Dude, stop posting pictures of supermarket stuff. I want that Husky Jaguar E-Type. NOW.

As I was saying - before I was rudely interrupted from my hard work on these cars some hours ago, by domestic bliss which took up valuable time from my primary job - playing working hard with cars, opening, sorting, wasting my time looking at them, and so on - finding the 911 Turbo in the MB 5-Pack made me go hunting for unopened Porsches in the pile as well from my display walls. I discovered an unopened Firebird Cruiser and added that to the pile.
This made some cars I already had in a massive Police fleet come out and join them. A lot of hoohah between them, but all oldies were told to leave quick - this was newbie day.

The MB Airport 5-Pack was calling for attention, but the thought of Porsches kept nagging me. Had I missed any unopened? All Porsches in packages had to report in!

Here's a close-up of the Porsches, and the incredible Lincoln - very well done for so cheap and small a toy car. Great metallic finish, nice tampos with good detail and registration. I was happy to get another Monaco, too. Classic cop car lines from the past. So now I got enough Porsches to keep the cops busy in Harrisville.
The old Jag looks on with a couple of buddies from the Garage.

Well, enough dreaming - back to work. I have a slew of MB Commercial Vehicles coming in. My blue collar crews are going to have a field day.

Open Sesame!

If only that would work.

Never heard of an orange Genesis.

Me neither, now I'll be on the lookout.

A very satisfying trip to Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, and then another Walmart. :dopey:

I finally found some Celicas!!! I should have bought the other six I found though. :grumpy:
The Growler and Slingshot are for my girlfriend; redline Walmart Baja Breaker; and this dope-ass Bat from The Dark Knight Rises.
If there is any other Hot Wheels from that movie and you have and are willing to trade them, let me know because I love Batman and that movie was filmed in my hometown of Pittsburgh. :D

Woah!!! Taking Celicas now aren't we?

Anyway, nice finds! 👍

R1600Turbo
Holy crap Celica hoarder.

Anyway...

Sorry for crappy cell phone, bad lighting, 3G upload pic. :ouch:

Dem S2Ks!!!!👍

McZachenF1138
I can only imagine what kind of stir I would have caused if I bought all 12 Celicas.

I can see it now..... Uprising, chaos in the streets, people brandishing heavy weapons, building blowing up in the streets.........

But seriously who knows, a scalper? I dunno. I was thinking the same thing when I got nearly six Hakos, and my eight RX7s (4 black, 4 blue).:nervous:

I shant, 50 max!

But anyways, itll be only my good stuff; so about 50 photos should do...

I can't wait to see them, probably get me jelly all over though.

Crash
I recently bought this:

Peugeot 205 GTi

It's going to go on my desk at work starting tomorrow.

Nice Peugeot 205 Crash. I love the whole detail on the car. I hope I can run into one of those Norevs one day. :)👍

McZachenF1138
Star Trek :yuck:

Star Wars

I meant what kind of cars those were! ::crazy:

Ahh, fellow Jedi Knights of the galactic space battles known as Star Wars!!! :D Unite as we have more lands to discover more HWs and MBs and keep them from the Darkside forces.

Let the force be with you fellow collector brethren!

Theace37
Worth a lot now, but theres nothing on the planet that would make me part with them...

Amen bro! Nothing wont part my precious collections away from me neither......NEVER!!!!!

Thank for the link Medigo. 👍

@Photon: I know how you feel. I haven't opened some of my HW cars and I got four recently I've haven't touched yet!

I got the Airport pack opened and feverishly pulled out the Taxi. I've been waiting to open this pack for the Taxi. There's not enough cabs in this city. But - aha - Jet Fuel, too. Just the thing for my next NASCAR fire diorama. Mad Propz flew out of the big pile and wanted Jet Fuel, too.

The rest of the Commercial Vehicles were also opened:

Notice how I slice off the blister cleanly, which allows all cards to be laid flat, and undamaged. Why keep the cards? Cards are a nuisance, gather dust quick, get in the way, fall over, and start taking your space over, even if you only spend $20.00 a month on this.
Many reasons to hold on to the occasional card - for instance the name of the car may be on the card, but not on the base of the casting. Or even more importantly - if you are customising, it is a good thing to have the original graphic as a handy reference for headlight/grille/etc, touches that are authentic.

Take a look, below, at the lights on this MB truck, and compare it with the graphic. The card also gives details of the grillwork as well as the lights on the roof of the cab.

But I couldn't stop thinking about the lack of Taxis in the city. Off I went to raid my Display Wall, and yes, trust my MB display to have a couple of cabs hidden in there, raring to be let out and be of service. Off the Wall!

Taxis were added and savoured. A couple of older HW cabs arrived to say 'Hi.'

So a quick clean-up and straighten out of all the newbies, and my knife and fork was ready for the next dish.
The pile on my left now presents me with a Time Machine, a Cobra, a Viper, and a Firebird. Hard work this. I need a flaming Indy car to get away.

I've decided to post some of the most interesting bits of my collection. They'll be posted in small bits as I don't want to use an excessive amount of bandwidth. I've forgotten most of the names.

Unknown, Superfast Matchbox no. 56 III Tailer.

Hotwheels Lamborghini Diablo, no name Toyota Supra.

Siku Volkwagen Beetle Police car, Maisto Chevrolet Suburban (?).

No name Lexus, Maisto 2000 Pontiac Piranha.

That's all for now!

Wow, I can?

I imagine I have to pay a hefty price for it though.

One's I've seen I think came out to about how much retailers charge?

Anyway, I've been somewhat active on eBay. I FINALLY scored one of the two earliest hot wheels(well, tomicas) I can remember owning. One I still have, which was a Playart Lamborghini Miura I've posted a pic of on here before. I shelled out more cash on this new one than I have for any single car before this. I tried haggling, but he wasn't having any. I will post a pic of it when it comes in. :)

Edit: Finally gave in and got the S-TH S2000 for the full price. It's all Jason's fault. 👎

👍

I had to choose one, since I've been hemorrhaging cash lately. Between the 599XX & S2000, it was an easy decision for me. Had they actually cut out the holes for all those gills on the Ferrari, it would've been a different story. :D Don't get me wrong, they still look super cool. 👍

I also got the same S-TH Chevelle you have. Been looking for that one, and I finally got it for a decent price. I can't wait to get them all in the mail!

What other cars have the same wheels as the Super 599?

Super 288 GTO- ive got that one
One of the real riders- DB4 zagatos (got that too)

- Ahhhh computer wont upload pictures, will have to use my work computer tomorrow

There was a Ferrari released in one of the garage series from a year or two ago. Also the Fiero from this years Boulevard series has them.

I wish there was a cheaper way of obtaining nicer wheels. Gutting a nicely made cast for its wheels seems like a waste.

My majorette corvette came in the mail today. It brings back so many memories of my brother and I playing with it in the backyard in the dirt. Pics to come this weekend.
