Im addicted to the walmart redlines. Got the pontiac trans am one and was gonna get the estoque, but it had a bent rear axel and a messed up card. Damn tragic too it looks SO much better with the redlines

Got something here the old folks might be interested in. :P

Man, collectors on HWC.com are hard to deal with. Take forever to set up trades and then when you have their stuff all packed up and ready to ship, they change their minds. Ugh.

I actually quite like that car with that colorway and those wheels.
But what's with the 'Orko' tampo on the door... special 'He-man' series?

Believe it or not...

In other news, I just lost a 250+ car lot for about 290 dollars. I hate when someone snipes me in the last second.

"By the power of Greyskull!!", HW does some strange series,. (makes me think what other series they might have done). Cadillac funny car looks cool.
Cheers Cano. 👍
Sorry to hear you got sniped aswell, i hate it when people do that on e-bay.

Wanna see? Google Image "Hot Wheels Nostalgia series" and laugh.

If I had that kind of money to blow on diecast cars, I wouldn't be buying Hotwheels.

Ah, but remember that I later sell the remaining ones. In this case, I would have kept about half those (yes, even worse, I was missing a lot of them) then I would have sold the other half and would easily make the $300 back, as they were in practically mint shape and most of them pretty hard to come by.

On the other hand, I could put that money in the Autoart Mazda 787B and hells it's worth it, but I cannot justify spending that kind of money in die cast, either.

It's just a complete shocker that stores still have Hot Wheels back from the 90's . You hit a complete goldmine! Are you from Cali or what state?
Sorry but that stays between me and the staff, nothing personal i just don't give out any personal information like that on here.

Yea i know! The local toy store i go to is called "Kit Kringle", they get shipments rather frequently there of old vehicles from the late 90's and early 2000's sometimes even the early 90's, all unopened! They often have a good selection of them, they had at least 3 of them Express Lanes including mine last time i went in there and many other good ones!:) I know the man who runs the place pretty well and he is pretty nice there.:)

Nothing personal, but giving out the state you live in won't hurt anything considering the billions of people in this country.

I know but i've been told not to and well thats what i plan to do since i know nobody personally here, pretty much my country is all that anybody is going to know here on GTPlanet:lol:

Yep. Sometimes thats all it takes for criminals know were you are, i've terrible stories about this before believe it or not.

Anyway back on topic, has anyone seen that Mars Rover yet?:dopey:

If they're good enough they could get your location through your IP anyway.

The Rovers have popped up in Australia. They are Q mix, so could be a few weeks or so.

Yeah, certainly are some strange ones . My favourite one has to be the 'Ozzy Osbourne' van, he's a fellow Brummie, so i might have to acquire that one at some point, out of pure nostalgia.

Speaking of appearing in sneak peaks. What ever happened to the Dodge Viper ACR (Orange or yellow? Can't remember the color) that appeared a while ago. What case was that supposed to be in?

Man, that sucks big time. I hate it when this crap happens myself, and I don't even shop on eBay yet.

So what is your goal really? Get every car ever made? :P

Challenge In Question................

But where's the Challenge Accepted Cano?

Kit Kringle? Hmm, I'll look them up online then, thanks for the info 👍. And I just wanted your state and city nothing else, but I do understand where you're coming from. But I'll check and see if they have stores in my state I hope.

I think it was Viper Orange, but yeah when is the beast known as ACR heading out? I was wondering about it myself. I didn't see it in stores yet.

Nice wheels Harry, have a HUGE garage from them eh?

But I love the collection, especially the modified Skyline, Supra, 350Z and the Celica. Are they Jada Toys? I would love to find them.

The are as is (unmodified) and you're right, they're Jada. The castings are really good, smooth, velvety finish, and high-definition tampos, rubber wheels, etc.

Garage is out of control, man! Transporters are lined up.

Also I misspelled Trackstars - s/b: Tracksters.

I didn't even notice how tiny the Karmann is. Looks very nicely detailed for something that size.

Great photo's as always, Harry. 👍

Thank you for the kind words, Spaaaaaace! :)
Your interest is always inspirational. :)

I also correct micros, so I have lots more like that Karmann.

I'm digging the camper trailer. I don't know why, but I like campers. Riced up Supra looks good, too. When they first came out, I thought it was the ugliest Supra ever, but it's really grown on me.

Don't see too many Supras around as models, or Celicas, either. If there's one car there's plenty of in terms of models it would be the GT-R!
I see that you've stopped collecting finally and only limit yourself to a dozen every other day?

No, just the ones I like. But there are a lot of them X _ x
There's just too damn many of them. That's the problem.

Edit: This is nice:

Damn, I'm really digging that.

Yeah, now you mention it. I remember someone posting a picture of the ACR ages ago and I've haven't heard any more about it since.
Thank you for the kind words, Spaaaaaace! :)

What only a dozen? Geeez........he must have really stopped collecting this time. :P

....XsnipX.....

I am actually just green of all you collectors in America... with all your special editions and what-not.

All is not lost, Daz - that's one of the reasons we gather here from all over the world - to connect and help each other out. I'm sure if you're willing to fork out postage and the price of the car, anyone here would be only too willing to send you what you can't get there. PM whenever you see something you would like to own. :)

Damn, that sucks. My MacBook also died a couple of months ago and I just got a new one a few weeks ago.
Ah! That explains some of the sudden absences, then. Good luck fixing that - we like to see more of you - I do, anyway.

Great race track model photonrider. 👍
Iv'e played around with the idea of making a diorama kinda thing before... Problem is, the company that have the contract to do the construction, also run 'Daz's customising shop'... (terrible workshop), sounds like you're experiencing the same trouble at 'Harry's'... Do you know?, they've had my Mini and Datsun 240Z for months now.. paid them upfront for paint etc, and they still haven't finished the custom job that i wanted them to do. I chase them up regularly,

but they don't return my calls...

Haha, Daz, tell me about it - if only they were as efficient as Gran Turismo's GT Auto! In and out - everything done in seconds, and all they have is a clipboard, and some cabinets.
Dioramas - and the photography of such - is a passion with me - so I'm hoping to make some time soon to post illustrations, and how=to-notes soon; you may be surprised how little effort it takes (though much imagination is needed) to turn an old shoebox into a Car Dealership.

Same here. Couple that I did check out looked nice.
(About Monster Duos)

Yeah, all three models in that collection (Maximum Destruction, Batman, and Bone Shaker) are great looking. Gotta catch 'em all.

What gives, man! Yeah, it interests me. :P
(About old Merc)
What gives? Are you pretending to be old now to explain your senility away? I am the oldest here - let's keep it that way. You young whippersnappers that began collecting just yesterday.. . .

I actually quite like that car with that colorway and those wheels.
But what's with the 'Orko' tampo on the door... special 'He-man' series?

I have a 'thing' for Superhero cars (not so much 'fantasy' cars, but cars that connect to Superheros in some way.) Loved the movie, too, it was hilarious. Not all those models that Cano showed are available here, though; at least I haven't seen them all yet.
Daz - I tend to collect 'clumps' or sets of cars - for instance all Cobras, or HW livery cars, or Olds 442s. etc. Makes it real fun when one finds something which is new to the collection. I have lots of Bone Shakers, for instance.

Cheers,
Harry. 👍
