I sometimes feel rather fortunate that I live in time where the 1:64 segment is booming... You have all these brands popping up and producing great stuff; Tarmac, Inno64, Mini GT, Ignition, and Era Car just to name a few. Thanks to this website, I have also learned about Tomica Limited Vintage, Spark's entry into the segment and Biante's RE-entry into the segment. I remember when I only knew about Kyosho, Matchbox, Hot Wheels and Classic Carlectables and the odd AutoArt model. If 7 year-old me saw what kind of collection I'd accumulated, he'd be going mad. Honestly. For a while there, I wasn't buying many cars because 1:43's were too expensive and the 1:64 segment seemed to be on the decline. Then I stumble upon this website and discover that there are SOO MANY models out there to buy - in the scale I love most. I look at my collection today and think: Holy crap, I have an F40, a Pagani Huayra, an RX-7, a McLaren Senna, Liberty Walk GT-R, 2 Porsche 962's and 3 911 RSR's, Scott Pye's Walkinshaw Commodore and an Isuzu Bellet ALL in 1:64 scale. That is quite a line-up, and I have this site to thank for helping me re-discover my hobby.
Sorry if that sounded like a love letter but I'm serious! My collection is more diverse than ever.
