Almost thankful my pharmacy was closed for a lunch break, gave me time to drive around to a couple other stores. Didn't have much hope for finding the Thrill Climbers set. Almost missed it at Target because some employee placed them on the Disney cars peg. Only found the latest Boulevard set, but missed out on the one with the Agera.

Local Walmart finally updated Tomicas. But they skipped the series with the Toyota Crown Comfort (taxi) that I wanted... Not sure what set/wave the Audi R8 is supposed to be as it didn't even ring up when I was at checkout.

Anyhow, this one will be available next month in Japan:

Over here in the Philippines, it should arrive a month or two after the Japan release.

So... expect that in Walmarts next year, perhaps?

For now the majority of my most recent purchases will stay in their packaging. Eventually I plan on getting a few more display cases to display all my "premium" 1/64's that I have opened or plan on opening. Probably will be a little while before that happens though...

Is it me or does these two have slightly different paintjobs?

^ I would double check that very closely with an online community.

This could either be a one-off where one is missing a metallic coat (or mistakenly received it), or enough have it that we can classify it as a variation. This is one of the fun things of mass produced toy car collecting.
