That Chevy Van really do hit the spot. It's sweet!

Sure does, i loved that thing.

 It's just reminded me of my first ever 1/64 custom (if you can call it that)... i had that same Chevy van but also several years later had a tow-truck version (red, blue, white and grey colour scheme). Anyway, i ended up cutting off the tow arm & hook, the van had a kind of pick-up rear end with roll bars... it looked sweet. (it still had a pushable white roof wind-breaker that had to stay though).

Am I the only one who noticed that $miglo's Olds 442 W-30 was packaged the wrong way?
Oh, snap!

It takes away from my Mazda Fuerror greatness though. :guilty:

You should post it in the custom thread, if you still have it.

Weird Jeep box... i always remembered the boxes being quite square (depth and height), whereas that box looks a little thin.... The Jeep had large off-road wheels (quite high, same as that Ford mountain man pick-up), how did it fit in that tiny box?

The Jeep picture is just the generic box art I think. The box has a Semi printed on another side and on the end of the box it has the Cobra Mustangs name printed on it.

Oh right, first time iv'e seen those, come to think of it, i don't ever recall seeing the other style of boxes (yellow with red grid)... i knew they existed but don't remember them being sold like that in the UK, i just remember various styles of illustrated boxes then a sudden jump to the blue (red, yellow and white stripe) hanging boxes showing visible car. I'm guessing the yellow boxes where a US/AUS/rest of the world thing.

Great Matchbox grabs, Ben. I had never seen the Vette in those colors.

@ Cano. I hope you plan on molding the hell outta those wheels on the Aoshima RX-3.

If it comes screwed together instead of with rivvets, I'm gonna reproduce them. They look like Hayashi Streets:

I hope it's screwed!!... (i mean that in the nicest possible way of-course), Hayashi streets =

PS, In the UK, that MB Vette was quite a common colourway, still cool though.

Whats that car in the middle(on the left)?

All the Corgi London 2012 racers are fantasy castings (to comply with no advertising rules ) but yeah it does look Toyota GT1-ish. Just curious, what did you think it was?

Is mars rover still rare or not any more ?

There were only two when I went in. I think its not so much rare as just many people are buying it when they see one because its a great model.

Carbonator's one fantasy TH which I wouldn't be interested in usually, but I'd definitely break that thing open, and open some Mexican pop bottles with it.

I would just be happy to find any Carbonator, I don't think that casting ever comes to the UK because I haven't ever seen one for years.

Angry Birds are all being horded here though.

I saw one, didn't want it!

Honestly, It looks like a LMP1 car to me, Maybe the R18 (though I'm only seeing this from above and making this guess.

Found 3 Astons and 2 Camaros, keeping at least one of each carded. Got Sonygamer a Rigor Motor, one Impreza PR5 for Jason, and I think someone was drooling over a Dune Daddy the other day...
Sorry for the late reply.:scared: Now, this is awesome!:dopey: I'm telling you AOS- if I had paypal or some way of getting them from you, i would!;) If I can I will try.;) Are they Rigor Motors common where you are? Also how much are you wanting for the Dune Daddy and the Rigor Motor? or is it free?:sly::lol:
edit: it was also Sonygamer.
Yea I'm not a difficult person to impress when it comes to Hot Wheels, especially when it's ones my dad used to collect!:dopey:
This one here I've had since it came out that I love? :P

Oh yes! My dad has that one!💡 He loved it the first time he saw it, so when went to KB Toys(back when it was open) a few years back, he got it for $5, usually he won't pay that much for Hot Wheel but he did! He loves it, but however, there is a small dent on the roof that was on it when he got and there's no way to fix it.
Hey ladies. :P

Got a new error to show you HW heads. Found it in a 9 pack two days ago during the chaotic days after hurricane Sandy. Figured since public transportation was down and mass traffic here in NYC, no collectors were out hunting. Thank God for my cruiser board!

Please excuse the pics if they're too large. I'm doing everything from my phone since there's no internet or power on my block. I've resized them but sometimes photobucket takes a while.

Well, here she is. An unspun/unrivited Triumph TR6.
Wow, that would be a good find for noobs like me who want to paint or do wheel swaps but don't fully understand how to use a Dremel!

Here is what I believe to be a possible error with the base of the vehicle.

This is a 2007 Teams Street Beasts II Sharkruiser I got back when it came out, when I got it noticed the axles were really wobbly and the vehicle didn't roll too well, unlike the other ones I owned. So 5 years later I finally decided to open it and I found this:

Look on the base, notice the prongs that are supposed to hold the axles in place are not cringed together to hold the axle like there supposed to? They're just sticking straight up.:ouch: P.S. Sorry for the picture quality.:ouch:

Is this an error or no?
Is mars rover still rare or not any more ?
I still haven't seen it anywhere where I live, but my Wal Mart sucks because I am still yet to find that one, the Mystery Machine and the Minion Pig.:indiff:

Edit: Reuploaded since I no longer need Photobucket.

No, that's not considered an error. Collectors don't open their cars; Customizing Hobbyists do though.

If you can't get me money, we can trade. PM will arrive shortly.

DON'T DO IT!!!

Unspuns are amongst the most valuable of errors. I'd say they're on par with $upers, value wise.

Oh well i thought it was a manufacturing error or something. Is it possible all Sharkruisers are like that?
EDIT: Replied to PM.;)

R1600Turbo
Hey M, do you have or can you get another blue Civic with the all-orange wheels?

Nope, only have one that was sent as a RAOK. I remember suprakid on HWC found quite a few of them. Not sure if he still has them, but you could probably try asking him.

EDIT: If you really need it, I may consider a trade. :D

AOS-
Hah, I've opened about 5 cars like this already. It's all scrap material now.

And you never thought anything of it? Lol.

What cars were they?

R1600Turbo
For what? :P

Not sure. I guess PM me a list of stuff you'd trade for it and I'll see if I could use something.

This is the first post showing the things I nabbed at todays ToyManShow. As always, my posts are littered with what we all want....PICTURES!!! :sly: I've started with the lower end grabs, but with each post the value and awesomeness will increase. I'll finish off with a small Tomica explosion that I and YOU will not believe.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Let the fun begin

I'm always amazed when I hit the monthly toy show. It costs $20 to get a table but some folks are selling at basment prices. The first guy I stop at is selling cars out of HUGE bins 10 cents/piece. I didnt have the time required to look through everything, but I did nab 40+ pieces.

The standout is the Cement Mixer.
I think it was only released once, but I cannot find it on Southtexas..so not really sure.

Look Cano! A Mercury Sable Wagon.

A bunch of neat MB Super GTs

Off Brands

I spent a good 5 minutes trying to transorm the Bandai Fiero without luck.
Seeing as I was 2 when these came out, I have no idea how they work.
Also included here is a Majorette Motors. They work the same as Darda, but the engine is enclosed.

IMG_0768.jpg

I could not believe my eyes when I spotted the Darda.

The Boxter, BMW and Merc are all Pullbacks. The bottom two are Mattel First Wheels from 1979. My favorite out of everything I nabbed for a dime is the Pullback BMW and for being my favorite it wins a Close-up.
