Dude, just do the math. Those cars generally sold for $3 a piece. 40(dollars) divided by 30(cars). Personally, if there was a small child between me & this set, I'D TOTALLY PULL A CANO.

AND I WOULDN'T REGRET A 🤬 THING!!!!

Alright alright, it's late here and my mind's not working. :P Barely know a thing about the Garage series, but I always found the cars in the selection interesting. Seeing how expensive they are elsewhere... Maybe I'll stop by tomorrow...(Midnight here, so more like today.) There were two sets hidden on the very bottom shelf. So maybe there still there? :nervous:

If you can, get me one. I usually don't ask for cars from other members, but $40 + shipping, I have to try. If it indeed is that same 30 car set, that is. :P

I'll see about it. $80...well still less than buying off of eBay.

I thought Tuesday Morning was only a local store where I live. Even if I did know it was a chain, I wouldn't expect a lot of people to know about it.
I love that store though. So many nice things cheap. đź‘Ť

Been awhile since I've purchased any Tomica's off E-Bay and I had some money burning a hole in the paypal account, so I thought, why the hell not? Ordered this and this.

All I can say today is that all you guys are nuts. Good thing I'm not one of you. I'll just follow a6m5's good example and limit myself to not collecting.

Ace - if there is anything left of that loot - I want the entire balance of it. And go back to the attic and look again, would you? I remember about a year and a half ago Ryou (IIRC) had the same kind of luck and discovered all kinds of childhood stuff packed away in his attic including a whole bag of very old HWs.

Got some more pics for you all. First are the cars that I got in a trade with Medigo.

I picked these up at a supermarket on the way home from work today. A Maisto Ford Raptor, Chrysler 300 and a Lamborghini Aventador. Also a Matchbox Exige.

^ Cool MB's commodoreben đź‘Ť, thought i'd post this link (came across it the other day), it's in French, but it shows the old catalogues of the MB line up, i used to have quite a few of the catalogues, and spent hours the other night just going through this site reminiscing about the MB i used to own... the pages take a while to load and the catalogues only go up to the year 2000, but it shows all the variations of the cars. Just scroll down the page for the line up of catalogues.

Whats your ebay id ace? and would you ship them to Australia?

It would just cost u more!

Ill post my Ebay ID when I get the pics up and there for sale, cos I cant remember!

Cool 80s Matchboxes, Ben. I really like so many from that era, and they are awfuly difficult to find here.

EDIT: 9,600

Props to the USPS. These cars were sent to me on Monday, standard mail, from Florida and I received them yesterday. Crazy stuff.

Oh, and these were FREE. :D

I think I need to add an AE86 into my Retro Sports sub-series, and a Tacoma into my Classic Racers sub-series.

Glad to see that Ben got his stuff and the cards still look straight! :D

Was able to stop by Tuesday Morning on the way home from school. Unfortunately to not arouse suspicion, I bought one... But I plan on buying another once my paycheck comes in this week. So no worries a6m5! And they are the same exact packages. Here's my rather crappy picture of it.

If the second set turns out to be sold by the time I get there, I could still send some of the cars loose.

I have one of those stores not far from me. Problem is I don't want to spend $40 for the whole setup when I only want a few cars.

Saturn1600Turbo, You can offer to sell the ones you don't want to us here. Just name the cars you're not selling and how much you're charging per individual car. :)

When I first saw them about a month ago at TM, I didn't think much of it. But looking closer, I quite like the cars in the set. Despite my biased towards Japanese and European cars. By the way, it's not just the 30 car Garage set there. There's some Tomica sets for really cheap! Like a two car set with a paper map (probably give the map to a younger family member or throw it away) for only $2. But they're also have a 25% off clearance on a lot of stuff. I'd say it's worth checking out anyways. There were several scale models there too. (Bought my black Yat Ming 1/24 scale GT-R there!) Although the ones at my store are now just PT Cruisers... :ouch:

Are they sold exclusively at Tuesday Morning?

Well...not really. It's just left over stock I'm guessing from that was given to them.

I could take some out of my set that I bought and send you some. :P

Also, if anyone wants a Tomica Daihatsu Mira and Mitsubishi iMiEV, I bought the last set at my store and I'll be happy to trade. :D

Too bad that set doesn't have this:

Because this Drag Beetle looks pretty mean!

Medigo, if there's stuff that's cheap you think we'll like, you gotta tell us about it.
