Yeah, but did you pay $17 for it?

Yeah, I also still have the package:

I had never seen this case before I bid on this thing. Cano might not like this approach.

Nope, I brought it at the price of $1. And it was in a bin at one of my local grocery stores which has more people shopping there and possibilty of collectors looking at the cars there is a slight chance. But I was one lucky guy that day.

Yes, Cano would flip if he saw that case.

The HW Boulevard GNX is awesome!

I know right? GNX + black on black styling = one bad:censored: ride. 👍

Cano
Dam people, you're all on a freaking roll lately. My supermarkets are all trash. They are staaaarting to stock 2012 but most have a long way to go still. today I saw my first RX7 at the pegs.

I'm with you bro. My local stores still have the same cars. Why do these stores just update the pegs with newer cars that are 2011 instead of the same ones, or better......2012 cars?!

AAAAARRRRREEEEAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!! :mad::crazy:

You are CJ. Cano Jr!
Nice picks, a6m5. Bloody jelly.
It was literally "one" pick, as rest came from eBay. Thanks regardless. 👍

Snuck out after work to go to Toys R Us, Target, and Walmart. And bought these! :D
IMG_1274.jpg

Finally got the Hakosuka Skyline!
BMW M1
Tucker Torpedo! :D

Rather funny how all the interesting cars (for me at least) always appear at the front of the pegs. Walmart was still empty with nothing interesting. But they just got mystery car bags. Lastly, I need to find the Kenmeri Skyline. >_>

Great job! I haven't seen Hakosuka in a long time. 👍 I wouldn't worry about Kenmeri, around my area, they are everywhere. It's not that rare to see like four, five of them before you actually reach the Hot Wheels bin. I think many people know about Hakosuka, but not the KenMeri Skylines.

I got the M1 last week, very cool car to have in a collection.

CANO! YOU ARE GOING TOO BE MAD AS HELL.
AT FLEA MARKET SCOOPED UP new in package majorettes, french majorettes for DOLLAR EACH! guy said, "oh you like those, i have boxes, I'll bring more next month. i bought him out!!

Wish they were "everywhere" here. :indiff: I was very tempted to buy the Porsche 917 Hot Ones and the Ferrari Racer F430 Scuderia. But with my low amount of money, I only bought a couple. :( Still no GNX or Delorean. Also found two Olds Auroras that a couple people are talking about on this thread, is it that special? Could have bought it...there were two at Target. >_>

I have the 917. You saw it, it is pretty cool.

Don't sweat the Kenmeri. You will find that one eventually.

 at the Auroras. My reaction to that car in the store was exactly the same as yours. What 🤬 is so special about this? There were couple of guys talking about it, posting pictures, but......

Rather curious, what are people's opinions on Jadatoy's Lopro diecast cars. They look pretty good, even though they're $3.97 each. >_> Very tempted to buy one.

Side note: I met my first hot wheels collector in person! The guy was pretty nice and asked me if I was able to find this model he was looking for. It felt cool to meet a fellow collector locally. :D Just something random to post...

I haven't had much luck with the locals, except they give me the dirty looks, or couple French dudes(they weren't using deodorant), one of them got annoyed, because I guess I was going through everything ahead of him. Very first one I saw I think was the only cool one. He just gave me heads up how there were more hot wheels around the aisle.

On diecast outside the mainstream, personally I'd just buy whatever I feel like buying. Did you know Johnny Lightning have dirt cheap 1/24 diecasts? I feel like it's only matter of time before I pick one up. I'm doing my best to avoid large diecasts, because just like hot wheels, there is just no end to collecting them, and they cost much, much more than hot wheels.

P.S. I really want the Michael Keaton Batmobile in Wilson's picture. I've seen other Batmobiles I'm not at all interested in at Toys R Us, but Michael Keaton one I'd buy without any hesitation.

Edit: I've been noticing lately how Johnny Lightning cars says "TOMY" on the packaging. Tomica & JL cars are worlds apart, and I didn't think nothing of it. Well, I just looked it up & TOMY bought out the JL's parent company.

I think this took place last year, and while I love TOMY(Japanese toys I grew up playing with), I hope JL just stay the way they are. Just keep making obscure classic American cars. My last JL was a International Scout. Lifted. :D If you want to throw in obscure classic Japanese cars, I guess that would be fine. :P

I would love to collect the larger scale models, like Autoart, but holy crap they're expensive! :scared: I like the quality of these Lopros, even though they're mainly tuned versions. And no, I didn't know Johnny Lightning had cheap 1:24 diecasts. How much would they be?

I think they were around fifteen bucks at Toys R Us.

I have three Autoart, and they are pretty nice. Their James Bond DB5 was garbage though. Another thing about diecasts in addition to cost are storage space it takes. Yeah, I really like them, but I don't need them. :D

OH, PLEASE, GOT DAMMIT!!!

You know, yes I kinda hate you a bit now. PICS.

Hey, Wilson, you gave Lantern the green light.
BTW - Tip: If you like to add to your post (instead of making one after the other) click on the 'EDIT' button of the post you want to add to, then put on fresh stuff, then click 'SAVE'. Easy as pie, and as fun.

Guys - I go googah over Regals, Fieros, etc, because I owned those cars in my time. It's really fun to have models of real cars you have or have had.
I like the Aurora because I own an Olds Intrigue presently.

I see that DW is back to pee off Cano. And me!! Urgh. Those Majorettes are mine.

Cano, you might want to grab an extra pair of undergarments because I fear you may wet yourself. Aside from the Limo which was $2, I paid no more than $1.50 for any one thing (and only the three classics cost even that much!)

Novacar Series: Made in Portugal
He had two more of these sets, one were the cars all head a glitter paint job, which looked cheap, and another for pack that had doubles of cars I have as singles already so I left them.

I grouped the cars together based on how the fronts of the cards looked. Since they are not dated and I know little about them, I thought it would make viewing better. The blisters are a bit whompy so getting clear pictures was taking forever and I finally just gave in. The backs of the cards are all over the place with only a handful looking similar. The pink ice cream trough and the lemon like pace car are a bit garish while the off road vehicles are my favorite.

He had a loose mint teal green Limo as well, but I left it.

I have six other pictures showing the cars that were not Majorette that I'll have to post later)

Even the packaging's cool. Look at the epic limo packaging.👍

I've see the pic before, but the picture doesn't begin to describe this monster!

That is cool. 👍 Why do no one ever make a 2004 Nissan Altima hot wheels, I'll never understand. :P

I already made fun of it, you didn't have to help.

Edit:

Found another video of Metropolis II:

At the end, it looks like they put a camera on one of the trains(past 5 minute mark). How cool. 👍

Got damn Wyvern, even if they are "late models", barely made in France, some of those are pretty cool and hard to find. The one that really makes my heart pound is the black "Africa" Toyota FJ, because back when I was a little brat, an aunt of mine travaled the Africa and brought me that very car. I played with it to no end and today it sits awaiiting restoration, it's already in pieces. I really like the blue Thunderbird and the white thing at it's side, whatever it is. ffor a buck a pop, these are awesome!
