Fantastic comparison. 👍👍 I wish you'd let me post that on my blog, @RCKakashi14 :embarrassed:

I just posted this one:

Kyosho didn't let me down. I have a soft spot for this car, and I waited for the exact version I wanted. The wait was totally worth it!
Damn Daniel... Sensational colour bro! I have the standard Lotus Europa in British Racing Green and it's a lovely car.

We may need to start a "1/64 Model Trading" thread soon, seems that people are selling plenty of their own cars as of late... Imagine all the money that could flow through such a thread! :sly:

Joke aside, I brought something with me from my visit to the Autoclássico 2016 yesterday. At first, I was planning to make said something Greenlight's Family Truckster, but in the end something else swayed me into buying this little muscle;

It's the Barrett-Jackson COPO Chevelle! My second GL purchase (can't say it's my second GL car because my first purchase came with four cars ), and one which I'm very happy with. As a Chevrolet fan, I just couldn't resist the allure of a rare bird in a more affordable form. 11 dollars still beats having to spend $275k in my book...
The car isn't without its issues, sadly; the stripe paint loses some consistency near the front of the car, and the darn bonnet could use an easier way to open it which doesn't involve picking at the tiny panel gap with a toothpick. Also, the blister could learn something from Siku, because I was quite concerned with damaging it to get the car out. In the end, my father cut some of the plastic edges to make it open like a book so that I could do just that... Not elegant, but it works.

One last thing; sorry, Family Truckster fans, your legendary whip hasn't found its way into my garage just yet. It couldn't overcome the combination of old muscle car and Bow-Ties. Maybe next year...? :P

Finally got round to taking pics of the Kyoshos I don't really want anymore.
Is anyone interested?
I live in Melbourne Australia, keep that in mind for postage.

Cheers.

I'll give you $20 for the Bentley Continental GT3. If mum lets me buy it off you, that is.

Love this dark green, @Niku Driver HC

Glad to know you like it, seems that not many here cared about it... Sorry if I'm sounding negative towards that, but I don't see many responses about it, it's as if the car was simply ignored. Did I do something in the post for that to happen? I would like to know if that's the case...

You guys would be amazed with the stuff that's on sale here in Thailand at the mall. I really wish I could help you out because I see these cars all the time, stuff that you post about wanting, but just don't have the capacity to buy and ship them.

I get the feeling that there are very few people here (in Thai) that collect the Hot wheels small cars because they're everywhere for such a low price.

Pics are a bit dark lol.

And I don't see why you need to say that. I just don't think they're that dark, and besides, no one else complained about that. I'm just wondering, that's all.

Well, if you want your post to stand out more then I'd suggest maybe reformatting it and future posts so you have one, or several, larger images showing off the car. Right now you have 3 images side-by-side, which means they're fairly small. This isn't necessarily bad, it's quite handy since it makes the thread less cluttered. But for someone like me, the post just doesn't stand out since I usually just glance through new posts and quickly see if something catches my eye.
Also, it'd help a lot if you used a backdrop. Just a piece of paper would work fine.

This is why I, for example, notice pretty much every one of @AOS-'s nicely formatted posts, but missed your Greenlight one.

Just my 2 cents.

Well the images were put in thumbnail format, but you can click on them to see them in a larger size. I did that becuse since I posted six pictures, I thought posting all of them in the original size would slow the thread's loading times too much and cause people to ignore the post altogether. Hence my choice to upload them in thumbnail form, but you can still see them in a larger size if need be. Perhaps it wasn't the right choice, given the way they turned to be.

Also, if you saw older pictures of mine, you can notice I was trying to set up a white background (with a paper sheet under the cars and a book coupled with a white hard cover behidn them) for them. The issue was that the place where I usually do that was cluttered with clothing my mother was going to iron, therefore preventing me from having an evenly-leveled base to take the shots for the Chevelle. Again, perhaps it was possible to use the background technique I usually do, but I felt the table where the car was didn't have the proper space for it.

But thanks for sharing your 2 cents on the matter, I'm thankful for that. Explaining opinions and reasoning for said opinions in an understanding way is something I value in other people's criticisms.

I don't think you did anything wrong. I just don't have a genuine interest in Greenlights.
