Edit: Can you guys with Walmarts near by keep an eye out for this for me? 3-packs are always by the registers. Only talking about the MC5 version on the left. I'm pretty sure I'll have no issues finding the yellow 10SP version as it's the normal release...

I can, but what is that Falken MOPAR looking thing? Is that available as a single?
It said to bid $11 or more but time had already run out, I can't click that fast. :(
Ah, my bad. :D

I don't get it.

I've seen 3-packs on the pegs, but this is never the case. Probably because they charge you more to sell fewer cars, which defies logic!

^^ It's a Cuda. ;)

Supposed to be yeah, in F cases which are just barely hitting stores. Some cars come out in multipacks way before singles for some reason.

NO THEY ARE NOT!
They never are! Don't lie to me!

They are around here. 3-packs are never hung in the isle with the rest of the cars.

Here the 3-packs are ever only sold at the overpriced specialty toy store.... and because they never sell, they only have the old crap on their pegs. Walmart and TRU only got 5-pack and 10-packs.

Not never, don't lie to me!!!!

Seriously though, I've seen it at Walmart, right in line with the rest of Hot Wheels. It was probably a error. :P

It's to tempt you to buy it for a few cars if you're impatient. It's worked on me once or twice. After that I stopped because I started feeling the inherit pain realizing I spent $18 just so I could get 3 or 4 cars.

Yeah I think I blew/wasted the most money out of anyone here in this thread, by far.

Three packs are by registers at Walmart or on the pegs for $6 at specialty toy stores.
No ifs ands or buts about it.

Except Walmarts here. :P

Anyway, a 4 boxes came in today. Tell me why you would put one car - ONE CAR, in a box that measures 6" x 6" x 4"? I messaged the seller about it. Granted shipping was cheap as balls anyway, I probably would've save even more if it was tinier, and yes, parcels can go smaller.

Also, I saw something weird in the pic before I ordered it, but it was true, the plastic hook wasn't assembled properly and now the tab's forever warped.

I'm sure you guys have at least one casting where it has only one rivet and the other side of the chassis plate hooks into the slot in the back of the body and plays as the license plate. This Escort does the same, and it wasn't pushed up all the way during assembly. No clue as to how long it's been like that, but it's been long enough that the even pushing it back up won't do anything. I can pull out the base that much (as seen in the photo) until it starts warpping the rest of the plate. Should've told the guy not to uncard it but oh well. It'll be a custom then.

This is what the listing picture was:

I wouldn't have wasted a good error car just to disassemble it for a custom. Would have just bought one that was perfect and started with that. Now whatever value it had to error collectors is long gone...

I thought it was an error at first, but then I looked at my other Escort I already had and it too has the back end sticking up (granted not as high), but I somehow decided to not bother and bought it anyway.

Actually, I think I did still believe it was an error, except I forgot to specify the seller not to uncard this one. Oh well. Even he didn't think it was an error.

Also, please confirm the total I mentioned in PM earlier today.

I can safely say that I've never seen any of those cars before. :D Seasiders kinda cool. 👍
I had never seen these before ether until i went in there. Like the Custom '62 Chevy, thats another truck i can't enough of!:dopey: Pity they haven't done anymore in so long, i hope they reissue it! I want make a custom of it!:dopey:
And of course you picked the most expensive ones.
Yep indeed!:D That Custom Police Crusier was the second most expensive one there when i went! (on behalf of what they were being sold for) The most expensive one was a goldish yellow Custom Mustang with no louvers! It was $55! Looked pretty good!👍 One of the many Hot Wheels i will never get.:indiff:
Nice move, and nice choice on the redlines
Thank you Cano!:) Not going to lie, that Custom Police Crusier was the reason why we even went in there in the 1st place, i honestly didn't expect to get all these vehicles at all, but i did!:D To be honest all these vehicles i got are from the same man who sold me that Thunderbird Stocker i posted earlier.;) He had a bunch of Hot Wheels redlines, old Matchbox's, Johnny Lightnings, and many other old diecast brands i had never heard of! You would have loved it!;)

the Seasider is indeed quite difficult to find with the boat and an awesome model in itself.
A very awesome model indeed!:D:tup: The man at the Antique Mall told me the same thing and i totally believe that since there is nothing to hold the boat in place. I keep a rubber band on it to keep it from falling off, however i removed it when i made the picture.;)

And yes the Oshkosh is badly custom painted.
It's actually done pretty well, it's just suffered scratches over time since it was painted. To be honest, i seen 2 of these (including mine) at the Antique Mall when i went both painted exactly the same. How unusal!💡

EDIT: Duesy is an Oldie but Goodie. Flying color was a redline.
I don't know, when i searched it on south texas diecast, i seen two orange flying colors Doozies, one with redlines, one without. See for yourself. I have no idea what series mine is from.:indiff:

EDIT: Just looked up the Custom Police Crusier on Hot Wheels Wikia and it is actually the first Hot Wheel to feature a tampo!

I've been eyeing & trying to buy certain Kyosho 935 for awhile now. They either fall through, or the seller want WAY too much money for them.

One of these days....... :D

:

True, the 935s are way too expensive. Just saw one in the store last night, and it costs 1000 pesos (more than 20 USD)

I know which cars I bought in 2012, but I never really keep track of what year casting/release they are. :dopey:

I can tell you didn't even look in the topic yet.

edit: Anyway, got some photos up of recent purchases. Clearly, this angle doesn't work well on aerodynamic body shapes.

I found this cheap twin pack. The castings are crap but it is a Viper so I had to get it. Now for the cars that I think most here will enjoy.

P1280357 by commodoreben, on Flickr
A pair of Hot Ones Supras. I even left some on the shelf. Also a Hot ones Yamaha Vmax and Dodge Rampage.

I also grabbed these Majorette Red Bull F1 Cars.

That reminds me of this I found a couple weeks ago.

Clearly it had been reglued and made the package soggy.

There was also a legitimate error of a different MBX 60th anniversary box.
It actually had a car missing in the bottom row, left column.
