Ah, okay. 👍 I do have one similar to it. This one is from their sub-series Japanese Car Era:It's the four door sedan: http://japanbooster.com/lib/jb_item.pl?itemid=20001
I misunderstood, Hugo. I thought you meant, why not include accessories with smaller vehicles like Contessas. Contessa in crates would be cool, but with the current trend of TLVs, that would be $50, $60 per crate, so no thank you!Wow, I'm surprised with how well you accepted my so-called "idea", haha.
But then again, if GreenLight does it for less money than some of these extremely-expensive TLV trucks, something should click in Takara Tomy to do the same... Plus, Tomica already has a Contessa casting, all they need is putting it in the washing machine!
It's like a "dream" casting, like how F40 is a "dream car". You could barely find any pictures on Google, these chrome cars are very exclusive! That is so worth chasing for.
For what they are, the cost nowadays is stupid. Should've picked up some more when I had the chance!Yeah I don't get the rage for Acceleracers, but the RD-09 is one of my favourites.
Examples being? Both movies are my most favorite childhood movies but Highway 35 had much better looking cars imo.
Well basically I liked that some were real cars and some of the fantasy cars were some older hot wheels castings.Examples being?
I don't mind these cars. Annoyingly enough, I haven't been able to watch the Highway 35 seriesWell basically I liked that some were real cars and some of the fantasy cars were some older hot wheels castings.
This seems to be the best pic on Google of all of them.

They're getting expensive.
Some of the Acceleracers cars were just aren't my taste honestly.
I know nothing about GTA cars, but cars from vintage racing games would be pretty neat.Anyone else wish somebody would license the GTA V cars in small scale? I'd absolutely love to own some. Another great line would be Ridge Racer Type 4, which is approaching its 20th anniversary.
That is so worth chasing for.

100 in existence per model, that says it all really. Only car I ever had that matches that low of production number was the BRE Hot Wheels 510/Bluebird, and it wasn't the "production" number, and I had to look this up again(from my own blog lol), but only one hundred were released with dual-autographs. That's probably one I should have hung onto, but I got enough money out of it for my another hobby(firearms), so no regrets. Maybe little bit. Here's what it takes in 2017. Besides money, you have to find soneone who:
-bought a bunch of eligible TLVs back when
-clipped the boxes for proofs-of-purchase
-entered the contest
-beat the odds and won the grand prize
-now wishes to sell their treasured possession (or died)
I don't know about greed, but the whole goal of the business is how high one could charge & still have people buy the product. IMO, TLV is really, really pushing it right now. I've been a very active TLV collector, but after seeing $90 Isuzu buses, I'm starting to see my exit out of TLV collecting, or at least dial it waaaay back.Well if the extras don't come with an additional price on top of the truck's price, it would be a neat detail... At least it would justify the high-as-hell prices some of these trucks go for, if anything. Japan can't be that greedy, putting prices on scale model crates, right...?
Missed out on black & white. I had couple of chances recently also, but missed them, too. TLV prices sometime fluctuate, or low sale prices popup briefly, so I'll keep on lookout.31 bids and climbing. So glad I took care of these before they went berzerk.
Love this casting, but it's one of the weird ones that I prefer with mainline wheels. Same with the "Summit" Chevelles. Not fond of real riders on those castings, but I adore the mainline versions. Not a new find, just a saved car from my customizing box since I've lost interest in it. This one will stay as it is.
Wonder what's with that number. The new Auto Worlds are limited to that as well.I just realized how it's limited to 1,256.
I'm the same way myself with the barn find look and the price. But since I usually only get one or two JLs at a time, to me it's a fair trade off.I've had some successes looking at hot wheels out of town. Not this time. I almost came home with zero hot wheels, then I found this at Walmart:
I do have a soft spot for barnyard/rusted/distressed cars. Even then, I still wasn't sure if I wanted it, as I don't believe Johnny Lightning cars are worth $6. It's my first JL since the brand came back. I did used to be a fan when these cars were $3. I just realized how it's limited to 1,256. That's kinda nice!
I'm kinda meh on it.Love this casting, but it's one of the weird ones that I prefer with mainline wheels. Same with the "Summit" Chevelles. Not fond of real riders on those castings, but I adore the mainline versions.
I didn't realize that. Interesting.Wonder what's with that number. The new Auto Worlds are limited to that as well.
I told myself, it would cost $3 in shipping alone if it was online.I'm the same way myself with the barn find look and the price. But since I usually only get one or two JLs at a time, to me it's a fair trade off.
I wonder how it would look with mainline wheels. Mainline Camaros, I think looks better than my RLC one.I'm kinda meh on it.
I figured that they wouldn't actually produce it until the sale was over so they know exactly how many to make. Just let me know about the Falcon.P.S. I forgot to tell you, let us take care of that Millennium Falcon sometime soon, because that Nova gasser is one year out! May of 2018.

The bill so far is $25.98 + whatever shipping to you. It's big & heavy(considering). I just opened the box to take out the invoice to see how much it was, but two good news. 1) It has one of those keeper cases all RLC cars comes with, except it's custom shaped for the Millennium Falcon blister. 2) You got the serial number "100"!! That's pretty cool. 👍I figured that they wouldn't actually produce it until the sale was over so they know exactly how many to make. Just let me know about the Falcon.
Yeah, thank you. I do have all the Super Silhouettes.Well I hope you don't exit through the back door of TLV collecting, because I like the way your coverage of them, but obviously things like the TLV trucks and rare old castings should probably be avoided if you want to dial back on your spendings. I won't say Super Silhouettes because A) those are probably done forever and B) you already have all of them, duh.
Please switch to decaf. Why do you have to make this sound like the job market for.
Good stuff. Your cars really adds variety to this thread & are treat to see. 👍Apita Tomica Mazda Cosmo Sport Police Patrol Car
Almost as nice as the TLV, but it cost me twice as much... The colour is what the TLV should have been. Not as creamy.

Tomica Kogyo Kawaguchi-shi Isuzu Erga Bus
Another bus that is as good as its TLV big brother.

Akado Custom Tomica Team Kunimitsu NSX Red & White
The pad printing detail on this is exquisite. There are alot of copycat customs using water transfers flooding the market, and some are pretty good and at a fraction of the price. Akado are upping the game to stay ahead.

Sweet. When you get it out, let me know the total and I'll send it over. The bill so far is $25.98 + whatever shipping to you. It's big & heavy(considering). diesel Skyline.
"Ogikubo Damashii", or Ogikubo Spirit. It's a reference to the Prince Motor Company, creator of Skyline, etc. absorbed by Nissan back when. I think Ogikubo was where they used to operate out of, in Tokyo.Sounds so wrong.
Also, what's that series called? The first Nissan Prairie they released came in the same big box as your Test Skyline and obviously, I can't read Japanese.
