As far as I know, Itasha literally means "pain car". I don't know how pain is associated with it. Probably the "pain" of having a tattoo?

The pain of having to put up with people ruining nice cars with anime decals.

Indeed, the same can be said with 10 packs as well. Seen a few yesterday i have never seen before.

Tell me about it, after picking up a 10 pack that contained a rare Aston (thanks again AOS) yesterday. I'm going to start paying attention at them more regularly now.

It's not really designed off a stock car anyway so it might look weird with the stock spoiler. More of a SuperGT style.

And I'll believe the $uper when I see it.

The Acura is not a Super this year.

Yeah, Super THs are crazy expensive. I've bought a couple as a investment. I wonder if they will go up in value......

'Itasha' means 'pain car', it refers to cars with Japan comics' characters painted on it.
The reason it's got this name is because 'paint car' (the actual meaning) is similar to 'pain car' ('痛車' in Japanese/Traditional Chinese).

...Or maybe you actually know what it means, then I'll look like a big fool.

OK, I explained that originally, Itasha used to stand for Italian cars. I went to the Japanese wikipedia page this time, and it claims that this new "Itasha" is a play on that original nickname in regards to Italian cars, but as the English wikipedia page said, word "ita" now refers to pain. The Japanese page claims that origin of the (re)naming is unknown, but it certainly came from the cars looking so embarrassing, that it's painful for the onlookers to see.

I don't know about you guys, but you have to like anime a lot to do that to your car. I remember seeing Dodge/Chevy/Ford vans with Millennium Falcon, X-Wing & Tie Fighter shooting at each other, or other pictures on them, back when I was a kid. I thought that was cool then, I still think it was kind of cool.

Maybe if I see cars with Gundam, or Crusher Joe or something, I might actually like it.

Edit: These are the Star Wars vans I was referring to. It is absolutely criminal that they make a "Itasha" RX-7, but not these vans. I'd buy them.

Edit: P.S. To me, Gundam is the simple crap from the late 70's to early 80's. None of that fancy 90's+ crap.

Okey i went to wal mart today and i found the 2013 mustang, looked on HWC and doesn't say it is a treasure hunt anymore, it did when i first looked at but now it doesn't! I know we discussed it earlier, but is it a treasure hunt or not? Im alittle confused.

I prefer the busier looking(and darker) paint job on the Hot Wheels, but yeah, I checked out the article, and that real life X-Wing van is absolutely smashing!

I'm going to make a box for each person here and just start putting all your stuff in them. Then when they fill up I'll send them out.

A Ford Courier Van in Milka livery, I had been looking for this for a long time to replace the one from my childhood, a Sydney 2000 Torch Relay Car Commodore. I remember the torch relay going past the house I used to live in, a Vauxhall Astra GTE in STP livery, another car from my childhood, a Australian Limited Edition Mitre 10 Stock Car and a Viper RT/10.

Couple of Toyotas in there really do it for me, Ben. 👍 Drag Bus are fascinating Hot Wheels to me. I hope to get one or two in the future. Had Medigo came through with that "Garage" set for me awhile back.....

Damn, I was kinda hoping that yellow Falcon was a exclusive to 3-pack. I'll probably buy another one of the R34 GT-R.

I don't know if you saw my post earlier, but I just missed the Carbonator at Walmart. I ended up winning the one on eBay for $4.47. .99 cents for the car, rest for the shipping.
