So I was told by my mom I could add some things to her cart on Amazon, so I did! (I don't actually have one myself, for good reason too)

Another Ford Sierra. Love this casting, had a blast customizing my last one and I decided that one just wasn't enough. So I got another to customize! :D

Corgi/Hot Wheels Auto City Porsche 935. Wanted one of these for quite a while now and I am thinking about buying another for a wheel swap. Been wanting to do a wheel swap on this one for years because if any castings deserve it, it's the Auto City castings.

I'll have more pictures of the Porsche sometime soon. I may even compare it to the Hot Wheels variant. Hopefully when my 24th birthday comes around, I may have a huge shopping spree with the Auto City series and hopefully get a bunch more.

On Spaceboat's Honda S600 &/vs Mazda Cosmo, I like both about the same. Both looks awesome. 👍
What's not right, Bonsai-jiisan? The "making history" bit...? Just wondering, that's all.
I'd be surprised if Andy didn't already have one in his collection!

How were the prices on stuff like that? Pretty competitive?

The Sierra was $0.01 with $4.99 shipping and the Porsche was $13 with free shipping. (Yea I know it's a little steep) I have only the seen the Sierra once in the wild and that was back in 2011, it's tough to find for me. The whole Auto City series is something I have never seen anywhere except online.

IMO the Honda looks way cooler and detailed haha.

But....but the Mazda's bonnet opens!

Seriously the Honda really surprised me with how detailed it is for a slightly older release*. It's really nice. 👍

*2012. Okay, so it's not that old.
The Cosmo has a detailed engine bay, but the color looks... I dunno, strange. Perhaps it's a lighting thing, perhaps it's not, but I feel the color not as white as it's supposed to be.

Yeah, the colour of the Mazda really caught me out when @domalorite posted his pics of it. It's more a cream colour, sort of? It's funny because you look at the artwork on each of the boxes and the Mazda is white and the Honda is cream? Yet the actual models are the exact opposite? It's weird.

Serious Canadian Andy? Are you sure, jii-san...? Somehow I'm doubtful...

Precisely! That's exactly what's on my mind about these two. Perhaps the marketing department and the manufacturing department were having a lover's spat or something of the sort...?

Whatever it might be, I just hope it stays away from the Gazelle and the 787B...

2012 is a lifetime in terms of TLV and Kyosho quality lol

Well decided to make some photos of the Hot Wheels/Corgi Porsche 935. While they aren't great pictures, I can't find very many showing the a good view of the front and back of the car. All I ever see on Amazon and Ebay are shots of the side and I didn't even know what was on the hood until I actually got it.

My dad recently installed some new light bulbs in my basement and it's affecting the lighting in my photos, which is why these don't look as good.

I just blogged @GroupB 's green chrome TLV Nissan Wrecker. As a fan of TLV cars, it was quite an privilege for me to share this on the blog. Thank you so much GB for the pics & letting me use them!!:bowdown:

I forgot how those cars were limited to just one hundred. It doesn't get much rarer than that!
Very fair point.👍

That was my first thought too. Couldn't believe how fast it arrived.
I'm gonna check mine....

Wow, I'd never have guessed. It's in L.A. 💡:ouch:

It looks good. Fine angles, too. 👍

As is typical of TLV releases these days, a very high quality model that is let down by poor execution and/or cost cutting on certain details.

IMG_2132.JPG

The paint on the rear spoiler doesn't match the body. It's a totally different shade, seems almost translucent, and has very little metalflake compared to the rest of the car.
I don't know if the problem is with two different paints, two different surfaces, or both, but it doesn't work.

On a smaller scale, the jagged cut mark on the front plate kinda ruins the face of the car--like an attractive person with a chipped tooth.

Looks alright to me

Not so bothered about the look of the paint on the wing but that number plate would annoy me, no end.

The paint deal looks much worse in person than in photos. I'll try to get a better shot if possible.

EDIT: still doesn't show it very well, but I can't get any better results.
