I stopped by Walmart doing lunch today. I passed stopping by there Monday & it was a big mistake. I likely missed out on the Toyota/Falken $uper Treasure Hunt. :(

I got the one regular Falken truck for myself, also that Beetle/Kafer MOMO race car(awesome!). Porsche 934 Turbo's very cool, I might keep it. Also deciding if I should keep the yellow Miata. Much cooler car than expected. Bought extra VW Kafer to my coworker & rest are for my de nephews for some track racing.

I don't know who this is!!
And here's why the escape was so lucky. Contents were undamaged:
Congrats!! 👍
What the hell did they do, stomp on it?
Squished it with something, probably cages, carts, maybe something heavier!
Yeah but what are they using as cushioning and is it dense enough? You can have a 6" crumple zone, but if the packing is so loose or soft, or if the box isnt structurally rigid to begin with, there is a good chance it will dent even if they accidentally put a slightly heavy box on top on the truck
Sometimes, if the packing is too tight or rigid, I think it could also defeat the design of the crumple zone & damage the item. I always try to find the happy middle. I've sold countless items on eBay, but yet to have damaged shipment. I also package expecting somebody to throw the box around. To survive what @GroupB box went though, I think it would require certain amount of luck to go with the good packaging.

Started going through some cars tonight and found another $TH I forgot I had (Toyota AE86) as well as a lot of old Mopar.

I'm still not halfway done but it's already looking like in going to have to be a lot more strict with myself on what I'm keeping. Oh god. :scared:

They are a bit higher percentage-wise, but there are no gimmicks like the Buyee "plans"

I can't comment on Buyee's plans as I've never used them, but I can understand why'd they be a bit more important for you now.

When I first saw it, I originally thought that GroupB's transporters must have gone through L.A. It looks like the parcel's you normally get! :dopey:

Sorry.

The ae86 was my first super, I got it at a Walgreens.

Disappointed in the recolours for the Focus RS and MX5. Would've been better with new sponsors and designs.

This is going to be a great year for road car models. I'm especially looking forward to the i3, Golf Country and the RX7.

Usually it's not bad. That Classic Edition Nintendo thing was bad. They even soaked it in water, which never happens with my Tomicas, but of course they'd save that for my Nintendo. :(
You remember this?
What did you do to it again?
Fancy an SW20?
Nope. But I just preordered this!

Not the special introductory white(sold out :(), but the blue truck.

2000GT & the Fit looks great, but I don't do store exclusives($$$). Are these Tomica Premiums the Tomica Limited castings? Datsun truck looks really familiar amirite.

The bonnet grill is missing on the Premium. And the fuel door cover doesn't look to be there either.
It's bit hard to tell, because both picture are kinda small. The cowl area grill might still be there on the Tomica Premium, but not painted in & I think the fuel door might also be there, too? It's hard to see. Overall, two releases look awfully similar though, like they just recycled the Tomica Limited casting. I don't know about the other two, but Mazda Cosmo also looks like something straight out of the Tomica Limited series.

Here's the discontinued "Tomica Limited version" & the new Tomica Premium:

I wasn't aware that there was ever a Datsun Truck in the TL line. Too cool! Do want the Premium version but no doubt it will sell out as soon as AmiAmi puts the listing up.
