Might this be a good time to ask others to grab cars for others should they be unfortunate to find said cars?

Speaking of Chapparel's, got one tonight along with a few other cars for you guys to fight over:

...and picked these up for myself. Got everything you see in this post for less than $20.

The first 350Z?

And are those MR2s?

Fight over? That CLK-LM is mine, is it not?

Also, I have your 3 cars boxed up and ready to ship. It's probably going to be $7 to ship the cheapest, but you can probably cut the waiting time by a week and add insurance for I'm guessing $10.

I've sent one package to McNoname here, it still hasn't arrived yet and we're nearing a month's time now.

I guess they only came out with a few different styles of the regular 350Z and haven't touched the casting since.

Turns out I actually have the purple MR2 already, may just customize the extra. Yes the CLK is yours, I was talking about the GT1's for fighting. (couldn't find the first edition one)

PM me with a total when you ship meh carz. :P

Mah Car Lords!!! Those racecars!

But dang you guys got the good stuff! :grumpy:

Hey Jason, did you see that loose R34 and any EP3 Civics?

I already have that version of the GT1. I am looking specifically for the one with the real racing livery, just as the one Wyvern posted.

Thanks for remembering, tho 👍

I knew which one you needed, but I didn't see any so I bought these ones instead. Although now that I think about it I should have only bought one of them. Can't go buying all these cars cause if nobody is interested in them, then I'm stuck with them. :grumpy:

If you need a taker for CLK or GT1 or whatever, I'll take one with that Mystery Machine I hope you still have on reserve. I'm not really into those, but it'll be a nice "add" to the collection as I don't have anything like that.

Here's my haul from the Walmart:

How do they cost like $3.88, when you end up with just three cars to a package? :odd: No matter, I had to have the Gasser Chevy & the new R34. Yellow Aussie Falcon adds nice variation to the line-up.

Close up of the "Holiday Rods" '58 Corvette:

They had all of the Holiday Rods series with the exception of the Bread Box & Classic Nomad. I owe it to this Walmart lady who was putting sheet away. She saw me going through the Hot Wheels & told me about their "Holiday's" section where they got more Hot Wheels. Took time to walk me half way across the store, and it sure was worth it. She was questioning the layout people to set the stuff away from other Hot Wheels, but I have absolutely no doubt that they've been long gone, had they ended up with the rest of toy cars, so I was actually a happy camper. :D I think they were $2.17 or something like that. Jason, if you find the Bread Box double, I'd be interested. ;)

I do have a CLK(I think like the left one). I forgot I have the cheap piece of nice looking crap. Nice T-Hunt bus there, Harry. :)

Edit: 3-Pack's preeeeety sweet.

A Matchbox 3 pack with the Rock N Rescue Holden Ute. It was the first time I have seen the Holden on the pegs over here. If it wasn’t for Medigo it would have been the first time I saw one in person.

What really sucks is that there was this another collector dude. He actually helped me find the Holiday Rods series Bread Box, but he also took the Carbonator that I was just about 30 seconds away from. I'm going thru these pegs after he was done, then he comes back, reaches right to the Carbonator, which he probably left right in front, then mutters "I don't know why, but I have a friend who's looking for one.....".

So close. I grabbed the money clip car thing as a (very sucky)consolation prize, and that dumb looking plow car? I saw on a video that plow is metal. I thought that was kind of cool, and it's only .97 cents!

RE: 3-Packs, I liked the ones I got tonight, but it really should be $3 even.

OK, I had to look up "Itasha", because it obviously didn't mean the "Itasha" I was familiar with("Ita" for Italy, "sha" for car). Wiki's my friend, and the new meaning for Itasha makes no sense.

As far as I know, Itasha literally means "pain car". I don't know how pain is associated with it. Probably the "pain" of having a tattoo?

As I said, I had to look it up on wiki, and the explanation there was bit iffy also. It said that "pain" might be associated with driving such car "painfully" embarrassing or the actual process being painfully expensive. Actually, your tattoo explanation makes more sense than either of those.

Edit: It actually reminds me of the 70's American vans with Star Wars & stuff on it.

'Itasha' means 'pain car', it refers to cars with Japan comics' characters painted on it.
The reason it's got this name is because 'paint car' (the actual meaning) is similar to 'pain car' ('痛車' in Japanese/Traditional Chinese). ;)

...Or maybe you actually know what it means, then I'll look like a big fool.
