I stopped at a few Autozones tonight. Only one that had Boulevard cars, I took one up to the register and had the guy scan it. Came up at $.01.

I bought both cars they had. Total bill = $.02. 👍

I did a quick google search, but why would anyone want this Greenmachine? Are they scarce or something?

I recognize the car on the left, which was the upcoming release when I saw it. Are they both new models? Absolute steal!

It had green wheels. The interior was green as well. As well as the body itself.

Nice grabs on the boulevards, still haven't been able to stop by Autozone... Wish I could get a second Tucker Torpedo. Great model. Since it's on the other side of town. Quite far from where I was doing my hunting and other chores.

They got it right. It's rare, it's coveted, blah-blah-blah....... and make it ugly. Make it ugly, so if novice collectors like us aren't able to get our hands on it, we don't feel so shortchanged! Just think about all the envy we feel about the THs & S-THs we always miss out on!

Now I wonder what this White Lightning is. I do like Johnny Lightning, but I had never heard of this, or the Greenmachine before.

These people need to get it straight, us collectors would just keep on looking or ask from fellow collectors before even thinking of paying a outrageous price of a recent $1 car.

Yea before i even read your message i was about to say that! Funny you mentioned hoarding, my little cousin told me about a guy who had roughly 500,050 hot wheels cars in his house, he says he thinks it was on that show "Hoarding: Buried Alive". True story.

Crazy show. Peeped a couple of episodes and wow is all I have to say. Especially the mother and son who had cockroaches crawling all over their house.

Yep, that's one wierd show. And I will never enter that mother and son's house, even on a dare.... Never!

But back on topic, hmmm, that DBS with G37 interior must be out there somewhere in the world. But like the Z06's with the GS chassis, these are the needle in a haystack cars. I do hope it exists though.

I know right? Just wait. We need to educate the people who just go all out instead of wating to find a car or ask other collectors who won't give you a dumb price on a HW car. I mean, if you can't find a collector or checked every store, the grocery stores always get back stocks on the cars previously sold in the other stores.

Stopped at Wal-Mart this morning. They had the new dump bin with P case cars in it. If I was still getting all new cars I could have easily spent $20-25 this morning. But I only grabbed a few to open and left the rest. I did get:

- 2012 Volkswagen Beetle
- 24/7 recolor
- Ford Focus
- Mystery Machine
- Angry Birds Red Bird (got this for my nephew)

Then stopped at Target and picked up the new Matchbox 5-pack with the police cars and the new Red Porsche. I will be opening this too.

Pictures to come tomorrow as I will be doing some shopping tonight and will be making my own light box so I can get better photos. 👍

Forgot to mention I also got that police 5-pack. It is pretty good, despite the Ford Interceptor having red windows and...the Chevy Suburban I don't care much for. But other than that it's a cool looking pack.

Would have cashed in my paycheck, but for some reason it came with a part ripped off, with the verification number... So I can't get the cash today to stop by Walmart... Might just leave it till next week to stop by, I get the feeling they still haven't updated...

Here's that Autozone Promotional vehicle I was talking about earlier. It is a Camaro that came from a 2 pack originally sold at Autozone, I imagine it's worth something!

Really, well to be honest i will have to locate the other vehicle that came with the 2 pack, i remember it was a Zender Fact 4, not a Autozone promomotional, but a bonus mainline that came with the Camaro.
Seems like there was another promotional 2 pack that my brother got the same day i got this Autozone promotional 2 pack, i can't remember what it was but i think it was Walgreens.

I had one from Autozone that came with the Super Tuner truck, but it was decorated in a Duralast Batteries livery (Black and Gold) and came with an orange ice cream truck. The packaging was trashed, so last time I went though my cars I opened it, kept the Super Tuner and gave the ice cream truck to my nephew.

Oh yea! Now i remember!💡 It was that one Super Tuner that my brother got the same day i got my Autozone promotional 2 pack! However it didn't come with that ice cream truck, i don't remember what else came with it. I do also have a Walgreens promotional Camaro convertible it got once with another 2 pack as well.

That is strange - I could understand that as a Retail 'inventory' Markdown issue, but most probably those cars will end up being filched. Did you try the Manager? When I have a problem like that, I go straight to the top - easiest way to get it resolved. Retail law in Canada is that if it is priced and displayed, then it's for sale.

Then again . . . maybe a good thing you didn't do that . . . I have stockrooms of jelly now at all the recent scores.

And have been too busy to pick up anything for weeks, and weeks, and weeks.. . .*grumble

I think he was the manager.

They're in the middle of a reset I think, and stores are just now getting their updates so most of them don't know about it yet. I planned a route on the way home that will take me by 5 Autozones, so hopefully all of them don't have a clue.
