Damn, Jarrod. You never let us down! Well done, well done. 👍

I got bunch of stuff in the mail today.

IMG_2135.jpg

New retro entertainment line Ghostbusters + Celica Rally from the same eBay seller Andy also bought bunch of stuff from. Also Speed Machines cars from wyvern, plus a bonus truck(thank you dude!). Finally, Fast Fish Treasure Hunt. I've found the Camaro cop car TH twice, but I could never find this on the pegs. Thanks eBay.

More CMS/CM'S cars. I really recommend these cars. Downside is that they all come opened. They are basically sold sealed new, but you have to find out which car you got by opening them. eBay seller open them, then sell them accordingly. They all seem to come with antennas(not shown) you pop in on the roof for display. I got my STi rally car last time. I FINALLY got my coveted Lancia Stratos, and it didn't let me down. Car is beautiful, Celica looks great, and compared to Kyoshos, they are bit more affordable.
Nice looking cars there guys, going to have to search for some of those:tup:
I could say the same to you! I especially love that adorable red 2000GT. 👍
Argh you people. I have a horrid weekend and can't even log in, and when I do I've got 437856+ pages to read. Give these things some rest got dammit!
Speed. Read.

:P
Impressive! Hontouni sugoi desu yo!

There is also a plain body version of this painted in British racing green. Hmmmm.... I might add that to my Kyosho hunt list. Hopefully the store has it by tomorrow. :P
Angato! :D

I meant to ask you before, but what kind of deal do you get on these Kyoshos? I don't think we could get them any lower than $10~$20 range shopping for them in the States.
Very nice grab on that XJR-9, Shinji. I never saw that one in 3 different eBay stores I browsed for Kyoshos.
Thanks man. I just did a eBay search for "kyosho", then went to the diecast, selected 1:64 scale, then set the search criteria on lowest price first. 👍

P.S. LOVE what looks like a Hot Wheels Delivery series Ford F-Series box/truck/van thing. That Buick Century's so money, but I wish they had colored light on top!
What kind of Hakosuka are those on the left? They look really detailed....... Also, how did you get my favorite Lexus LS/Toyota Celsior? Tomica?
those wheels on the Circle Trucker :yuck:
Sorry Medigo, but I have to agree. Who cares though, eh? It's Treasure Hunt!
My mom sent me this picture.
You actually got it from Nippon, huh? Not to worry, I can read Japanese. It says: "Cavity search turned out fine, wash the car before going boom-boom." :P
The only thing I have to add today is that I stopped by my local Target last night. Still nearly empty pegs, scanned a car and still nothing in the back room. Getting a bit annoyed that they haven't stocked anything new for weeks. :ouch:
It's been the same here. Some new & not-so-exciting dump bins that's been ransacked many times over, that's about it.
Almost done both of them.
Very cool, but you, or someone need to break the mold, and build one that looks like a highrise parking, racetrack, or assembly plant or something. Might take a year to build, but it'll be worth it.

Probably.
Picked this up today, I don't know if it's rare or not but I like it.

Early 2012 Megido would say that it's an unbelievably rare car, but I think it was an New England thing. Nonetheless, very cool car. 👍
Tenth picture, and the one I abused the most - a Toyota Celica Turbo Tomica casting, 1/62nd scale, (c) 1979. No idea where this one came from, and I'm wondering what you all think of it.
Are you sure you still have that? I bought one just like it on eBay. :dopey:

I agree, CM's is a great brand of 1/64s, though they are only making rally cars.

When I was in HK last Christmas, I saw a lot of those, especially the Stratos and the Stratos Gr. 5. I am regretting that I didn't buy the latter. :(

I think that should've been broom-broom.

For those of you who didn't know what that label was, it's customs.

Not "vroom vroom"? It is a car after all.

Also, I swear it came from Hong Kong, not Japan. It doesn't matter now anyway.
I'm just so happy it came today and not between its estimated delivery dates of March 4th to the 20th.

Edit: Butbutbut Jason, why would I want that car when I have this shining (excuse the pun) example of a Johnny Lightning one?

Well, at least they are not very expensive. I hope you find one soon!

I guess my engrish was showing. :dopey: Yeah, both stickers are in Japanese, one of them was actually marked Japanese postal service.

Just a heads up to anyone that has a box of cars from me, I'll have them all packed up and ready to ship by Friday. So be ready to pay. :)

Yes, I would have said it was hard to find. :P

Anyways, for those of you who purchase diecast of of Daboxtoys, JNC's offering a 7.5% discount when you use a coupon code on their website. (Feel like I'm doing a plug) If I could only buy stuff online...

Latest e-Bay purchases.

Sick RX-7, Jarrod.

More CMS/CM'S cars.

How crazy cool are they? I was contemplating on grabbing some the other day (you probably grabbed the exact items I was looking at).

I'm not into building replicas. That ends up looking tacky for the house itself. I have a small sense of interior design and how something will affect the image of my room matters more to me and my family in the long run than the thing itself. I know I'm a hobbyist, but I don't want to come off as a blatant toy car junkie. So no. :P

More stuff: The onry Flying Customs I got from Case A:

Seems like the edge of the plaque in the background don't work as well as the graphic text I used in previous photos.

My first Kyosho showed up today.

IMG_2113.jpg

I wasn't familiar with them, so I went with one of the cheapest ones I found on eBay(roughly $11).

Oh now I really like that. Damnit, now I want it.

BuickCenturyPoliceblack_zps7a725545.jpg

A neat little ol '56 Buick Century. It's upright crammed posture looks cute.
[/color]

I thought that one looked cool as well, picked it up a couple weeks ago.

I'm out of the loop - are those 1:64 scale? Either way they look great.

This Boulevard is a must have for me this year, and should be for anyone a fan of 'Christine'.

Nice, will pick that up whenever it gets out.

I went to a Walgreens last week that must have had like 40 of those. It's like they got a whole shipper of them.

Got some HW Racing cars in the mail today, and a couple garage cars. Might take a pic later this week.

👍

Oh man how I wish I had a spare grand or two... :(
I almost checked out. Had second thoughts, and I backed out. :D

I was talking out of my butt. :D maybe we can get harry to do it. he's crafty enough.......

Those Tomicas are awesome, too, Spacegoat.

Forget about my cars, your avatar is so epic.
Oh screw you.
Make that two.

Thanks guys.
Sick RX-7, Jarrod.

Thanks and great pics as usual.👍
Damn, Jarrod. You never let us down! Well done, well done. 👍

Same could be said about you. Those CMS Rally cars are killer. Yeah, yeah the Stratos is great and all that, but personally the Celica is my pick of the two.👍

I can mark these off tonight.

Which "cars for your display" do you speak of? Anything in my frame displays isn't going anywhere. ;)

Oh, I meant if you were planning to have the cars that I wanted in one of your display cases or for a later custom. That's what I meant, not from your displays. ;)

Cano
Make that two.

Care to add another? Screw you Jarrod! Give the cars to MEEEE!!!!

Oh yeah R1600, you have any spare yellow S2Ks or 370Zs you're not using or don't have anything planned with them yet?

And let me know when you're going back to the Friday meets too. And can you give me the total of how much I owe you also? I won't have the money yet this week, but if you give me the total, I can see how much I need. Thanks in advance. 👍

@AOS: Never mind, I don't like the Tooned cars and I thought you were showing off a custom S15, my bad. :embarrassed::dunce::P

those hakosuka's are Hotwheels, i just detailed them, from the interior(guages..etc to new wheels, The LS430/celsior is a motormax, and is one of my best details yet, even has felt. Glad you like them, also the R34 is also a Hotwheels, You see back when i didn't have a job, i would just detail my own hotwheels, I would get "Is that a tomica limited" alot or even kyosho to... I still love to detail today aswell

Just finished stuffing my 2 cases. It took so long because I had find cars I'm not going to keep buying recolours of. In other words, whatever is in here is either blacklisted or a casting I intend to only buy that exact one of.

Bonus points if you find the easter egg.

Yup. I didn't realize it was too wide so the back board is now clamping the rear axle against the glass.

However, that's not the easter egg so no candy for you.
