Ooh, I didn't see that and I am missing that one still. Regardless I think I'll pass this time as I've already spent too much this month and the Citroen series isn't that difficult to get a hold of (famous last words).

Fun fact, the Citroen BX is the first car I remember my dad owning. It broke down a lot supposedly, but I always thought the hydropneumatic suspension was cool.
That would be the coolest thing if you were a kid.

God, I really want that CM's Citroen, but they just don't have another car I'd add for combined shipping. If I was still growing my collection, I'd add that Miura, maybe Countach.

BRING IT BACK

Audi Quattro anyone?

I saw that. I can't believe I didn't connect the dots. It should happen before the year's over right?
Fail to see how...
Always egging me on to buy stuff, you are the CLASSIC enabler!
You know my feelings about Baseball. As long as you're happy.
I still hope you get a MLB hat as discussed.
That's two pre-orders now, right? :P
Zero. I don't collect nothing anymore.

Bestest amirite. I'm hoping that blue's as cool in person as it is in pictures. :D

I don’t photoshop so these photos are straight from the camera. Although the skill of the person using the camera has a big effect on the end result :D

It is bestest. Loving these Ig models. This blue one would go into my top 5 if I had to do a version 2.0 top ten.

I thought you was flippping yours? Don’t do it bro. It’s too nice to let go.

The gun metal gray I thought I'd flip, but I'm not sure. Maybe if I didn't like it for whatever reason. Your pics have really good lightning!
Alternative facts.
PURE facts.
Always the buzzkill...
No, you, x infinity!
Looks so damn good in that blue.👍
Looks way better in blue in my opinion.
That's four votes for the blue. I wonder if gun metal gray would still end up being worth more though, for it being the very first release.

Found the Magnus Walker 911 whilst on holiday in Spain. The card is battered and stapled together but more reason to set it free anyway.

This is a well made car from Inno. I am pleasantly surprised by how well made it is. Good casting detail, stickers applied smoothly. Its a pretty good first effect by Inno. I would say as good as Tarmacs recent stuff. Impressive.

Everyone knows I despise water slide stickers and I did have to go through a few pieces to find one that had good stickers applied. But the overall finishing is very good. Smooth with no bubbling and orange peel effect. Infinitely better than Tarmacs first release and I remember criticising them for the shoddy workmanship. I only remembered I had the Tarmac Idemitsu Civic EG6 after I finished taking these photos and I couldn't be bothered to find it and compare the two. But you can see the difference between this and that one from this guy photos that keep randomly appearing on Google (this guys photos pop up everywhere!)

The 1/64 JDM market has become very crowded recently. Everyone is getting in on it. If Inno continue to release stuff like this and keep improving their quality they will surely have a lot of collectors following them.

Lightning is dangerous.
That's a good typo. Oops.

We were looking at this tweet at work today. It's pretty good:

Turn up volume:

I thought these were released simultaneously?
I wondered about that. Going by my observation online, gun metal gray appeared first. SURPLUSgoodies(on eBay), carloverdiecast, dabox & Tarmac Works showed up with Ignition Model 1/64s first & they all had gun metal gray initially, with the exception of Tarmac Works. Tarmac Works offered the gun metal & blue simultaneously. Carloverdiecast offered white, only after they had sold out gun metal & I've yet to see the white one from anybody else.

Of course, that's all my personal observation online + I don't know how things worked out for those lucky enough to score them from local shows & shops!
Godammit, IG looks bestestestest.
Please switch to decaf.
chameleon purple
If that's the one I'm thinking of(I think they did it in 1/18?), that one's pretty hot.
These are a must have. :dopey:
If I was building a 1/64 collection, I'd definitely buy a couple. :D

Beat up card would have made a nice souvenir with it intact!
Depends on your perspective.
PURE FACT: You are upside down!!
Should have seen that coming...
Me? Predictable? You can't be serious Spacedog.👍
I wish it didn't have any decals other than front and rear deco.
I think it looks good!

I want to talk more about Idemitsu, but I'm just so distracted by how nice this guy smells. Thanks for making me click on my own link.

I was head over heels for the chameleon purple thing, but several resin brands start doing it too on a wider range of cars, and now the idea's been cheapened. Grr

The reason I say this is because among the cars that IMO look good in this colour-shifting scheme, the R35's box shape isn't one of them.

That's what Acetoneeeeee is for :D

Does it make that much difference? What are the good examples?
Wow. Rare & old, it still looks absolutely brand spankin' new.👍

Due to the nature of this thread, I will disclose it once more that this is strictly a personal opinion on the subject, but here's a whole bunch of purple colour-shifting models:

I could just be jaded, but I think the harshness of colour contrast and shifting is most fitting on bodies that are slender with overall sharp points and angular forms, stuff that makes something look dangerous. A boxy soft-cornered body doesn't come off with an aggressive demeanor.
