Mmmmm, very nice. I wonder if that recolor of the R34 is what the ZAMAC version is going to be based off of...or released with rather.*pic* R34 and S2K
Also, scored some

Zamac, Ooops..
Still don't understand why it's like that, is it an error of some kind? Surely it was never sold like that.. unfinished.
Nice grabs. 👍

Oh...yes, yes, yes.
a 69 Charger Daytona is also listed there. If I remember correctly, the first casting of the Daytona was Final Run'd yers ago, so we will be seeing a new casting of this thing?
Still not excited at all at the new line. And the Scion. Eeww.
Instead of "Hot", maybe speed, fast, something like that, more literal.Yes, that was the point; see 'bloody' is colloquial, and the Japanese would not have a direct translation for the concept - so they'd be using the equivalent word (what would that be? Is there a similar word for our English 'damn'?)
So the metaphorical value of 'Hot Wheels' as a term exceeds it's literary meaning and for me (for example) goes way beyond just 'warm wheels' (as opposed to cold).
MBs were sloooooow compared to HWs. When we first started to race HWs against the Huskys and Corgis and Majorettes and MBs, we were blown away by the speed of the HotWheels. These cars were blindingly fast in comparison to the 'dinkys' we had. They had 'hot' wheels. Really. Hot. Wheels. We called them speedwheels, whizzwheels - we hadn't an adjective blazing enough to describe this new speed given to us diecast collectors that actually raced our cars. We had to live with the term 'Hot' Wheels - which actually was quite apt. We just wanted more flames, and fire, and heat, and blazing speeds reflected in the name. But 'Hot' it was - and hot it still is today - and most of the fastest cars in the diecast world today I can bet is . . . the one and only 'Hot' Wheels. It's all about the wheels.
Now if you are not from the same colloquial culture, obviously you are going to look at the brand name in a more literal way, and while the term 'wheels' translates quite nicely, the term 'hot' may not.
Because this 'hot' is the hot you'd apply to a babe, or a car, or a soundtrack. Something so cool that it's totally hot.
What does 'Kyosho' mean anyway? Tamiya?
I concur. 👍Oh...yes, yes, yes.
Cano, which Scion & what's wrong with its looks?
Cano, which Scion & what's wrong with its looks?
If you think that car's ugly, spitting in the church, I must try next time I visit one.The Morris Wagon is one of the coolest HW Castings ever. I'm doing one right now, just stripped the paint off.
And the Scionyotabaru 86 is ugly as spitting in church. You can't know how much I hate that car.
Oh...yes, yes, yes.

Oh oh oh question:
Is the 2013 Camaro ZL1 with the solid red wheels a variation? Or was it the the transparent wheels?
Technically both are considered a variation. The clear-red ones are a bit harder to find, but I wouldn't really call either of them rare.
