Okay, I'm not going to wait anymore. I just hope the individuals saw the photo and will respond to it. In the mean time, I'll show you guys a new backdrop, featuring (some of) Jason's car.

Dude AOS! Huge thanks on the Impreza man!

As for the meet, got about 12 cars for $17. Basically what we need to do is have you guys list a few cars you absolutely cannot live without and I'll try to remember if I saw them. :)

Ok, I'll tell you guys :P..........

The 80's Decades Hachi-Roku. FINALLY!!! And it was the last one also.

@R1600: 12 cars for $17 bucks?! That's a steal right there, especially on older HWs. Look out for these:

Honda Civic Type-R EP3
McLaren F1 GTR
Shelby Daytona Coupe
Nissan Skyline GTR R34
Nissan GTR R35
Nissan 370Z Z34
Dodge Viper ACR
Porsche 911 Turbo 930
Mercedes SL500 R1
Mercedes C-Class
Ford Cosworth Escort RS
Toyota Supra MK4
Chevy Corvette C4

Thanks :).

There's a lot of cars I don't wanna live without once I learn of it. What do you recall seeing? Any CLK-LMs?

PM me for your Impreza_.

It was actually 13 cars for $19, and one of them is a TH. :D

There was a silver EP3, loose silver R34, and that's it. Nothing else from your list. We should probably do these lists next thursday though, or figure out a better way to do this...

Yes, I did see a few of the CLK-LM's. Although I wouldn't call the cards in great shape.

I care about cars, not cards. ;)

@VSpec, Hell to the no. SLR McLaren is one of my favourite Mercs of all time.

Have some Hot Ones.

Well even with 1 more added it still a bet though.

But that Silver EP3 and R34 are good ones right now. Even though I need a few of the 2010s R34 (Two more in silver one in blue), but the loose one is still good, I'll take both. :)

figure out a better way to do this...

Do you have any pictures of the meeting? Or are there any pics of the meetings in, I don't know, someone's Facebook or a website or something? That way we would know what to expect/look forward to.

Buy me a Toyota 4x4 and send with the Impreza! :D

The TRU I once abandoned finally got their act together and luckily, not a lot of people buy from that store.

They had a great selection of whatever mix Hot Ones that was, but I basically grabbed one of each seen in that post. There was a lot of Spoiler Sports, and Chevy Blazers. Unsure about the Toyota Truck, but I wouldn't doubt it. If anyone wants me to grab more, let me know.

Two of the Toyota, two of the blue Torino, please (:

You're adding an awful lot to your cart. I hope you don't go "WTH CHEAP SHIPPING MAN CHEAP SHIPPING" in the end. I realllly hope not. :P

Ah, of course I'll ask you for the cheapest shipping possible, but it will probably still be a lot of money, lol. When we're done with this little venture, just let me know the shipping costs and we'll cover it. Remember we're sharing shipping and, er, paying you, lol, so it's not as harsh as if it was just me.

I allllllllso hope you won't charge $14 for 4 cars like your E-Bay friend.

Not really. :indiff: I think what I will have you guys do is PM me a list of 5 to 10 cars you are looking for. I will print this list and keep it with me on Fridays. If I see something from the list, I'll buy it. The only way I will do this though is if you guys are really willing to buy. Don't want to get stuck with cars I don't want/need. :P

Just the Toyota. Please and thank you. :P

My local Wal-Mart doesn't do Hot Ones or Boulevard anymore. :(

I don't want to give you a list, Jason, because you'rengoing to be bringing around a turn-in paper. Could you give me (or us) an idea what you generally saw there? Year-wise and possibly series, please.

Oiy, I'd say mostly mid 90's on up, with some occasional older stuff. It's really spread out. You can't think of 10 cars you reallllly want?

Also, gets from tonight minus the Isuzu VehiCROSS I got for trade bait.

This, absolutely. We need to see what's in there in order to know what we want, lol. Remember that many... nay, most of us collect a very wide variety of cars, unlike you that specialize in japanese stuff, for example. We need to see.

Here's my problem: There's usually 5 to 6 very large tables set up with thousands of cars on them. Then you have the guy with the moving fan full of crap. There's just no way to photograph everything, especially expecting them to be there the next week as these people also sell at other places around the valley. It just HAS to be a "know before I go" situation.

I can't believe you guys don't have a running list of things you are looking for.

I do. :dopey:

Tell us then a more precise description of the kind of cars/series you see there.

For example, are there any loose 80s Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars?
Are there other brands like Tomica/Majorette/Playart?
Are there modern premium series like Garage/Boulevard/Classics/Hot Ones? If so (because I'm almost sure there are), how much?

Also, we are not asking you to photograph everything. 10-15 phone pictures showing the general vibe of the meeting will help us see what we can expect; it's sure different if we see a bunch of redlines than if we see a bunch of bluecards. It will serve to give us an idea of what you could find there, and then we could make a list.

CLK-LMs, I want a lot of them.... any (real, not fantasy) race cars, rally cars, if you find any, tell me.

Also, I'll be grabbing so many of those Civics. You have no idea how many cars I've decided to put J5s or MB 10spokes on when they should've been that.

Lastly, because I'm such a nice guy:

Found 3 Astons and 2 Camaros, keeping at least one of each carded. Got Sonygamer a Rigor Motor, one Impreza PR5 for Jason, and I think someone was drooling over a Dune Daddy the other day... edit: it was also Sonygamer.

AOS,
Anymore of the PR5 Subies liying around?

80's car? Few, but yes. Most loose and/or slightly "used".

Brands Available - HotWheels, Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, Racing Champions

Premium Series - Yes. Treasure Hunts, Hot Ones, Garage, etc, etc.

How much? Well I'd have to ask. Prices vary enough I can't give you a hard answer. Most mainlines run from .50 cents up to $2-3.

There are no redlines. Honestly about 80% of what you will find there is mid-90's + mainline Hotwheels.

Well, I think I could put together a list of stuff I could use that you could possibly find over there; but how could we do this? I mean you have the list and if you find it, you could post live from the place, like "Cano I found this car, it's in good condition and they want $X for it, want it?" kinda stuff? Could it be possible for you to provide a pic on the spot?

Possible, yes. Each photo would take a few minutes each. Keep in mind it would be from a cell phone from a dark parking lot.

Yeah, I know. 'Sides, I also know you know when a car is in good shape or bad shape and what an according price could be. I'll try to have a list by next friday, most surely co mplete with pics so you know what to look for 👍

Like I said, creepy Friday Night meetup in a dark parking lot with a dude pulling his van around every week with thousands of toys or sale. Such a dodgy scene :P

But mid-90's. That's all I need to hear. I'll work on a list Saturday evening.

I got these tonight. Slowest night, ever.

But I also found this:

How much can I get for this on eBay? It's missing a spoiler, and it's packaged looking the wrong way. Unless you are Matchbox!

At first, I saw the missing spoiler, but I put it back. I made a trip around the Walmart store, then I changed my mind. Only after I was at the cash register I realized the car was inserted the wrong way also.
