The cars sell at 10 for $10 with their discount card. I don't have one but I can snag my mom's before I head over there. Depending on how many I purchase, shipping could probably be around $10-12. (USPS Priority) Edit: Forgot you are in Canada, could be a little bit more...

I'll pay for everything. Just scan me the shipping invoice when the deed has been done. 👍

And don't give me like express mail or some expensive shipping rate. :P

Don't think I'll be able to pay for my package... :(

Bought the Camaro, another GR-1, and two more mystery models. Pics by tomorrow.

Hah the Mad Splash is one amusing car to look at.

isn't a car at all, but I like the idea of turning water into a part of it.

Finally found this guy. I am very much content.

Also, can someone identify this thing for me? It's got no I.D on the bottom.

What is that beautiful ride? I must get one!

Finally found the Red Express Wagon, it has been very scarce over here. Very cool casting, one of the best of this year 👍

Looks a bit like an Audi Quattro to me, with a hideous paint job. Hard to tell though without actually picking it up and looking at it.

I had to buy one, too. It's different. 👍

I also like this car(pretty sure I have one), but after seeing the first pic with the wheel-swap..... just wow.

Mystery models I bought were the Champagne/Gold El Camino. I have to say the dark chrome plastic base looks pretty good on it. And the other one is another green Ford Falcon XB.

One last question for R1600 on the cars, (sorry about another one :ouch:) is there a Ferrari F430 Spyder at the grocery store?

Custom Torinos look awesome with those wheel swaps.

I've posted a pic of the El Camino before(cool car), but I had to google Mystery Falcon XB. There were some Mad Max car that came up on this search? Was that this Falcon XB car? If so, next time I see it, I might have to get one. For Mattel, this might be a good idea for another throwback model, like the A-Team, BTTF DeLorean, etc.? I still wish they'd do Magnum edition Ferrari, but that was a stock model on the show.....

It's the same Ford Falcon XB that's been out since 2010. Currently in purple as a Muscle Mania series car and only recently came out in this year's mystery models. I do believe the Ford Falcon in Mad Max was the Falcon XB. Would be cool if they made that version of it. :D Maybe one of gtplanet's gifted HW customizers could attempt to recreate it. :sly:

With rubber tires and everything. Cano? R1600? :P

Edit:

Which one is it?

It's been years since I've seen the film. Or were they both in the first?

Recreate the Mad Max Falcon? A couple of my buds tried their hand already on it, both versions, the one with the cone nose and the one after the crash with no cone nose; I'll try to find the pics, both cars were very very well done.

EDIT: One of the cars is in pieces getting some stuff redone. I showed him the thread and he told me that, when he's done with a Corgi Majors Mack tanker he's restoring for out next meeting, he'll put it together again.

It's basically the same car but the bottom pic is missing the front shroud/nose thingy. Apparently, CharaWheels (Japan HotWheels), were going to produce the Mad Max Interceptor (just like they did with the Knight 2000 KITT), but couldn't aquire the license... rumor has it though (CW37), that they may have actually released a very very limited run of the car, but iv'e yet to see any pics of said car... i think some of the original CharaWheels cars must have been some kind of skunk-works for HW.

PS, AOS, that looks like an AUDI Quattro to me... can't see it could be anything else with those squarish wheel-arch blisters.

I have the BMW 2002, ZL1, black RX7, and purple Coronet Super Bee in abundance here as well as a silver 302 Boss Laguna Seca if you're interested. They're going for $1.33 now however.

Been to the toy show over the weekend. Grabbed several vintage Tomica race cars, a nice J2000, a Bandai Gobots Crasher, a nice thunderburner Black Knight, a Corgi Juniors Growler, a Kidco Burnin Key Fire Chief and a couple Zylmex/Yatming/Other make cars. Pictures to come...some time.

Then on the way home from work today I stopped by an antique mall that I always drive by, but never go in. Its full of glass, furniture, art...its just way to fancy for me to think I'd find something, but I continued on inside and came back with two early 90s gift packs and a Little Debbie 3 pack featuring the Thunder roller and the lot of them (30% sale) was just $9.

This weekend I've got another school flea market to attend on Saturday and the bimonthly STLHWC show on Sunday.

I've seen most of those around. If you guys are serious about paying for them + shipping, I can go on a shopping spree and send out some packages.

Sorry, can't do it for free. :sly:

Thank you to At1 & Cano for the info. I didn't realize it was a same car. I thought maybe there were two separate models, or one was inaccurate copy or something. Thanks again. 👍

Guess I'll have to ask my brother to use his PayPal account. :ouch:

I went to the 99 cent thrift store in East LA today and saw a weird sight. 2003 first models still in packaging! there was a first run Enzo, Quattroporte, and even the tooned Z28 'Maro. I was debating picking some of them up
