What is this M2 stuff people are buying here? Never heard of them until now, which is absurd - They look real good!

They sell em at toys r us too if im not mistaken. They had this 2012 explorer police car that had exquisite detail. I wanted to buy it but like stated its upwards of five bucks :(

Speaking of the nicer 1:64s, I went to TRU today. The one I recently moved close to seems to stock a lot more of the Greenlight cars than other ones I'd been in. They had the second series of the Road Racers line, which is definitely relevant to my interest. They had the whole set, but I wasn't out to spend a bunch, so I just grabbed the Boss 302 and the Guldstrand/Bondurant Corvette. I hope they do some non-American road racing cars in this series, it'd be awesome to have stuff like 911 RSR, Ferrari 250, BMW CSL, 240Z, etc.

The only interesting (to me) HWs I found were these, the Furai, Aventador, and Viper.

Ben, that convention 4 pack and those Maisto Datsun trucks.👍

The one left is the Seattle Seahawks, the other one is the Houston Texans.

Thanks for that. I should of known the Seahawks its the same team as the Viper. I just got the trucks because I liked the look of them and dont see them everyday. I dont really know anything about NFL.

These are just stunning!

I have a Mustang from the first run of the Road Racers, and it definitely is one of my favorites. I'm gonna have to check out this second series. 👍

You can practically forget about that, Greenlight has a small line of import cars but nothing that can be done in such a fashion. It would be awesome, indeed.

On other news, the HW Mexico Convention is a wrap. Very sucessful event, the attendance was higher than previous years, it had more activities and more celebrities invited, a 30-car exhibition, and most importantly, I made 800 bucks off selling my repeats lol. I also grabbed about 25 cars, will show you all later.

damn that white FB is sick! lol i can't get enough of it, but i'm sure it does not warrant a $10 sticker price.

Opened my HW GT2 porsche just to mock up some clay RWB like overfenders, but play-doh doesn't quite work xD man if i could find the stuff i need to open these things, it'd be cool to bondo up a RWB hot wheel... I'm sure some of the matchbox premiere wheels/tires have enough width. The guy at frank & sons has a ton of premiere models.

I still haven't found the Bentley... :( Though...I did find some of the other P-case cars.

Target: (Pegs had new-ish stuff)

Walmart: (Pegs had new-ish stuff, but was raided...)

Does seem like photobucket's having issues...

To list off for those who can't see it.
(2) 2012 VW Beetles
(2) Mystery Machines (The female cashier made a bit of a cute "Ooooohh Scoooby-Dooo!" when she saw it)
Red Falcon XB
Yellow 458 Spyder
1 Focus RS
1 Ferrari California
and 1 '06 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe

I quite like the Continental Supersports, at first I didn't like it (IRL version) and it's started to grow on me. So a $1 representation can't hurt. :D

The Mystery Machines wasn't really that hard. There were three on the top pegs when I found them at Target. Despite that, the pegs seemed to have recently been stocked up with new stuff. Only one Ford Focus RS on the entire pegs though. I think Walmart on the other handed was raided. There were actual new P-Case cars. But the pegs...were almost bare.

That's some great news on the convention. I can't wait to see the cars though! :)

A RWB look on the 997?! Someone call Nakai-San! Well I was thinking of doing something like the RWBs, Techarts, RUFs and 9ff Porsches on some of the GT3s and GT2s I have and try to find some 930/964 911s too. I have a few more like doing a GTS blue with White Stone stripe on the new GTS and the Nismo Z-Tune R34 and Brian's Skylines, and the Mines' GTR N1 R34 and many more mods on some of the others.

But I too need the tools to open the cars, so I have time to sit down and plan the designs and finding the cars and some donors. But look at the Hot Wheels Customizing Thread's first page and look at the first post, they have the tools you need to get started and have alot of tips inside the thread.

No Bentley yet?! I saw it at my local grocery store recently and it was in the M-car case :odd:. Did your stores get that case?

But that Beetle, Falcon XB, Moderna Yellow 458, RS and Mystery Machine! O_o

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath. It's a shame, since there's gotta be a decent market. Companies do pretty well with 1:43 and 1:18 Euro and Asian cars, so I figure they'd do OK with 1:64s.

Thanks for that.

No problem mate, always happy to help. 👍

Good to hear Cano, looking forward to the pictures. 👍

I basically filled 2 standard Hotwheels shipper boxes (72 Count) with that number of cars and listed them on eBay as "mystery boxes". Basically, bidding starts at $20 and you get what you get. :P

Guys on HWC.com were talking about new photos in the Product Showcase section, so I took a peek and it was in there. Should be in the Boulevard series.

Cool. 👍 I really like the Boulevard series. We never seem to run into availability issues with the Boulevard cars. I really liked the Garage, but I was barely into collecting hot wheels then. Vintage Racing was pretty nice, but that Datsun was just impossible. I think you found one, but I never saw one in stores.

Yeah the only Datsun 510 I ever found at retail is the one I own. Never saw them again. You can get them on eBay obviously, for a pretty penny. (or arm and a leg) :P

Yeah, I bought one on eBay before the discontinuation of the series, and I still paid around seven bucks? I wish I bought more now!

What line will that 935 be in?

Also drooling over these, but the price will probably rocket... :(

I is. :D

And I encourage anybody who has a Kmart nearby to go also! Remember, bring a box cutter, keys, or something that will cut tape, or someones face if they get too close to your box.
