Oh, I just got home from collecting my money. I only had to break two legs today. He'll pay tomorrow, I told him twice.

Indeed it is an Evo X in BRE livery. Odd, but I quite like it.

An odd combination indeed, I like really it though. The BRE livery suits the EVO X nicely in my opinion.

If the Goat is pleased - my work here is done.

And a job well done, at that Harry.

Yeah, the proportions of the 55s kill me.

It's counter-intuitive, actually, when you think about it - we love cars for their shapes, too, not just for their performances. Sleek, aero-dynamic, svelte, smooth, curved, stretched - we use all these words on the lines of a car - and then along came Maisto's 55s to make us think - um, hm, fat cars.

Basic cars cost USD$3 and classics cost USD$8 here which makes RLC stuff more reasonable to buy.

Almost everything in Singapore is marked up from 20%-1000% above MSRP :/
The smallest houses/apartments (750 sq ft) start from USD$300,000. Even cheapest brand new China-made cars cost at least USD$50,000
The only thing cheap here is food which USD$3 would get a proper meal.

Singapore has median salary at USD$2000 and a 40% tax rate.

I need to get out of here badly...

Woah!!! That's outrageous with the pricing on everything out there, and the only thing that's cheaper is food?!

Man, living in Tokyo, Seoul or Hong Kong is cheaper than Singapore!

In other news I finally found the Z4 GT car the other day. This car is freakin' awesome, it's probably the nicest HW I have right now. Great proportions and stance, nice wheels, tasteful tampos, incredibly detailed interior, and I love the fact that they've made the hood vents out of clear plastic and have detail behind them. Totally awesome.

Tell me about it. That Z4 GT2 E86 is amazing piece of artwork, either black or white, it's a modern classic. Looks almost similar to the real one that runs in the ALMS and WEC GT classes. But the black one is the best one between them both IMO.

Think that might be a pre-production version.

Yeah, it kinda does, still I like the Japanese handwriting on the side and the two-tone effect. But I hope they don't start using the chop top look, maybe mix it with the original AE from 2006 and this one (the chop top one) could be a rarer form of it.

But still, I like it though.

The Corolla wagon is a must grab.

Hot Wheels need to make an S13 or S14 Silvia. An Aristo or JZX100 would be awesome too.

I hope they can make a Mk3 Supra, Mk4 Supra and a RCNR33 GTR next.

So Target has their HW Race Team cars on sale right now for $1. Stopped by my local store this morning and bought the 370Z to add to my Z collection. Also spent way too much on another car but I really needed it.

Big Lots usually carries the leftovers of what bigger stores don't carry anymore, so yeah. Probably so. I was in a Big Lots the other day because they've been getting new shippers, and they had a bunch of them.

I also stopped by my local Dollar Tree this morning as they have a Hotwheels section. This section has shrank from ~20 pegs to maybe 4 or 5 in the last month as their inventory depleted. I asked the manager if they were getting more Hotwheels and she said they just got a truck, but wouldn't stock the toys until tomorrow. So heading back there tomorrow morning, hoping to score...

Yea big lots does carry alot of leftovers! I've seen them connect cars there before, but now i think there gone to!

The Connect Cars haven't been around in a while ether, HWC said there would be more, but i haven't seen anymore! Does anybody here have any valid information as to what happened to them?

It's just a forum section on HWC.com. They only really answer questions about 5% of the time though. Reality is that product cycles come and go. Most things go on for a year, then they refresh everything for the next. Great examples are the Treasure Hunts and their changes for 2013, Hot Ones being replaced by the Flying Colors series, etc.

Curses, I was hoping to update everyone on the sale. Stopped by Target on the way home from school today and picked up these:

Was contemplating the Fiesta and 370Z (They didn't have the 370Z), but I barely had any money and was going to stop by Walmart afterwards. Which....Walmart hadn't updated and the pegs were nearly empty. Also found the Angry Birds Red Bird at Target, first time seeing it, only one on the pegs, and didn't buy it.

Still no reply from the person who put up the ad on craigslist... It has been over a month since the ad was put up, but there is a phone number. Worth calling?
