Fixed.Gosh, so much Nissan. There needs to be someToyotaMazda in these series.
Not at all. Impossible, at least on the West Coast. Instead of trying to find them, I preordered a set, but I must say..... those are some of the ugliest chases I've ever seen. It's not the design, or color. It's like those words "super" "chase" are cut & paste using some bland microsoft font. They look super ugly & out of place.Anyone going to go looking for the M2 Auto-Japan series?
Those Sparks are good buys. 👍Still cutting down my collection as my focus evolves. Have some Auto World, Greenlight, TLV, and the newest Spark Porsches all available on eBay

Well, they said that they are getting started with the Nissans, right? Nissans are JDM cashcows right now in 1/64 market, so maybe they are trying to cash in little early. Like you guys, I'd have preferred they eased into the market with little bit of this & little bit of that. Vintage RX-7, or Celica/Supra/Celica XX would've been REALLY cool.Fixed.
It's actually half decent. I might pick it up sometime.
Can you provide a picture of the engine bay of your R8 LMS 1:64? How does the interior look like? Is the interior painted or decorated with decals in any way?The store nearby my home accepts preorders of Tarmac models (be it 1:64, 1:43, or even 1:18). Not sure if they do shipping, though.
🤬Hot Wheels convention car for this year. Anyone want to take a guess what it'll sell for on eBay?
I think I've ordered from this company three times? I got undisclosed blemish on the base on the first order, second one was a TLV with messed up box. Third was Tarmac Civic preorder, I ordered four. It took months for them to come through & numerous emails + Facebook message were 100% unanswered. Very frustrating shop to deal with for me.Facing a dilemma right now.
I'm a slight bit interested in the Audi R8 LMS on sale at daboxtoys (the one which won the 2015 Nurburgring 24 Hours). However, ever since my last encounter with the shopkeeper, I don't want to visit their store again, let alone buying model cars from them, and to my knowledge, there are no other stores that have these Tarmac Works cars on sale in Hong Kong. Buying it online doesn't seem like a viable method to me either, as I can't use my credit card.
...Which is why I am here, asking if any of you (particularly @RCKakashi14 ) know of other physical stores in HK which retail those Tarmac Works cars.
Edit: Just looked it up on Tarmac Works' website, and it says Daboxtoys is the exclusive distributor in HK.
Still, any chance?

Thanks for the reply BTW.

Oh it's beautiful, I know.Dude. That Superbird thing.
That's what it looked like to me, but I didn't think they had racing livery(probably wrong). I have one, but I haven't seen it in so long I have no idea what it looks like(probably racing livery lol), except I'm pretty sure it was silver/chrome.Oh it's beautiful, I know.
I believe it's from the Classics line.

Edit: See @Johnny1996 , I'm not that old. Not racing livery & color is exactly what I thought it was. Silver.

You noticed the cool roommate Silverado in the storage box. Look at its other roommates from the era:

Fancy schmancy.
Edit2: I was checking to see how much the Super Treasure Hunt 240z goes for these days($40~$50-something), then I saw this. Someone's gonna be disappointed.
Green stripe Treasure Hunts dude!So much good stuff in that post.
I actually found the regular TH of that 240Z in, of course, a grocery store(another TH, I think Chevelle or something). You'll never find them at Walmart type stores with all the collectors. $uper, I did buy on eBay & I'm not sure how much I paid.I remember I almost bought the $TH Datsun for $35 A few years back. Never did since it ruin my streak of buying every TH in stores rather than on the secondary market.
Someone's gonna be disappointed.
Green stripe era if you ask me was the best, not because it was easier but because that's how they were doing it when I found my first one.Green stripe Treasure Hunts dude!

Mother of god. Am I even looking at this right!? This is almost as impressive as the Vintage Racing 510 I got for under $9, shipped!

Yeah, but $uper, right? Check out that listing, it's the regular TH with "Super" in the title! I remember being confused by it when I first started collecting(240Z was "the" $TH at the time). I had hard time telling the difference between regular & $uper. That's about how much I paid for mine a year or two ago.
I do feel attached to it a bit for the same reason.Green stripe era if you ask me was the best, not because it was easier but because that's how they were doing it when I found my first one.
And boy you got lucky on that one. So much so that I'm feeling a tightening in my chest.
We lose some, but we definitely win some too!I still smile whenever I think back to the time I found the Speed Machines 911 GT2 and Zamac 599XX on some random-ass no-name Netherlands webstore for $6.
That Silverado was found in the wild. I think it's worth as much as that 240Z $TH, come to think of it. I think it was in the $40 range last I checked. *checks again* Yep, looks like $40 to $50+. It's nice to see something random like that pick up value. 99% of the cars I have are likely still in the $1~$2 range. I also found XB $uper TH in the wild. It was my first $TH..... but it wasn't the cool purple one. It was the second brown one. I flipped that one. Purple came from eBay for .......Isn't that Cars of the Decades Silverado worth a silly amount of money now? Also I forgot you had that $uper XB.
