It's on my "holy grail" or must-have list, but I simply can't pay that much with my budget. Just gotta keep checking for a better deal. :indiff:

So that '64 Ford Falcon Sprint boulevard....

That would make for a REALLY resourceful donor for custom bodies and wheelswaps.

It's got Size 1/2 RR5SPs, it can be turned into a lowrider, hot rod, and be an addition to the Stealth Project and Black Series. Hmm...so many ideas.

My share for this morning:

Yeah, when you get to that point, it looks more like a small, unorganized store than a collection.

Word, dude. The thing is one of the worse HW castings in history.

I actually kind of like the "my own private store" effect with certain things. I open all my HWs, though. (Unless they're ones I have some specific reason for keeping sealed.)

Argh, still tempted to get that Matchbox 20 car pack at TRU! Mazda2 and Aeromax do it for me, as well as some other cars I can't remember at the moment.

Anyways, just got my package from Ben! Though the packaging was a tad overkill for just two normal mainline cars. :P Don't know, but the quality of the Bentley Continental Supersports is amazing. (for a Hot Wheels) Love it! :D

Hey MedigoFlame nice Goldeneye watch by those Bentley's.

Thanks! It's actually "new" (still has the plastic covering and all that). Not sure where it came from, randomly found it on the kitchen table one morning and when I saw it I couldn't help but think of Goldeneye. Taking a closer look I noticed it was actually the one. I'm guessing my uncle, who works at Goodwill may have brought it by when he visited.

Headed to alamrt because my ride home from work was held back by a car accident on the highway. Grabbed a carded Vector for Cano, and talked to a collector for about 40 minutes. This guy is a real collector; he's been going to the states for K-day! His memory is terrible though, but can I blame 50 year-old man for not having good memory? In any case, Barrie's Walmarts (and No Frills even!) have better stuff than Mississauga according to him. We don't even get cars here in No Frills! If we did, the one that's 5 minutes away would be raided bi-daily. :grumpy: I found another Impreza with PR5 wheels and I gave that one to him since I already have 2. Sorry, Jason. :P

If I find a variation, I'll take it, but I won't go out of my way for them though. Recolours on the other hand.... let's just say I need to watch my wallet. :ill:

A lot of trades goes on there, eh?

It's been slow for me, but I did get these two from eBay this week:

Purchase of Dino of course was inspired by Cano's absolutely gorgeous Ferrari series Dino. One I got I think is from the "Garage" series, and I was pleasantly surprised by the nice details on it. 👍

Have any of you attempted wheel swap on a Tomica? I love this SLS, but those wheels are just, wow, they are really bad.

Wheelswap on a Tomica?

Flat black PR5s....

Going to be doing one on a Mitsuoka too with J5s.

I'm going to resist signing up on HWC. I already have an unhealthy obsession with hot wheels in general and joining a site that has access to even more information is the last thing I need to be doing.

This thread is nothing compared to HWC. Spread your wings a little guys. :P

For someone who considers this the full-time hobby, or are looking to expand it, I'm sure that is an excellent suggestion. 👍

@AOS: Now you are talking. I don't know what type of wheels are on Mitsuoka, but you should do one with the infamous tomiyucky wheels on them. Improvement should be pretty remarkable! *edit I couldn't see it before, but that is those tomiyucky rims. My bad. And yes, it looks much, much better. 👍

Where did you get the donor wheels?

black 4-spoke dinky pieces of plastic? The Exige has them.... the Mitsuoka has them too. I swapped the Exige's in no time

It actually didn't look that bad on your Exige(what a fine car that one is 👍), but yeah, it is absolutely horrid on my SLS.

Yeah, this and the customizing thread are enough for me right now.
I know I would have absolutely no life at all if I spent time on HWC; I do have a profile over there though.
