Finally I bought another Grand National , it was still there from yesterday and ima open one so we can see it . Happy Hunting :-)

Ah but the specialty cars are so worth it. Metal base + rubber tires = awesome.

Yes. Absolutely agree on that. Guess you get what you pay for. Most times!

It really depends on what kind of collector you are. Some just like to purchase the cars, open them and admire them. (aka play with toys :P) I will call them "Cano's".

Then you have people that collect for the investment, and for fun. If I want to open a car, I'll buy more than one. But I have to keep one in the package simply for future value sakes. A car in the package will always be worth more than one that is not. If you're in it for the investment, there's only one way to go. ;)

LOL! Are we discussing this again? Well, I guess we always learn from talking it out. As for me - I'm both a 'Cano' and an 'R1600turbo' because I do both.

But then - I also photograph, create dioramas, modify, repaint, display, race. . . .

AOS - I'm so damn jelly, you sadist.
Tom_Servo - you can also flip open the roll-cage in the Mini - it's hinged.

That Regal. Just so freaking beautiful.

Does it also sharpen pencils!?

This car is just unreal. I like the darn car all of a sudden.

P.S. I checked Toys R Us on the way home tonight. They had the latest cars, but very slim picking. Just about all the cool cars were nowhere to be seen.

I want the new Furai, "Boulevard" Cuda & Grand National, and I think 80's AE86.

Wallmart again.

Keep an eye on the classic release cars like the VW Buggy top center. If you find any of those cars with red stripes and lettering on the tires, that is the equivalent of a treasure hunt in that series. ;)

:ouch: I was at our Wal-mart today, Hot wheels where on sale for $1, but they had 2 or 3 2012's, the rest where from 2011 & didn't even have The Hot Ones or Boulevard series.

Are those JL to the left? Ours doesn't sell those either. -_-

Luckily I hit up Superstore (who also had HW for $1) & bought the '70s Firebird, Camaro IROC and a One-77.

Where would you find the Easter exclusives? On the normal hot wheels pegs or the easter aisle?

During Christmas the Christmas themed cars were in the same place as the normal cars (at Walmart anyway).

Some more cars from me

I also picked up this Maisto Pro Rodz Viper

Does anyone know if those easter cars will be availible in Australia or are they a USA exclusive?

Picked up a green #4 Citroen C4 Rally, today - HW Thrill Racers City Stunt '12. Orange tinted windows. Also several Falcon XB's for trading and a rather nice dark maroon '67 Shelby GT-500. I've noticed that there was a batch of Muscle Mania GM '12 '66 Chevy Nova that is usually copper coloured, but came out more 'orangey'. The difference is very noticeable when they're side by side. This is not a colour variation but a dye-lot mistake.

Tom_Servo - you better hide that car from the boss. He'll confiscate it, and all you'll hear for the rest of the day is 'vroom vroom' from behind his office door.

Nice picks, a6m5. Bloody jelly.

Dam people, you're all on a freaking roll lately. My supermarkets are all trash. They are staaaarting to stock 2012 but most have a long way to go still. today I saw my first RX7 at the pegs.
