And about the Mopar trucks, that's true, especially with all of the Mopars cars as well. So many options to chose between the 383s, 384s or go bigger (which is better for Mopars ) like 426 or the beast 440. But I know it's hard to find a 426 and up cubic engine inside a original Mopar that carried the engine(gotta look hard.) It is similar to finding a Hako Skyline or a TR6 Triumph in the States sometimes, but that's a different story. But getting a 384ci car and build the engine to a 440 or find a 440 engine should be easy.

And not to be a Mopar/Dodge fanboy, but 426-440ci destroy Fords and GMs, unless it's the 426-428 CJ or a L48-L62 and worse, a 454ci LS from the Chevelle.

But I just like those smokestacks though. Give the truck character though. Love to find one of these trucks with a RoadRunner and a Charger RT to own one day.

Nope, I don't have that one, I have the 1st NSX in white with the chrome interior. That was my first and my favorite one.

But I would love to find it though. Can't never have enough NSXs .

Just realized a car I ordered off eBay hasn't arrived yet, and it said Jan 29 to Feb 4th for delivery. No tracking number either, so wonder if it's even been shipped. Messaged the seller, let's see what he has to say...

Yep, I know. It's been dry for me in my area for a long time . No new cars except for that MB CTS-V Wagon and that's about it, unfortunately.

Come on people, add some new stock in the stores!

The ones in Vegas are very far away from me. Like 20-30 something miles from where I live.

I have to go out this weekend to do some business, so hopefully the stores will get in something or have something for me tomorrow or later this evening. I hope.

Older photos from some months ago, never posted . . . I'm snowed in and trapped at home for awhile till the plow arrives . . . so yay!! DVA time.

This was where I had left off last time I was opening a bunch - and it was just a couple left to finish up the session:

And then, I started thinking about some of those MBs I had gotten at that time . . . and my fingers got itchy:

There were those VWs I wanted to open . . . and the tractor . . . and I heard that some Primates needed to be rescued from GTP.

I had a duplicate Coke truck that was calling for attention:

I use the glove on one hand - it prevents oils and acids from hitting the cars as soon as I open them. After they have modelled at least once - they lose their virginity and are handled the way cars are meant to be handled. Fondly. Now I had a second Coke truck opened - and the complete six-set carded.

Many of these were older doubles that were waiting to be opened so that they could then wait to be customised. (Forever. But it's the thought that counts.)

I had planned wheel/interior/windshield swaps for these:

And then I began getting drunk with power. There was a Nardo on the wall for the longest time. I wanted my Nardo. And I wanted it now. I need to have it in my pocket at work - this way it would keep me from missing the Nardo in GT5. Let's not talk about the RL Nardo please. Someone else has that.

Getting the Nardo 5 Pack off the wall made some others also come off the wall 'accidently'.
They kinda fell off into my hands and it was too much of a hassle to put them back. I decided it was less work to open them. Some Boulevards, too.

Fine by me - after all your angle on the cars may be quite different to ours - I don't mind seeing some models over and over - if it's someone else posting it. Viewpoints are different and panoramas of parts of a collection are nice. Many of the cars that DW, Ben and Cano show are ones I have seen before, or have in my collection, but it's nice to know they have them, too.
I have also seen tons of cars in this thread that I have never seen before in my life - from the three mentioned, as well as from other posters, some of whom don't drop in as regularly as we do.

I think for a guy like you, who has consistently shown that he has this amazing knowledge of the different marques, model variations, popular mods and customs, etc, etc, it would be a more ludicrous claim to actually not have any model cars.

Photobucket is killing me right now, though, Phil - it won't let me upload anything anymore; and I have plenty of space left in my account, have emailed them and awaiting some action - I'm working with older photos that have been uploaded previously. Already investigating other hosters (easy enough to sign up - a few clicks of the mouse, since all sites out there are looking for activity - it's what keeps them alive) - but I hate shifting loyalties, so I'm going to try and wait till PB fixes its new layout (modifications to the site are going on, and is part of the problem - others are whining, too)

TBH - the one who pees me off here the most is you because you don't collect, yet every car you have is one that I need/want/desire/salivate over, etc. Satisfied now? Keep posting pics of the recent cars you have stopped collecting; I need to see what I have to want.

Those are older photos, Goat . . . I am actually using this spare time to post undisturbed for a change.
And I can smell grilled lamb . . . and steamed cabbage . . . for dinner, so not moving for awhile.

I freed it some time ago, and it has been around town already, even going so far as to drift on several bar and restaurant counters. Managed to avoid the car thieves so far. (You'd be amazed at who would filch a HW off you. Try carrying one around and just casually bring it out in company. It may not come back.)

Just got home from the meet. Picked up 5 cars for $15 total. So I think I did ok. Added another Toyota MR2 (first release), Toyota Celica (preferred series), and 24/seven (color shifters) to the collection, got the red Garage Ferrari 250GTO and got another Zamac Madd Propz so I could open it.

I saw a handful of 24/7 color shifter things at that one store I sometime go that stock bunch of old cars? They had them on clearance I think for $1.11 or something. I grab one, try to get in the line at the cashier..... it was like flashflood. Everybody in the store hit the cashiers at once. I left it there & walked out.
