been too early, or too late.

Scalpers are only part of the problem. You also have tons of collectors(some of them hoarders) + everyday consumers.

Almost went after same Alfa on eBay. Sweet looking car. I did get couple of the same castings, just different livery(Jagermeister, also plain red w/black rims).

OMG THAT BIANTE CAR! I thought they stopped making 1:64 scale cars! If they are going to start making them again, I will go beserk. I also love the Alfa Romeo, it's awesome!

They have the two 2015 HRT Test Day Cars (Black) and the '97 Retro lovery they ran in 1:64 at the moment.

Hopefully they expand on it, but I doubt that it would happen anytime soon.

I wish Greenlight were more numerous here. Out of all the brands I've seen, I think they appear to be the most wholesome castings. I just can't justify paying £7 upwards with postage on top. The Focus ST in particular is often listed around £15 and for a fiver more you can get the Minichamps 1:43rd.

The only GL I have is the Bullitt car crash set. The models look great.

Can't find myself into many GLs. Only on occasion do some look REALLY good. Minichamps on the other hand.... Those are good.

Augusts haul. MBX everywhere over here in southern UK. Land Rovers clogging up the pegs in singles and fives but no Defender found yet.

Is the Cobra Concept a rear wheel error? EDIT: seemingly not.

Worst one out of the pack either way, the other four are stupendous!

IMO, they've grown too fast. We used to talk a lot about the poor quality control of M2 Machines in this thread. By my personal experience, GreenLight is now as horrible as M2, when M2 hit their rock bottom. GreenLight, at least to me, they used to have tight, precise detailing & quality assembly(like your diorama). These days, I sometimes get cars with sloppy looking parts & detailing, poor paint job. Assemblers sometimes leave a scuff, or fingerprints.

M2, I don't know if it's just me, or that they recognized the problems & fixed it, but I haven't had any issues with their cars in a long time.

I hope I run into those. Nice five car set! I really should get that. I've been running into it, like every other week for months. :P
How good is the base metallic colour on the 2000gt? So glad I got one.
I didn't see a single car from that series. Hot Wheels selection sucks in my neighborhood. I could've probably gotten five each of every Star Wars & other garbage series though. :(

Found these at a Walmart in detroit

Camaro and challenger garage series. Was surprised to see the white 911 from the euro style series I almost missed it. And the 300 and Infiniti from matchbox.

I checked those cars out on the website, I can't believe it! I don't care whether they'll expand or not; the fact that they are available is awesome. I will be hunting them down at Sandown on Saturday.

Leave some for me :P (going on Sunday)

I had a mad shift at work today, so I cheered myself up a little bit by buying the MBX Alfa 4C. Not the best proportions, but it'll do until I find the Majorette Spider.

Should just wait for the Majorette then.

I received a Kyosho Alfa today. I could not believe the high quality, especially considering the 470-yen price tag on the (blind)box...... 470-yen? I check the box, box says 2008. They had cars like this back in 2008!? For under $5!?
I can't recall seeing that grey crown vic on the show (My memory is pretty bad at those kind of things though lol). Looks good!
I don't either, but as you know, my memory's worse.
